Yesterday after a long time I went to the movies with my boyfriend @ismaelgranados after reviewing the billboard, we went for the movie "Sleep" by Jason Yu, South Korean film that we chose mainly for having as main actor the same of the movie "parasites" Lee Sun-kyun. I think Asian movies are getting a good reputation, and this one adds to the list of why to watch them.
Sleep", a movie that combines fun, humor and suspense brilliantly! With a fabulous script that keeps the viewer on their toes at all times, this film shares similarities with "Parasites" in its ability to surprise with unexpected twists and turns. The way fun and suspense are intertwined is fascinating, keeping the audience on edge and captivated.
The acting and characters in "Sleep" are compelling and engaging, helping to create an emotional connection to the story. The everyday life of a newlywed couple expecting a child vows to always be victorious in any situation together. The direction is exceptional, perfectly balancing comedy and tension, which contributes to a unique cinematic experience.
The production and design of the film are equally remarkable, despite not leaving the same apartment, or small outdoor scenes, they manage to achieve visual richness in each scene. The script is about a man who can't sleep, and his wife tries to help to get everyone at home to rest, but the situation goes beyond simple insomnia.
As for the acting, editing and pacing of the film, they integrate impeccably to maintain interest and emotional impact throughout the film, it could be said that we are drawn into a more psychological terror, for the everyday, easily identifiable.
"Sleep" is a film that will make you laugh, keep you on the edge of your seat and give you chills, a truly haunting combination that will leave you thinking long after the movie theater lights go up. You don't know if it's because of the absurdity or because of how the script grabs you in a nice way, even to say how crazy this pod is... hahaha recommended. 9/10.

Ayer después de mucho tiempo fui al cine con mi novio @ismaelgranados luego de revisar minuciosamente la cartelera, nos fuimos por la película "Sleep" de Jason Yu, película sur coreana que la elegimos principalmente por tener de actor principal al mismo de la pelicula "parasitos" Lee Sun-kyun. Creo que las pelicula asiaticas estan agarrando buena fama, y esta se suma a la lista del porque si verlas.

Con un guion fabuloso que mantiene al espectador atento en todo momento, esta película comparte similitudes con "Parásitos" en su habilidad para sorprender con giros inesperados. La forma en que se entrelazan la diversión y el suspenso es fascinante, manteniendo al público en vilo y cautivado.
La actuación y los personajes en "Sleep" son convincentes y atractivos, lo que ayuda a crear una conexión emocional con la historia. la cotidianidad de una pareja recien casada y en espera de un hijo que se prometen siempre salir victoriosos ante cualquier situación juntos. La dirección es excepcional, logrando equilibrar a la perfección la comedia y la tensión, lo que contribuye a una experiencia cinematográfica única.
La producción y diseño de la película son igualmente destacables, a pesar de no salir de un mismo apartamento, o pequeñas escenas en el exterior se las ingenian para lograr riqueza visual en cada escena. El guion va de un hombre que no puede dormir, y su esposa intenta ayudar para lograr que todos en casa descansen, pero la situación va más allá de un simple insomnio.
En cuanto a la actuación, la edición y el ritmo de la película, se integran de manera impecable para mantener el interés y el impacto emocional durante todo el metraje, se podría decir que nos arrastran a un terror más psicológico, por lo cotidiano, fácilmente identificable.
"Sleep" es una película que te hará reír, te mantendrá al borde de tu asiento y te dará escalofríos, una combinación verdaderamente inolvidable que te dejará pensando mucho después de que se enciendan las luces del cine. No sabes si por lo absurdo o por como el guion te atrapa de una manera agradable, hasta decir que locura esta vaina... jajaja recomendada. 9/10.
