De eso se trata "juego limpio", una pelicula que puedes encontrar en Netflix. Nuestra historia, ambientada en New York, se centra en una pareja de gestores de cartera, involucrados en el mundo de las inversiones y cosas asi, llamados Emily y Luke, repentinamente hay una vacante laboral dentro de la corporación y es la chica quien recibe el ascenso. A partir de alli, esta relación va a dejar de funcionar. Los celos comienzan a verse en Luke dejando a Emily muy insegura de si misma y de sus capacidades laborales.
That's what "Fair Game", a movie you can find on Netflix, is all about. Our story, set in New York, focuses on a couple of portfolio managers, involved in the world of investments and such, named Emily and Luke, suddenly there is a job vacancy within the corporation and it is the girl who gets the promotion. From then on, this relationship is going to stop working. Jealousy starts to show in Luke leaving Emily very insecure about herself and her job capabilities.

En cuanto a la trama, me parece que es algo que realmente podría llegar a suceder y que realmente no dudo que le haya sucedido a algunas parejas, creo que es lo que más me llamó la atención de la película, 😄 la presentación de los personajes estuvo muy bien lograda, ya que se nos intruduce en ambas facetas de cada uno, la profesional y la personal y que en el desarrollo de la trama, veremos como a pesar de en un principio encontrarse muy ligadas, poco a poco se irán distanciando. El amor y la dependencia emocional pueden nublar nuestras decisiones, aun cuando algo en nuestro interior nos diga lo contrario, Emily hizo todo lo que estuvo a su alcance, como mujer y como profesional, para ayudar a su pareja a conseguir un ascenso, sin embargo, el ego de Luke, no le permitía verlo. No se puede ayudar a quien no quiere ser ayudado, decía mi sabia abuelita.. 🤣
As for the plot, it seems to me that it is something that could really happen and I really do not doubt that it has happened to some couples, I think it is what most caught my attention of the film, 😄 the presentation of the characters was very well done, as we are intruded in both facets of each one, the professional and personal and that in the development of the plot, we will see how despite being very linked at first, gradually they will be distancing. Love and emotional dependence can cloud our decisions, even when something inside us tells us otherwise. Emily did everything in her power, as a woman and as a professional, to help her partner get a promotion, but Luke's ego did not allow her to see it. You can't help those who don't want to be helped, my wise granny used to say.... 🤣
Emily, (interpretada por la actriz Phoebe Dynevor, a quien podríamos recordar de la serie Bridgerton) es una mujer absolutamente enamorada de su prometido Luke, la relación pintaba perfecta, ella es excelente profesional comprometida con su carrera y su empresa, la pena que le da ser ella la merecedora de este y no su pareja; se le dificulta incluso darle la noticia, Phoebe realmente dramatiza muy bien este sentimiento. La primera vez que la vi actuar fue en Bridgerton, serie que ME ENCANTÓ, (de la cual espero con ansias su tercera temporada jaja) y con este largometraje terminé de convencerme que la chica se las trae.
Emily, (played by actress Phoebe Dynevor, who we might remember from the series Bridgerton) is a woman absolutely in love with her fiancé Luke, the relationship looked perfect, she is an excellent professional committed to her career and her company, the pity that she is the one who deserves this and not her partner; it is difficult for her to even give him the news, Phoebe really dramatizes this feeling very well. The first time I saw her acting was in Bridgerton, a series that I LOVED, (of which I look forward to its third season haha) and with this feature film I finished convincing me that the girl has it in her.
Luke: interpretado por el actor Alden Caleb Ehrenreich, este hombre realmente logró que odiara a este personaje; celoso, resentido, envidioso y con un sin fin de problemas emocionales por tratar, demostró que a veces el amor que decimos sentir, no es tanto como para aceptar que onuestra pareja sea mejor que nosotros en ciertos aspectos de la vida.
Luke: played by actor Alden Caleb Ehrenreich, this man really made me hate this character; jealous, resentful, envious and with endless emotional problems to deal with, he showed that sometimes the love we say we feel, is not so much to accept that our partner is better than us in certain aspects of life.
Peeeero, sin lugar a dudas, el personaje que mas odié en esta pelicula fue: a Campbell, o el jefe de Luke y Emily, este personaje se encuentra interpretado por el actor Edward Maurice Charles Marsan.
But, without a doubt, the character I hated the most in this movie was Campbell, or Luke and Emily's boss, played by the actor Edward Maurice Charles Marsan.

Campbell, es un tipo prepotente, pedante, que no conoce la empatía o la humanidad, solamente piensa en dinero y cómo hacerlo, sin importarle absolutamente nada más! 🙂 trata a las personas como objetos y podríamos decir que incluso que este contribuyó a empeorar los celos y la envidia de Luke, ya que lo menospreciaba y lo consideraba un estorbo dentro de la corporación. Y bueno, Luke ya había cometido un par de errorcitos que le habían costado a la empresa unos cuantos miles de dolares.
Campbell is an arrogant, pedantic guy, who knows nothing about empathy or humanity, he only thinks about money and how to make it, without caring about anything else 🙂 he treats people like objects and we could even say that he contributed to Luke's jealousy and envy, since he looked down on him and considered him a nuisance within the corporation. And well, Luke had already made a couple of little mistakes that had cost the company a few thousand dollars.
En resumen, esta peli para mi es un 10/10, perfecta para verla un sábado por la noche, con un buen tazón de cotufas o pochoclos 🍿 te va a atrapar desde el primer minuto! 😉 ademas que el final les va a volar la cabeza!! 😖
In short, this movie for me is a 10/10, perfect to watch it on a Saturday night, with a good bowl of popcorn 🍿 it will catch you from the first minute! 😉 plus the ending will blow your mind!!!! 😖
