As you rightly said, I think it's a gem that's worth seeing. On the one hand, it shows reality, but reality without veils about war, which sometimes people don't want to show or see, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's raw and devastating, in addition to the scars and trauma it leaves on the people who suffer it. I met someone who was in the Falklands War and he told me things first-hand.
But on the other hand, I see that it is love, true love, that makes the protagonist resist even the cruelest aspects of life. Love is a force more powerful than fear and war, and it can draw energy and strength from where there is none. Few know this kind of love that gives everything and fills the heart with life even when the body is dead.
Thank you for this recommendation, JC. It is wonderful, and I could feel how much you liked it and how it impacted you. Sometimes we need something to hit us in order to bring out our emotions, because otherwise they are repressed. This miniseries makes the soul vulnerable.
Como bien dijiste me parece que es una joya que merece la pena ver. Por un lado se muestra la realidad, pero la realidad sin velos sobre la guerra, la que a veces no se quiere mostrar o no se quiere ver, pero eso no significa que no exista y es cruda y devastadora, además de las marcas y traumas que deja en la gente que la sufre. Conocí a alguien que estuvo en la guerra de Malvinas y me ha contado cosas de primera mano.
Pero por otro lado veo que es lo que hace que el protagonista resista hasta lo más cruel de la vida y es el amor, el verdadero. El amor como fuerza más poderosa que el miedo y la guerra y que puede hacer sacar energías y fuerzas de donde no las hay. Pocos conocen ese amor que lo da todo y que llena el corazón de vida aunque el cuerpo este muerto.
Gracias por esta recomendación JC, es maravillosa y pude sentir cuanto te gustó e impacto. A veces necesitamos que algo nos golpee para sacar emociones porque de otra manera se reprimen. Esta miniserie hace vulnerable el alma.

Recomendada. Es fabulosa. En España esta disponible en Movistar+ pero se puede conseguir por muchas otras vías.
Adoro las historias duras, que me hagan sentir triste. el mundo no es como uno la desea y la vida nos da muchos golpes. Seguramente la novela es excelente y el cineasta ha logrado una adaptación memorable.
