Hello, people of the Internet, although I did not plan to talk about the series episode by episode, I feel that I had to review this second chapter, and in the first episode they cut the reunion between Rick and Michonne, which of course is a resource to leave the viewer wanting more, however I felt it was very cut, as if there was no sense of ending, but rather of being literally cut, fortunately in this episode we can see this scene in its entirety, the reward for so many years of waiting.
Hola, gente de Internet, si bien no pensaba hablar de la serie episodio por episodio, siento que este segundo capítulo tenía que reseñarlo, y es que, en el primer episodio nos cortaron el reencuentro entre Rick y Michonne, que claro que es un recurso para dejar al espectador con ganas de más, sin embargo lo sentí muy cortado, como sin sensación de final, sino de estar literalmente cortado, afortunadamente en este episodio podemos ver esta escena al completo, la recompensa de tantos años de espera.
I'm not going to tell the episode to avoid spoilers, I'll just give some context. Let's say that in this episode we are explained who is the group that Michone has been with since the final episode of The Walking Dead, the truth is I don't know if they will have more presence later but they were practically there to mobilize the episode a little and that's it (they didn't come back to appear more and at least they didn't leave the possibility of them being important later) in the last episode of The Walking Dead, the shot when Michonne finds these people suggests that something big is coming with them, however it wasn't like that at all.
No voy a contar el episodio para evitar spoiler, solo daré algo de contexto. digamos que en este episodio se nos explica quien es el grupo con el que ha estado Michone desde el episodio final de The Walking Dead, la verdad no sé si luego tendrán más presencia, pero prácticamente estuvieron para movilizar un poco el episodio y listo (no volvieron a aparecer más, y al menos no dejaron la posibilidad de que tengan importancia más tarde) en el último episodio de The Walking Dead, el plano cuando Michonne encuentra a esta gente sugiere que vendrá algo grande con ellos, sin embargo no fue así en lo absoluto.
Now, in this episode we meet some new characters who, although in the end they did not manage to survive (I say this because they do not have great relevance for the plot, they only help with Michonne's development, but not for the plot itself) they are charismatic and they fit very well. Nat was my favorite character during this episode, the actor did an impressive job to make us love his character in a matter of a few minutes, he is a very well constructed character, he is complex and realistic and in fact he advises Michonne very well on the movements she he must do at the same time, who does not leave her alone at any time like the unconditional friend that he is.
Ahora bien, en este episodio conocemos a algunos personajes nuevos que si bien al final no lograron sobrevivir (lo digo porque no tienen gran relevancia para la trama, solo ayudan con el desarrollo de Michonne, pero no para la trama en sí) sí son carismáticos y caen muy bien. Nat fue mi personaje preferido durante este episodio, el actor hizo un trabajo impresionante para hacernos encariñar con su personaje en cuestión de pocos minutos, es un personaje muy bien construido, es complejo y realista y de hecho aconseja muy bien a Michonne sobre los movimientos que debe hacer a la par, que no la deja sola en ningún momento como el amigo incondicional que es.
Now let's get back to the most important thing: Rick and Michonne. The truth is that for a second I thought that she was going to be disappointed to see Rick as one of the soldiers responsible for murdering her friends, however, she trusted him from the beginning, even when Nat asked her "is he still he?" Michonne's trust was blind, and the truth is that the reunion was tremendously emotional, that cry that Michonne lets out when she says the words "I found you" is very moving, as well as the way they hugged each other, let's remember that the characters do not come in approximately 10 years.
Ahora volvamos a lo más importante: Rick y Michonne. La verdad que por un segundo pensé que ella iba a estar decepcionada de ver a Rick como uno de los soldados responsable de haber asesinado a sus amigos, sin embargo, ella confió en él desde un principio, aún cuando Nat le preguntó "¿sigue siendo él?" La confianza de Michonne fue ciega, y la verdad el reencuentro fue tremendamente emotivo, ese llanto que suelta Michonne cuando suelta las palabras "te encontré" es muy conmovedor, así como tan bien lo fue la forma de abrazarse, recordemos que los personajes no se ven en aproximadamente 10 años.
I also liked Rick's evolution as a character, he was always very intelligent (that is precisely why he was the leader of his community), however, he often turned out to be very impulsive and rebellious, although with Negan he had learned not to be so rebellious and pretend to be submissive to wait for the right moment, he retreated when he was in the CRM facilities, given that the desperation to reunite with his family was greater, however, after this encounter with Michonne and his 5 unsuccessful escape attempts, Rick uses his knowledge of the community to get Michonne in so they can be together while buying time to deliver the final blow and escape safely.
También me gustó la evolución de Rick como personaje, siempre fue muy inteligente (por eso precisamente era el líder de su comunidad) sin embargo, muchas veces resultaba ser muy impulsivo y rebelde, aunque con Negan había aprendido a no ser tan rebelde y fingir ser sumiso para esperar el momento correcto, dio un retroceso al estar en las instalaciones de la CRM, dado a que el desespero por juntarse de nuevo con su familia era mayor, sin embargo, tras este encuentro con Michonne y sus 5 intentos de fuga sin éxito, Rick usa sus conocimientos sobre la comunidad para hacer que Michonne entre y puedan estar juntos mientras ganan tiempo para poder dar el golpe final y escapar de forma segura.
But we still have to see how they will do it since the community is extremely huge and strong and there is also a dangerous drawback, Jadis knows Michonne and threatened Rick when she recognized her (Michonne) when he entered the community. How will all this continue? It's precisely what I want to know
Pero aún hay que ver como lo harán, ya que la comunidad es extremadamente enorme y fuerte, además hay un inconveniente peligroso, Jadis conoce a Michonne y amenazó a Rick al reconocerla cuando entró a la comunidad ¿Como seguirá todo esto? Es precisamente lo que quiero saber.
Without a doubt, seeing them together is what I was most looking forward to and it moved me very much. I wanted to see Rick's reaction after finding out that in addition to Judith he has another child, however, given that the minutes he has to talk are very few (in the eyes of the CRM they don´t known each other) it is better to talk about what is current than about the past. I loved this episode.
Sin lugar a dudas verlos juntos es lo que más esperaba y me emocionó muchísimo, quería ver la reacción de Rick tras saber que además de Judith tiene otro hijo, sin embargo, dado a que los minutos que tiene para hablar son muy escasos (a ojos de la CRM no se conocen) es mejor hablar de lo actual que del pasado. Amé este episodio.

I thought this show already came to its conclusion lol, but I see this is a sequel series. It is nice to see Rick and Michonne together again after so long.
The main series is over but there are several in-universe series (with characters outside the main series) and spin off series with characters from the main series, this is one of them and yes, it is extremely exciting

Ok leerte me dió ganas de retomar la serie en donde la dejé que fuen cuando me enteré que quien moría era Glenn. Pero me armaré de valor para empezar a ver la serie desde esa temporada y luego ver este Spin Off del que hablas.
hay tres spin off, Daryl Dixon (se llama asi), Dead City (con Negan y Maggie, por extraño que te suene) y este de Rick y Michonne, para este no es obligatorio pero te recomendaría ver The Walking Dead: world beyond (habla de la comunidad que tiene cautivo a Rick) así que ayuda mucho a entender mejor la nueva serie
Notarás que algunos episodios de la temporada posterior a la muerte de Glenn son un poco aburridos o lentos, sin embargo no pares de verla porque las siguientes temporadas son buenísimas y retoman el ritmo especial que tenía TWD al inicio, ya las últimas temporadas son buenísimas (aún sin Rick) y mejor aún cuando sabes que existe este spin off :3
Una serie prometedora muy interesante e intensa con la que emocionarse.
La verdad es que sí, hasta ahora va muy muy bien :3
