Una película Mórbida, pero con un mensaje que muchos ignoramos, pero tarde o temprano aceptaremos.
Hace unos días vi está película, la verdad no sé cómo terminé viéndola, pero ver algo totalmente diferente a lo que estoy acostumbrado fue de alguna manera agradable, ya que no esperaba que está particular película generará inquietud en mí, pero al final me dejó un gran mensaje.
Podemos ver lo poco adaptables que somos ante situaciones donde el físico parece ser lo más importante y terminamos por rechazar a personas que se ven diferentes a nosotros, esto a veces lo hacemos sin darnos cuenta o quizás de manera consciente, ya que pertenecemos a una sociedad que aún etiqueta a las personas y la divide en grupos.
A Morbid movie, but with a message that many of us ignore, but sooner or later we will accept.
A few days ago I saw this movie, the truth is I don't know how I ended up watching it, but seeing something totally different from what I'm used to was somehow pleasant, since I didn't expect that this particular movie will generate concern in me, but in the end it left me great message.
We can see how little adaptable we are to situations where the physical seems to be the most important thing and we end up rejecting people who look different from us, this sometimes we do without realizing it or perhaps consciously, since we belong to a society which still labels people and divides it into groups.
En esta oportunidad vemos como las cosas se muestran casi del mismo modo que en la sociedad pasada o quizás actual, pero en la película nos presentan situaciones donde verse normal no tiene que significar ser una persona norma. Esto es algo que me dio vueltas a la cabeza desde el inicio donde pude notar que las cosas pintaría de una manera diferente a la esperada.
Vemos como diferentes personas con problemas poco comunes y gustos fuera de lo normal conviven en una misma sociedad, pero que aún existe ese tabú o distancia entre personas que comparten de manera indirecta la misma sociedad. Las personas que forman parte de esta comunidad por así llamarlo son diferentes con respecto a su físico, algunos por razones que desconozco y no se explica en la película están deformes, como su hubieran sufrido un accidente o por su genética.
This time we see how things are shown in almost the same way as in the past or perhaps current society, but in the film they present us with situations where looking normal does not have to mean being a normal person. This is something that came to my mind from the beginning where I could tell that things would paint in a different way than expected.
We see how different people with unusual problems and unusual tastes coexist in the same society, but that there is still that taboo or distance between people who indirectly share the same society. The people who are part of this community so to speak are different with respect to their physique, some for unknown reasons and not explained in the film are deformed, as if they had suffered an accident or due to their genetics.
También podemos ver personas que físicamente no presentan ninguna deformidad, pero en su interior existe dolor y caos por no sentirse completos por alguna razón fuera de lo normal, al igual que personas con gustos mórbidos que superan la ficción y lo que la sociedad puede etiquetar como normal.
La película revela en cada escena diferentes puntos de vista de lo que significa ser feliz sin importar como nos veamos por fuera, pero también nos muestran los miserables o despreciables que podemos ser como personas.
¿DE QUÉ TRATA LA PELÍCULA?
Un grupo de personas con deformidad o malformación intentan tener una vida normal dentro de una sociedad que aún sigue despreciando lo que para ellos no es normal y deben fijar posiciones que no los hagan sentir más diferentes de lo que ya son para formar parte de una sociedad que no es perfecta, pero también veremos a personas que de cierto modo se ven bien físicamente ante la sociedad, pero que por dentro son desagradables o con problemas aún peores.
We can also see people who do not physically present any deformity, but inside there is pain and chaos for not feeling complete for some unusual reason, as well as people with morbid tastes that go beyond fiction and what society can label as normal.
The film reveals in each scene different points of view of what it means to be happy no matter how we look on the outside, but they also show us how miserable or despicable we can be as people.
WHAT IS THE MOVIE ABOUT?
A group of people with deformity or malformation try to have a normal life within a society that still continues to despise what is not normal for them and must set positions that do not make them feel more different from what they already are to be part of a society which is not perfect, but we will also see people who in a certain way look good physically to society, but inside they are unpleasant or with even worse problems.
Nos presentan historias diferentes, pero que comparten la misma sociedad y que de alguna manera u otra se verán conectadas entre sí, mostrando lo que las personas son capaces para conseguir lo que desean y también los demonios internos que luchan por ser liberados, pero mostrado de manera que podamos entender el mensaje oculto en cada una de las situaciones mostradas donde no necesariamente verse bien es significativo de felicidad.
Veremos como el amor entre personas diferentes para la sociedad tienen cavidad dentro de ella ante situaciones que no son nada común, pero que de alguna manera representan un tabú social que en tiempos actuales no seremos capaces de entender, pero que no representan ninguna barrera para ellos.
La trama es un poco Mórbida con un toque de comedia negra que puede causar una sensación incómoda en el espectador si no estás acostumbrado a este tipo de películas que superan lo que es real, pero lo plasman en una sociedad actual llevando ese mensaje a lo más profundo de cada uno de nosotros. Un concepto diferente que juega con nuestra moral y nos pone sobre una balanza que mide que tan diferentes somos de los demás.

HABLEMOS DE LOS PERSONAJES / ACTORES
Dentro de la trama conocemos diferentes personajes que darán de que hablar, pero en esta oportunidad me quiero enfocar en tres personajes que me impactaron y dejaron un mensaje interesante dentro de la trama.
La actriz (Ana Polvorosa) le da vida al personaje de Samantha, una joven que tiene quizás la deformidad más exagerada que haya visto en una película, está chica tiene un rostro tan mórbido que causa grima en el espectador, pero marca la profundidad de ese mensaje que el director o guionista desean transmitir. Vemos como su deformidad causa repulsión en la sociedad, pero también agrado en personas que ven las cosas diferentes, está chica representa lo que muchos rechazamos sin antes darnos la oportunidad de conocerlo y quizás nunca lo hagamos por ese pensamiento tan retórico que aún existe en cada uno de nosotros.
LET'S TALK ABOUT THE CHARACTERS / ACTORS
Within the plot we meet different characters that will give something to talk about, but this time I want to focus on three characters that impacted me and left an interesting message within the plot.
The actress (Ana Polvorosa) gives life to the character of Samantha, a young woman who has perhaps the most exaggerated deformity I have ever seen in a movie, this girl has a face so morbid that it causes tears in the viewer, but it marks the depth of that message that the director or screenwriter wishes to convey. We see how her deformity causes repulsion in society, but also pleases people who see things differently, this girl represents what many of us reject without first giving ourselves the opportunity to know it and perhaps we will never do so because of that rhetorical thought that still exists in each one of us.
El actor (Eloi Costa) le da vida a Cristian un joven que físicamente de ve normal, pero sufre de una condición psicológica que lo hace odiar sus piernas e intenta deshacerse de ellas, ya que representan un problema para él. Aquí ya podemos notar que no solo las personas con ciertas condiciones sufren, también la otra parte de la sociedad que a pesar de ser normales sufren en secreto y luchan contra esa sensación de insatisfacción asía su persona buscando la felicidad ante una situación poco común.
The actor (Eloi Costa) gives life to Cristian a young man who physically looks normal, but suffers from a psychological condition that makes him hate his legs and tries to get rid of them, since they represent a problem for him. Here we can already notice that not only people with certain conditions suffer, but also the other part of society that despite being normal suffer in secret and fight against that feeling of dissatisfaction that their person looks for happiness in an unusual situation.
Por último tenemos a la actriz (Candela Peña) quien hace el papel de Ana una mujer que se encuentra entre dos amores tan diferentes, pero que no la llenan de la forma que ella esperaba, se enfrenta a una situación donde desea conocer el amor, pero que en cada hombre no lo consigue, ya que viven conceptos totalmente diferentes que la apartan de esa sensación de amor que ella no acepta por ir en contra de lo que para ella es importante.
Finally we have the actress (Candela Peña) who plays the role of Ana, a woman who finds herself between two such different loves, but that does not fill her in the way she expected, she faces a situation where she wishes knowing love, but that in each man does not succeed, since they live totally different concepts that separate her from that feeling of love that she does not accept because she goes against what is important to her.
Podemos ver claramente como cada personaje vive momentos tan parecidos, pero caen en una sociedad que los obliga de cierto modo a caminar a un ritmo que ellos no desean, la película es más profunda de lo que parece y deja mensajes tan poderosos que pueden causar en quien la entiende a la perfección un pensamiento más abierto sobre la sociedad en la que vivimos.
HABLEMOS DE LO BUENO Y LO MALO
La película presenta matices tan marcados que podemos tardar horas buscando lo bueno o lo malo de la trama principal, pero que siendo objetivos podemos diferenciar lo bueno y lo malo.
LO BUENO
Lo arriesgado de presentar una película fuera de lo común con un concepto tan descabellado para algunos y para otros tan nuevos genera opiniones totalmente distintas, pero que puede ser favorable y en este caso podría decir que en el aspecto creativo tiene un punto a favor nada de lo que verás en la película es común y eso puede ser un atractivo.
Las escenas están diseñadas, estructuradas y creadas para llevar un mensaje a la sociedad ese punto da mucho valor a una trama que intenta fijar un pensamiento que quizás como sociedad debamos prestar algo de atención.
Sus personajes no representan algo diferente dentro del contexto que manejan, pero si el valor que desean darle al mensaje que desean compartir. Toda la película gira en eso llevar un mensaje no es una película que tenga como objetivo hacerte volar la cabeza o mostrarte la cura para no envejecer es una película con un solo objetivo mostrar la realidad tal como es.
We can clearly see how each character experiences such similar moments, but they fall into a society that forces them in a certain way to walk at a pace that they do not want, the film is deeper than it seems and leaves such powerful messages that they can cause in who understands it perfectly a more open thought about the society in which we live.
LET'S TALK ABOUT THE GOOD AND THE BAD
The film has such marked nuances that we can spend hours looking for the good or the bad of the main plot, but being objective we can differentiate the good and the bad.
THE GOOD
The riskiness of presenting a film out of the ordinary with a concept so crazy for some and for others so new generates totally different opinions, but it can be favorable and in this case I could say that in the creative aspect it has a point in favor nothing of what you will see in the movie is common and that can be an attraction.
The scenes are designed, structured and created to carry a message to society that point gives a lot of value to a plot that tries to fix a thought that perhaps as a society we should pay some attention.
His characters do not represent something different within the context they handle, but the value they want to give to the message they want to share. The whole film revolves around that, carrying a message is not a film that aims to blow your mind or show you the cure for not aging, it is a film with a single objective to show reality as it is.
LO MALO
El mensaje es claro, pero no tuvo el desarrollo orgánico que se podría haber esperado, conocer un poco más sobre los personajes fue algo que quedó a medias y puede dejarte con la sensación de que hace falta algo más.
Las actuaciones son muy básicas no tenemos mucho de donde opinar, esto es debido a la forma en como se estructuró la película y por esa razón es limitada por esa parte.
Abusa un poco en querer exagerar la deformidad de las personas llegando al extremo del desagrado o de que estas personas sean vistas como monstruos y no como personas con condiciones especiales, aunque es una comedia negra, sobre pasa el límite de lo aceptable.
THE BAD
The message is clear, but it did not have the organic development that could have been expected, knowing a little more about the characters was something that was left half and can leave you with the feeling that something more is needed.
The performances are very basic, we don't have much to say about it, this is due to the way the film was structured and for that reason it is limited by that part.

El director y guionista Eduardo Casanova desde el 2005 ha participado en diferentes series de televisión española y para el año 2017 toma las riendas de un proyecto como la película PIELES queriendo representar a una sociedad que se está comiendo así misma y que a través de esta trama quiso marcar un antes y después.
Esta película representó un reto, ya que debía tocar fibras sensibles donde el espectador común no sentirá a primera mano una conexión con la película y generaría opiniones divididas entre los espectadores. A su corta edad ha caminado con los grandes del cine español y participado en diferentes películas, series y proyectos cinematográficos.

MI CALIFICACIÓN
Debo ser muy sincero la película me genero algo de grima no estoy acostumbrado a la comedia negra y me cuesta entenderla al principio, pero debo decir que a pesar de eso puede entender el mensaje y me quedo grabado.
No es una película para todo el mundo y tampoco será una de las que pase a la historia por cambiar vidas, pero si una película que vale la pena ver por lo profundo de su mensaje, debo calificar está película con un 7/10.

MY RATING
I must be very sincere, the film gave me a bit of a grudge. I'm not used to black comedy and it is hard for me to understand it at first, but I must say that despite that, you can understand the message and it remains recorded.

• "EL ÁRBOL DE LA SANGRE" Marc y Rebaca viajan hasta el antiguo caserón de su familia para buscar sus raíces familiares. En ese caserío vasco dibujarán su árbol genealógico, en el que se mezclan relaciones de amor y desamor en una historia llena de secretos y tragedias.
DATO CURIOSO
Sabía que el director Eduardo Casanova tuvo problemas para qué aceptarán la película en salas de cine españolas, ya que la película no era lo suficientemente atractiva para ser transmitida en salas españolas, ya que podrían herir fibras sensibles en los espectadores. Además tuvo un fracaso en taquilla donde un gran porcentaje de personas no vio la película debido a que fue puesta en pequeñas salas de cine y no llegó a la masa de personas que el director hubiera querido, prácticamente el mensaje quedó al aire y muy pocos conocen sobre esta película.
PENSAMIENTO FINAL
Si has llegado hasta este punto quizás tengas una idea más clara de lo que trata la película y lo importante que es verla hasta al final, pero que no hará la diferencia si no entendemos el mensaje profundo que nos deja.
CURIOUS FACT
I knew that the director Eduardo Casanova had problems as to what the film would be accepted in Spanish cinemas, since the film was not attractive enough to be aired in Spanish theaters, as they could hurt the audience's heartstrings. It also had a box office failure where a large percentage of people did not see the film because it was put in small cinemas and did not reach the mass of people that the director would have liked, practically the message was on the air and very few know about this movie.
FINAL THOUGHT
If you have reached this point, you may have a clearer idea of what the film is about and how important it is to see it until the end, but that it will not make a difference if we do not understand the deep message that it leaves us.
Como individuos podemos entender como funciona la sociedad y lo básico que podemos llegar hacer para entender lo que está mal en ella, pero tenemos la dificultad de que estamos sujetos a lo que piensan los demás y quizás seamos influenciados de alguna manera u otra. Aunque no lo queramos aceptar es así y eso cambiará cuando veamos con los mismos ojos este tipo de situaciones como lo ven las personas que son especiales o diferentes a la sociedad.
No debemos vivir con pensamientos obsoletos que solo marcan una distancia estúpida entre nosotros, debemos entender que somos iguales y vivimos en un mundo que nos abraza a todos por igual.
As individuals we can understand how society works and the basic things we can do to understand what is wrong with it, but we have the difficulty that we are subject to what others think and perhaps we are influenced in some way or another. A mi ese chaval no me cae muy bien, pero su película es provocadora. Fue un fracaso en taquilla y eso causo mayores criticas, porque en España las producciones de cine son subvencionadas por el estado. Muchos españoles critican eso, ya que es dinero de sus impuestos. Se destinan millones de Euros al año para apoyar proyectos cinematográficos. Y este chaval se puso de boca larga en una entrega de premios a exigir mas dinero publico para el sector cine. Pues imagínate las criticas que recibió. En España pagas casi la mitad de todos tus ingresos en impuestos, para que los políticos tengan beneficios y muchos se quejan de la subvención al cine, y si la peli es un fracaso, peor.
La película no es la mejor del mundo pero tampoco una Mierda. Lo que si entiendo es que haya gastado ese dinero en algo que no era lo que se esperaba.
Lo cual se puede entender perfectamente ya que el dinero lo pone el gobierno y además la película no es para todo el mundo.
Esta película parece tener una atmósfera muy provocativa y algo muy invitante al debate (en varios tipos de segmentos).
Lo puse en mi lista para verlo en el futuro.
No es una joya pero si te puede general algunas preguntas interesantes, es una película Mórbida pero con un mensaje poderoso!
