I found this movie by chance, and when I saw that the main characters were Anette Benning (Nic) and Julianne Moore (Jules), two actresses of long trajectory, I bet that the film was worth a couple of my leisure hours.
Encontré ésta película por casualidad y al ver que las protagonistas eran Anette Benning (Nic) y Julianne Moore (Jules), dos actrices de larga trayectoria aposté a que el film valía la pena un par de mis horas de ocio.
Nic and Jules are a same-sex couple with two teenage children, Joni and Laser, who have always known they were conceived by a sperm donor and are anxious to know their biological father. So they embark on an adventure to find and meet Paul, played by Mark Ruffalo.
Nic y Jules son un matrimonio del mismo sexo con dos hijos adolescentes, Joni y Laser, quienes de siempre han sabido que fueron concebidos gracias a un donante de esperma y tienen la inquietud de conocer a su padre biológico. Buenísima critica, muy interesante realmente, es curioso que películas como esta pasen por debajo del radar en ocaciones, dramas centrados en temas que usualmente serian polémicos pero como la peli paso debajo del radar termina siendo una peli tranquila y hermosa <3
Si tienes razón, al menos en Sudamérica no tuvo mucha publicidad pero Canadá y estados Unidos fue tan aclamada que varias nominaciones tuvo y el secreto de la película es mostrar que ésta es una familia como cualquier otra y pues las magníficas actuaciones.
