- The Order of Merlin (OM) is a recognition given to wizards and witches who have contributed in some beneficial way to the wizarding world and is considered the highest award that can be given to a wizard. This distinction has three levels, but all three classes are considered high level. Remus was awarded the Order of the First Class for his outstanding work during the Battle of Hogwarts and his dedication to the Order of the Phoenix. This recognition set a precedent since Lupine was the first werewolf to receive it.
3. Remus Lupin fue convertido en hombre lobo por venganza. Su condición se debió a un ataque perpetrado por el hombre lobo Fenrir Greyback. Este incidente ocurrió cuando el mago era apenas un niño. - Remus Lupine was turned into a werewolf for revenge. His condition was due to an attack by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback. This incident occurred when the magician was just a child. Lyall Lupine, Remus's father, worked at the Ministry of Magic and always gave strong and negative statements about werewolves, since he believed that they should die. Lyall was outraged when Greyback suffered lenient treatment in an interrogation. Fenrir perceived this as a personal attack and decided to take revenge. On one occasion he sneaked through the child's bedroom window and bit him when he was barely 4 years old.
4. Su forma de hombre se lobo se veía muy frágil en comparación con la de Greyback o con los estándares de lo que es un hombre lobo.
