The series has many iconic characters, I have my favorite, but the ladies will agree with me that the attention goes to Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, a burly sorcerer with long white hair and multicolored eyes, with a ruthless and mythical attitude, who deep down seems to have a good heart, but knows how to hide it very well behind his armor of seriousness.
La serie cuenta con muchos personajes bastante icónicos, yo tengo mi favorita de quien ya les contare, pero las damas estarán de acuerdo conmigo que la atención se la lleva Henry Cavill al protagonizar a Geralt de Rivia, un brujo fornido de cabello largo blanco y ojos multicolor, con una actitud despiadada y mitica, que muy en el fondo parece tener un buen corazón, pero que lo sabe esconder muy bien detrás de su coraza de seriedad.
My favorite character is the sorceress Yennefer de Vengerberg starring the beautiful Anya Chalotra. Her story begins as a young girl raised by people who despise her and consider her less than a pig, because of her illnesses and body deformities, a hump and pronounced facial features. She is sold to the sorceress Tissaia, a member of the Sorcerers' Brotherhood, who manages to see in her her great power and potential, teaching her to master chaos, which is the basis of magic. Thanks to this knowledge Yennefer becomes a beautiful woman who by fate crosses paths with Geralt becoming his love. I love her character for that incredible transformation, and how she knew how to develop the character in both facets.
Mi personaje favorito es la hechicera Yennefer de Vengerberg protagonizada por le bella Anya Chalotra. Su historia inicia siendo una joven criada por persona que la desprecian y la consideran menos que un cerdo, por motivo de sus enfermedades y deformidades corporales, una joroba y unas facciones faciales pronunciadas. Es vendida a la hechicera Tissaia miembro de la Hermandad de los Hechiceros, que logra ver en ella su gran poder y potencial, enseñándoles a dominar el caos, que es la base de la magia. Gracias a estos conocimientos Yennefer se convierte en una bella mujer que por el destino se cruza con Geralt convirtiéndose en su amor. Me encanta su personaje por esa increíble transformación, y como supo desarrollar el personaje en ambas facetas.
Another great character is the one starring Joey Batey, his name is Jaskier and he is a traveling bard who develops a kind of symbiosis with Geralt being protected by the skills of wizard and warrior, and Geralt receiving fame for the stories told by the bard, which gives him a better chance of being hired, but the best thing is the tacit friendship between them that Geralt refuses to acknowledge, he is that annoying friend that can get on your nerves but you can hardly live without him, a relationship that gives the series several funny and humorous moments.
Otro gran personaje es el protagonizado por Joey Batey, se llama Jaskier y es un bardo viajero que desarrolla una especie de simbiosis con Geralt siendo protegido por las habilidades de brujo y guerrero, y Geralt recibiendo fama por las historias contadas por el bardo, que le brindan mayor oportunidad de ser contratado, pero lo mejor es la relación de amistad tacita entre ellos que Geralt se niega a reconocer, es ese amigo molesto que puede sacarte de quicio pero difícilmente puedes vivir sin él, una relación que brinda a la serie varios momentos divertidos y chistosos.
Conclusion
I must say that I really enjoyed the series, it gave me airs to the Lord of the rings, with that medieval fantasy and mythical touch that I personally love, and it is not surprising its good acceptance by the audience, because it is a very well elaborated story at the level of its books and the series has stuck very well, because it knows that is the basis of its success, the details are very good, it even has its own language created by the author, something very similar to the Lord of the rings.
This series has done the task very well, it found the perfect actor for the main character, with enough fame to contribute to the series, the setting and special effects are quite good and look very clean, it also knew how to take advantage of the fame left by the video game, which gave many new subscribers to Netflix. Perhaps a negative point is the lack of context in many of the aspects that are discussed throughout the chapters, it may be intentional because it invites new fans to investigate between the books, but it is a problem that you solve quickly thanks to the reviews on the internet abound, and it is not necessary to read the whole book to catch up quickly.
Debo decir que he disfrutado mucho la serie, me dio aires a el Señor de los anillos, con ese toque medieval fantasioso y mítico que personalmente me encanta, y no es de extrañar su buena aceptación por la audiencia, porque es una historia muy bien elaborada a nivel de sus libros y la serie se ha apegado muy bien, porque sabe que es la base de su éxito, los detalles son muy buenos, incluso cuenta con su propia lengua creada por el autor, algo muy similar al Señor de los anillos.
Esta serie ha hecho muy bien la tarea, encontró al actor perfecto para el personaje principal, con la fama suficiente para aportar a la serie, la ambientación y efectos especiales son bastante buenos y se ven muy limpios, también supo aprovechar la fama que le dejo el video juego, lo que le otorgo muchos nuevos suscriptores a Netflix. Quizás un punto negativo es la falta de contexto en muchos de los aspectos que se tratan a lo largo de los capítulos, puede que sea intencional porque invita a los nuevos fans a investigar entre los libros, pero es un problema que solucionas rápidamente gracias a que las reseñas en internet abundan, y no es necesario leer todo el libro para ponerte rápidamente al día.

Estoy esperando la segunda temporada. La primera temporada me gusto, Cavill me parece buena elección para el personaje, pero hay algunos capítulos y escenas que no me convencieron, pro ejemplo el episodio donde el dragón habla, madre mía , esa escena no me gusto, ahora los personajes femeninos, ambas protagonistas, si me encantaron.
La segunda temporada se estreno el 17, debo decirte que está muy buena también, y es verdad yo esperaba más de esa escena del dragón pero tampoco me decepcionó tanto como para dejar de verla, al igual que los efectos de magia son muy pobres, no fue hasta la defensa de sodden que hicieron algo bueno.
La tengo en mi lista de pendientes, esa lista no para de crecer en estos días, es increíble. Espero ponerme al corriente pronto, porque efectivamente hay mucho hype en torno a esta serie.
Es buena Gora, me gusto, y creo que te gustara también, estoy viendo la segunda en este momento y sigue gustandome y concuerdo ya no hay tiempo suficiente para ver tantas cosas
