The best time of the year has begun, when horror movies take center stage on all platforms, with many new directors releasing their films in order to get in on the action of creating horror movies and taking them to the top during this period. However, many of these films are quickly forgotten because they are all the same and become repetitive, something we have already seen before. However, a new film was recently released starring a great actor and a director who has made some very good films. It has the right formula for putting together a quality production, but now it will leave action aside to develop a horror film with supernatural events, which is something new for this director.
The film is known as Sinners, and I decided to watch it because of the good reviews it had received, since I'm not a big fan of this genre and the last horror films I've seen I thought were very bad, so I had my doubts about this new one. We see the story of twin brothers who leave the United States to return to their hometown, and this is where the real horror adventure begins for both brothers when they realize that the place is full of vampires whose goal is to kill and destroy everyone, leaving no trace behind. This is where we ask ourselves: Will they realize that they are surrounded by vampires? Will the two brothers make it out alive? And many other things happen in that city that will leave us speechless.
Comenzó la mejor época del año, donde las películas de terror se convierten en el principal protagonista de todas las plataformas, la cual llegan muchos estrenos de nuevos directores para así poder entrar en la jugada de crear sus películas de terror y poder llevarla a la cima durante todo ese tiempo, como también muchas de ellas pasan rápido al olvido por ser lo mismo y se convierten en algo repetitivo que ya hemos visto. Sin embargo, hace poco se estrenó una nueva entrega que tiene como protagonista a un gran actor y un director que ha dirigido muy buenas películas, la cual tiene la fórmula correcta para así poder armar una producción de calidad, pero ahora dejará aún lado la acción para así desarrollar una de terror con eventos sobrenaturales, siendo algo nuevo para dicho director.
La película es conocida como Sinners, donde me animé a verla por las buenas recomendaciones que esta ha tenido, ya que no soy tan fanática de este género y las últimas películas de terror que he visto me han parecido muy malas, por eso tenía mis dudas al respecto de esta nueva. Por ende veremos la historia de unos hermanos gemelos que dejan Estados Unidos para así poder regresar su ciudad natal y es aquí donde comienza la verdadera aventura de terror para ambos hermanos al darse cuenta de que ese lugar está lleno de vampiros que tiene como objetivo matar y acabar con todos, sin dejar ningún rastro y es aquí donde nos preguntamos ¿Se darán cuenta de que están rodeados de vampiros?, ¿Los dos hermanos podrán salir con vida? Y muchas otras que suceden en esa ciudad que nos dejará sin palabras.

As a horror production, they managed to give it a different twist, as with the vampire theme, which is rarely seen and when they use it, it adds value, because you expect it, and that makes every minute much more interesting and the tension grows as you realize that everything is at stake and if there is a vampire next to you waiting to kill you, they achieve an excellent interplay between the real and the supernatural. It also maintains a great aspect of the culture of the place where they are, such as traditions, parties, alcohol, and certain details that allow everyone to come together. What strikes me is that there is a single element, music, that connects humans and vampires as they are there night after night.
Una producción que al ser de tipo de terror lograron darle un giro distinto, al igual que con el tema de vampiros que muy poco se ve y cuando los colocan le aporta valor, por el mismo hecho que uno se espera eso y de esa manera lograr que cada minuto se vuelva mucho más interesante y esa tensión vaya creciendo al saber que todo está en juego y si al lado tuyo tienes un vampiro que está esperando por matarte logran excelente juego entre lo real y lo sobrenatural. También mantiene un gran aspecto de la cultura de esa parte donde ellos esta, como las tradiciones, las fiestas, el alcohol y ciertos detalles que permite que todos se una y lo que me llama la atención es que hay un solo elemento como lo es música que conecta a los humanos y a los vampiros al estar allí noche tras noche.

Each scene in this well-crafted film is full of tension and the fear that one wrong move could ruin everything. It also emphasizes the dark past of this place and, by bringing it to life with the construction of a nightclub, everything changes, highlighting those scenes of great terror when the vampires attack and are full of blood that causes fear. It is clear that it took time to create something unique and new. The surprise in this installment is the twin brothers, with whom I identified because they are always together, working as a team and supporting each other in order to face the dire situation in their city, where we see Michael B. Jordan as one of the main characters who risks his life to kill all the vampires.
Cada una de las escenas de esta película muy bien trabajada, llenas de mucha tensión y ese miedo de que un mal movimiento todo puede salir, además hace énfasis en un pasado oscuro que tiene ese lugar y al darle vida con la construcción de un club nocturno, todo cambia, destacando esas escenas de mucho terror cuando los vampiros atacan y están llenas de mucha sangre que causan miedo y se nota que es un trabajo que les llevó tiempo para así poder crear algo único y nuevo. La sorpresa para esta entrega son los hermanos gemelos, la cual me sentí identificado por el mismo hecho de que los dos siempre están juntos, trabajan en equipo, se apoyan para así poder afrontar esa gran situación que pasan en su ciudad, donde veremos a Michael B. Jordan siendo uno de los principales que arriesga su vida para así poder acabar con todos esos vampiros.

It was a great result and fits perfectly for this season of horror, as it is something different and includes a series of elements that are rarely seen, such as music as part of the connection between everything, giving the whole film a great twist and at the same time recreating something very important from the culture of that part of the world and bringing it to the attention of many people. The horror aspect also maintains a great pace of tension, giving us a few scares, especially when the vampires are there to add even more excitement to the whole film, achieving a result that perhaps all fans of this great horror genre will enjoy.
Fue un gran resultado y encaja perfectamente para esta época de terror al ser algo distinto y una serie de elementos que son muy pocos visto como la música como parte de la conexión de todo, dándole un gran giro a toda la película y a la vez poder recrear algo muy importante de la cultura de esa parte y llevarla a que sea vista por muchas personas. Como también por la parte de terror mantiene un gran ritmo de mucha tensión y de esa manera poder llevarnos algunos sustos y más aún cuando los vampiros están allí para darle mucha más emoción a todo esta película de Sinners, logrando un resultado que quizás le puede gustar a todos los fanáticos de este gran género de terror.

Las películas de vampiros me encanta. Pecadores al parecer promote acción porque mencionas la música, supongo que es una cinta dinámica. Escuchę que el actor hace doble personaje, de ahí la afinidad contigo por lo de gemelos. Esta proyección es para mí obligatorio y también como tú busco algo que realmente de terror me convenza la historia sin importar la ficción.

Justamente anoche la vi y, si soy sincero, no me satisfizo totalmente. Me quedo con la banda sonora como recuerdo positivo.
Pero de todos modos sí te felicito y agradezco esta reseña que nos regalas y seguramente motivará a muchos a verla y disfrutarla en función de sus gustos y expectativas.
