Today we review "Predestination".
You may have noticed a pattern that I have been reviewing a lot of sci-fi movies lately. So another movie for you to check out this weekend.
This movie has a background. The movie is based on one of the short novel named "All you zombies". It works on the concept that there are Time envelopes which are like loop. And for specific set of universe, that loop repeats in and out again and again. This is all you need to know to understand this movie. Note that this is not a spoiler but more or a pointer to help you understand this movie. If you don't get this part, you wont get the rest of the movie.

The moment you see the trailer, you will realize that this is a small budget movie yet it is very powerful in concept. And even more so, it is powerful in the context of the execution. Nowhere you put yourself into finding flaws. You move ahead with the story as it flows which is pretty much the strong point of the movie.
Let's review the movie in parts.
Actors & Acting
Ethan hawke and Sarah Snook. These two are the one who pretty much run the movie. Everything moves around them. And what that everything is, you will find out at the end of the movie. Till that point, each one of them has done pretty good acting and overall execution of the plot. I have found out that predestination has pretty much matured actors movie. They wont disappoint you with youtube like acting. Here you get pretty much serious flow in their acting.

Concept
The movie is based on the Time travel as I mentioned earlier. The movie starts with simple scenario in the bar where one guy comes to ask for the drink. And then it begins with the backstories and the other narration. Each of that part is executed with precision. I can't fault that at all. The whole stuff the way concept moves from one room to another and goes back and forth. That would definitely keep you handing. It will make you wonder what is going on around the actors and the overall plot of the movie.
There are very few stories out there that would make you think. And there are even lesser stories that are aligning with the scientific theories. So you would definitely find yourself closer with the concept this way.
Execution
As I already mentioned there is absolutely no doubt in the way acting has any flaws. Ethan and Sarah both have done their part the perfect justice. You would love them for this level of acting. Time travellers organization aka temporal agency and their leaders and execution and control of the scenarios. That sort of minute details they have planned would make you think twice when the movie ends.

Soundtrack also does the justice for the movie. I'd say the sound appears at the right points. And you would kind of get into the flow of the story or say movie this way.
Best Part
The story has a lot of best part worth watching.
- Backstory. It completes the real loop.
- Soundtrack. I loved the ending soundtrack. I so loved it.
- Execution of the movie.
And then there are some of the parts which you may find a bit odd and may or may not like it.
Worst Parts
So here are some of the parts that you would find a bit odd.
- Some parts needed a bit more depth in story.
- Conversion of sarah snook have few gaps too in makeup.
So should you watch this movie? Yes. Definitely go ahead and watch it. You would love it if you are into the time travel movies. It would blow your mind and you would love the way story flows and left you at the end. In short go for it.
