Hello my dear friends of HIVE, welcome to my personal section to share my recommendations of movies and TV series, as a review for those who want to look directly for the best, or the worst (depending on your tastes), although I hope to always leave the best recommendations for you to enjoy.
Hola mis queridos amigos de HIVE, bienvenidos a mi sección personal para compartir mis recomendaciones de películas y series de televisión, a manera de reseña para quienes deseen buscar directamente lo mejor, o lo peor (dependiendo de sus gustos), aunque espero dejarles siempre las mejores recomendaciones para que disfruten.
Even if she is toxic you will always come back again and again 😄. So is my story with this series of which I had already done a review of its first season, and well is that I have a toxic relationship with it, that kind of relationship of love and dislike because at the end of the day there is always something that leads you to continue watching it.
Aunque ella sea tóxica siempre vas a volver una y otra vez 😄. Así es mi historia con esta serie de la cual ya había hecho una reseña de su primera temporada, y pues es que tengo una relación tóxica con ella, ese tipo de relación de amor y desamor por que al fin y al cabo siempre hay algo que te lleva a seguir viéndola.
After the revolutionary/democratic events occurred in the Snowpiercer, all this commanded by Layton (the detective Bob Marley), for the control of all the cars, successfully achieving the mission since they get rid of those who had them subdued, in this case the billionaires of the first class. But almost without realizing it, the great Big Allen train, commanded by Mr. Wilford (who we can finally see and to our surprise, is Lord Stark).
Tras los eventos revolucionarios/democráticos ocurridos en el Snowpiercer, todo esto comandado por Layton (el detective Bob Marley), por el control de todos los vagones, logrando con éxito la misión ya que se deshacen de quienes los tenían sometidos, en este caso los multimillonarios de la primera clase. Pero casi sin percatarse, el gran tren Big Allen, comandado por el Sr. Wilford (quien por fin podemos ver y para sorpresa nuestra, es Lord Stark).
The series is a great chilling mirror of what humanity is today, giving us some reflections of what could be in the future due to human actions and consequences, showing us a totally frozen place where the cold is capable of killing you in seconds, the only survivors being the crew of the Snowpiercer and the Big Alice, which at the end of season 1 and at the beginning of season 2 we realize that the Big Alice connects with the Snowpiercer, thus forming a single locomotive with even more cars (without the possibility of going outside because of the tremendous cold).
La serie es un gran espejo escalofriante de lo que es la humanidad actualmente, dándonos unos reflejos de lo que podría ser en un futuro debido a las acciones y consecuencias humanas, mostrándonos un lugar totalmente congelado donde el frío es capaz de matarte en segundos, siendo los únicos sobrevivientes los tripulantes del Snowpiercer y el Big Alice, que al finalizar la temporada 1 y al iniciar la 2da nos damos cuenta que el Big Alice se conecta con el Snowpiercer, formando así una sola locomotora con aún más vagones (sin posibilidad de salir al exterior por el tremendo frío).
In this season we are introduced to a new plot: global warming is happening. The engineers of the locomotive, the only engineers capable of operating this great machine, devise a plan to corroborate that in reality the temperature of the planet is rising, thus having a hope that what happened before with those nuclear tests that almost completely extinguished humanity, is finally reversing. In this way the engineer Melanie (who previously posed as Mr. Wilford), is the one who has the courage to go outside, with a special suit, to measure the temperature of the atmosphere, thanks to small hot air balloons that rise to a certain altitude and these send all the information to the engineer, all this to assemble a weather model, and to see if it is possible to recolonize the planet.
En esta temporada nos introducen una nueva trama: el calentamiento global esta sucediendo. Los Ingenieros de la locomotora, los únicos ingenieros capaces de operar esta gran máquina, idean un plan para poder corroborar que en realidad la temperatura del planeta esta subiendo, teniendo así una esperanza de que lo sucedido anteriormente con esas pruebas nucleares que extinguieron casi completamente la humanidad, se este revirtiendo por fin. De este modo la Ingeniero Melanie (que antes se hacía pasar por el Sr Wilford), es la que tiene el coraje para salir al exterior, con un traje especial, para poder medir la temperatura de la atmosfera, gracias a pequeños globos aerostáticos que suben cierta altitud y estos le envían toda la información a la ingeniero, todo esto para armar un modelo meteorológico, y poder comprobar si es posible la recolonización en el planeta
It should be noted that this season is better worked than the previous one, both in special effects and in the script, it feels that everything is more coordinated and that all (or most) of the characters have an important role in this locomotive of madness. Continuing with the plot, Wilford having control of the locomotive (although the Big Alice is independent of the Snowpiercer, this one has more thrust so that practically this man has total control), does his best to make the crew think that he is the good guy of the movie and wants to save them all, when the truth is different.
Cabe destacar que esta temporada esta mejor trabajada que la anterior, tanto en efectos especiales con en el guion, se siente que todo esta mas coordinado y que todos (o la mayoría) de los personajes tienen una labor importante en esta locomotora de la locura. Continuando con la trama, Wilford al tener el control de la locomotora (aunque la Big Alice sea independiente del Snowpiercer, esta tiene mayor empuje por lo que prácticamente este hombre tiene el control total), hace de las suyas para que la tripulación piense que el es el tipo bueno de la película y quiere salvarlos a todos, cuando la verdad es otra.
Sean Bean's performance as Mr. Wilford is quite good, much better than the one in the 2014 movie; here we are shown a Wilford who can't control his emotions, he is a psychopath with style (as far as clothes and way of being are concerned), scenes are shown where he does such bizarre and crazy things that makes the series have a better content, putting us characters with different psychological profiles.
La actuación de Sean Bean como el Sr. Wilford es bastante buena, mucho mejor que el de la película del 2014; aquí se nos muestra un Wilford que no puede controlar sus emociones, es un psicópata con estilo (a lo que respecta la vestimenta y la forma de ser), se muestran escenas donde hace cosas tan bizarras y locas que hace que la serie tenga un mejor contenido, metiéndonos personajes con distintos perfiles psicológicos.
There are no longer 1,001 cars, with the addition of Big Alice we reach 1,034 cars long, and this number is engraved in my head because it is always repeated in the introduction, which this time is much longer than in season 1 😄. Here we can better understand why Melanie was pretending to be Wilford, and they show us the first implementation of the Snowpiercer and everything that happened for the enmity between the protagonists to exist. In addition, we appreciate a little better how the world was left after its freezing.
Ya no son 1.001 vagones, con la incorporación del Big Alice llegamos a los 1.034 vagones de largo, y es que este número me quedo grabado en mi cabeza ya que siempre lo repiten en la introducción, que esta vez es mucho mas larga que la de la temporada 1 😄. Aquí podemos entender mejor el porque Melanie se hacía pasar por Wilford, y nos muestran la primera puesta en marcha del Snowpiercer y todo lo que aconteció para que existiera la enemistad entre los protagonistas. Además, apreciamos un poco mejor como quedó el mundo tras su congelamiento.
But well, the important thing is that the series achieves its goal, to entertain us, although the real action starts from the 2nd half of the season, giving us an open season ending for a third one, where I have faith that it will be better than the previous two, so we will be here to give you the review.
Pero bueno, lo importante es que la serie logra su cometido, entretenernos, aunque la verdadera acción empieza desde la 2da mitad de la temporada, dándonos un final de temporada abierto a una tercera, donde tengo fe de que será mejor que las dos anteriores, así por aquí estaremos para darles la reseña.
PS: The redhead girl (LJ Folger) is the most obnoxious and uncool character of the whole series, I really dislike this girl, those who saw her will understand me.
PD: La chica pelirroja (LJ Folger) es el personaje mas odioso y mala onda de toda la serie, en verdad, me cae muy mal esta chica, los que la vieron me entenderán.

Yo no he querido verla. La película si me gusto mucho, pero la serie no me convenció ni el trailer. Voy a esperar, no se si la van a renovar o ya la cancelaron. en caso de que le den un final digno, si me dispondré a verla completa. Ese es otro motivo , el peligro de que la cancelen sin tener un final. Mejor espero.
Sinceramente la primera temporada fue algo tediosa, un poco lenta, pero esta segundo mejoraron, se puede notar un mejor trabajo, solo que algunos personajes son algo inútiles por así decirlo, pero el que salva la trama es el gran Lord Stark 😅. Esperare la 3era con fe de que sea mucho mejor. Gracias por su comentario amigo.
I'm kind of surprised it ended up having a season 2 since the first season didn't do so well as far as viewership is concerned. I lost interest about 4 episodes in (in S1) but maybe it is just my lack of attention span :)
It's not really a memorable series, but I took the time to pay attention and look at the details, leaving aside some things, it's really good. Thank you for your comment.
