La verdad es que tengo que confesar que a pesar de que “The Addams Family” es un clásico de la pantalla, yo nunca había visto una de sus películas, así que al ver esta nueva película me di cuenta del gran error que había hecho al no atreverme a verlos antes, pues su trama ofrece mucho desde escenas sombrías hasta ese toque de comedia que me sacó más de una risa (el tío Fester es muy gracioso). La Familia Addams hizo regreso de manera triunfal y conmovió a muchos de los que crecieron viéndolos en la TV, y no se dejen engañar, no crean que por ser una película animada con una animación un poco infantil sea solo para niños, no, este film está hecho para que lo disfruten todos.

Pero Margaux descubre que la tenebrosa Mansión de los Addams se ve desde el pueblo, lo cual resulta desagradable y grotesco para los pobladores, viendo que esto amenaza su proyecto, Margaux se ve forzada a ir hasta la mansión para ofrecerles a los Addams remodelarla, los cuales se niegan rotundamente, ya que se rehúsan a dejar su estilo oscuro por uno colorido y alegre. En vista a la negación de la familia, Margaux busca una manera de deshacerse de lo Addams y empieza difamarlos por la red social del pueblo lo que causa que los habitantes del poblado generen repulsión hacia la familia y entonces los Addams temen a que se vuelva a producir lo que paso en su antiguo hogar, donde fueron expulsados y perseguidos por los habitantes del pueblo.
Hasta aquí les contare acerca de la trama, me reservo muchas cosas que aunque quisiera describírselas, no sabría como, esos pequeños detalles que es mejor verlos por uno mismo, como lo son esas escenas de humor que en las películas de comedia negra sobrenatural son muy propias, unas de esas escenas es cuando Wednesday, que como antes dije tiene una mente perversa, le dice a Pugsley que lo ayudara con la preparación de la Mazurca, pero en realidad le juega una broma y lo termina lapidándolo vivo, es una escena para morir de risas, y así hay muchas. Otra cosa que se destaca es la muy peculiar manera de ser de la Familia Addams, ellos son lo contrario de las personas normales, lo que para nosotros es tétrico o de mal gusto, para ellos es perfecto y así mismo con lo que nosotros vemos bonito o agradable, para ellos es horroroso, pero esto no quiere decir que sea una mala familia, al contrario, son muy unidos y se apoyan entre todos, aunque nunca falta una que otra travesura entre ellos como la de Wednesday a Pugsley XD.

Este film es una historia renovada, pero sigue con la esencia de la Familia Addams y se añadió ese toque contemporaneo para el agrado de la nueva generación y hacer que la familia Addams también entre en sus corazones, y no solo le agradará a la nueva generación, sino a todos. Uno de los fuertes de la película es la manera en que cada personaje está bien recreado y se cautivarán al verlos.
De más está decir que me encantó la película y espero con ansias la secuela, la cual se anunció que se estrenará el 22 de Octubre de este mismo año.
