Resumen
Luego de eso vemos en Grecia, 25 años antes de ese suceso vemos como Michael Morbius cuando es un niño enfermo y conoce a un nuevo compañero llamado Lucius que terminan haciéndose amigos, este le pone el apodo de Milo porque todos los que terminaban en esa camilla con él normalmente terminaban muriendo le habla de que no se curan es porque les falta algo en su ADN y no han encontrado la cura aun, afuera de esa institución médica hay un colegio el cual hay niños afuera que se burlan de los niños que están adentro. (Cosa que es bastante insensible de parte de los niños) en una de esas mientras ellos hablan, Milo se descompensa y vemos como Michael lo salva arreglando la máquina de transfusión de sangre y el doctor a su cuidado, luego de ver eso queda impresionado y le consigue que entre a una escuela de niños superdotados. Cuando Michael se va le deja una carta a Milo, pero este luego de leerla se le sale por la ventana y al irla a buscar es golpeado por los niños de colegio que se la pasan burlándose de ellos, hasta que se ve una reacción violenta de Milo ante todo eso.
Al ser notificado Michael vuelve a ver el estado de su amigo y el doctor le explica que él lo cuidara, que no tiene que preocuparse por eso, en la siguiente escena vemos como Michael Morbius gana un premio por su desarrollo de la sangre artificial entregado por el Rey de Suecia.
Luego pasan a un laboratorio donde tienen varios pacientes y él tiene una colega de trabajo que le critica que rechazo el premio nobel, para luego hablarle de los experimentos que anda haciendo y vemos los murciélagos vampiros del principio en una especie de vidriera Morbius le explica que son los mamíferos que han evolucionado para alimentarse exclusivamente de sangre, la doctora lo que le entiende es que Morbius quiere fusionar ADN de vampiro con el ADN de él esperando que funcione como cura luego de hacer unas pruebas se lo inyectan a un ratón de laboratorio este se le ve que se muere luego de eso una paciente se ve que necesita ayuda y salen a resolver el problema a lo que lo hacen se dan cuenta de que si funciono la medicina que le colocaron al ratón de laboratorio, ya que al final no murió. Lo siguiente es que vemos a Morbius reuniéndose con Milo y el Doctor que los crio, luego Morbius sale con Milo a caminar y le comenta sobre el experimento que está haciendo para hallar una cura, le cuenta lo peligroso que puede ser.
Pasan a estar en Aguas Internacionales para realizar sus experimentos ilegales, donde se encuentra Morbius y la Doctora como su ayudante, proceden a hacer nuevas pruebas a la medicina, pero con ADN humano y salen totalmente estables, para luego la Doctora probar la medicina con Michael Morbius dejándolo solo en una sala de observación, atado completamente a la camilla. Mientras observa desde afuera para que luego llegue uno de los mercenarios que protegen el barco a intentar ligar con la Doctora, pero esta le dice sus cosas, pero al momento Morbius comienza a convulsionar en la sala alterándose y comenzando una transformación el mercenario que está cerca pide refuerzos y la Doctora pide que no disparen, pero uno de los guardias la empuja y queda inconsciente al entrar a la sala de observación Morbius lo asesina a cada uno de ellos habiendo una escena de acción llamativa luego de drenar la sangre de cada uno de los mercenarios Morbius vuelve a estar consciente y nota las mejoras en su cuerpo, luego llega a preocuparse por la Doctora y hace un llamado de emergencia para luego huir del barco.
Así pasamos a ver al FBI investigando lo sucedido en el barco para abrir una investigación a lo sucedido, al ver lo que ocurre con Morbius de la dependencia que está teniendo con las ansias de consumir sangre él hace pruebas usando sangre artificial para ver cuánto dura su estado de normalidad, mira lo que puede hacer con su cuerpo y el cómo se siente bien, nota sus nuevas habilidades y que los vampiros lo ven como un hermano no lo atacan, hasta que hace una última prueba que es dejar de consumir sangre para ver que ocurría y se comienza a transformar en un monstruo teniendo su cuerpo una fuerte necesidad de consumir sangre piensa lo peligroso que es lo que hizo, que no puede volver a ocurrir lo que hizo en el barco tras ya estar por consumirse por sus ansias hasta que llega Milo y le pasa una bolsa de sangre artificial.
Milo le pregunta que ocurrió y este de Morbius le dice que encontró la cura, pero es una maldición y que no se la puede dar, que es un error, Milo se molesta porque cree que está siendo egoísta y este de Morbius lo ahuyenta saliendo Milo del laboratorio donde se encontraban.
Después vemos a los del FBI visitando a la Doctora en el hospital que se está recuperando del golpe que la hizo perder la conciencia, le pregunta sobre Morbius si se encontraba en la escena y la Doctora evade las preguntas.
Vemos una escena donde una enfermera que está de guardia empieza a huir de alguien que la está asechando hasta que es atacada con violencia y termina muerta en el piso, la mañana siguiente ven lo sucedido, casualmente Morbius fue al laboratorio para conseguir sangre artificial y ve la escena de la enfermera muerta al intentar salir los del FBI lo tratan de entrevistar y entra en pánico tratando de huir por arriba del edificio, pero es atrapado por el FBI.
Tenemos una escena con Morbius esposado en una sala siendo entrevistado por el FBI los cuales lo culpan de los asesinatos y que explique que está ocurriendo, él le trata de explicar y muestra que ya está necesitando su dosis de sangre y le pide a ellos que se la traigan, hacen caso omiso a su petición y lo meten en la celda, cuya es visitada por Milo que le lleva una bolsa de sangre le trata de convencer de que no es una maldición y que trate de aceptarse al irse Milo se va caminando como si nada, dándole a entender a Morbius que Milo tomo la medicina convirtiéndolo a él en un monstruo como Morbius este luego de tomar la sangre escapa de la prisión en busca de Milo.
Donde lo encuentra asesinando a personas que tienen desacuerdos con él, Morbius empieza a discutir con Milo y terminan peleando, yendo por un Metro dando pelea mientras la policía empiezan a seguirlos, en un momento Milo los mata a todos. (Las escenas son grandiosas Milo demostrando todo el poder que obtuvo con un carisma destacable) Morbius se ve acorralado a lo fuerte que es Milo y termina aprendiendo a volar con las corrientes de viento para terminar huyendo por un túnel del metro, lo siguiente vemos a Milo vigilando a la Doctora en esa noche.
Luego Morbius al siguiente día contacta a la Doctora mediante que se encontraba en un bus y quedan para hablar de lo sucedido, para que lo ayude a derrotar a detener a Milo, luego como no tiene laboratorio donde entrar casualmente ve en la tienda donde se encontraba hablando con la Doctora dos mulas (vendedores de droga) y decide seguirlos hasta su laboratorio donde los saca a la fuerza para poder hacer los experimentos allí.
Asimismo, Milo intimida a la Doctora cuando se encuentra a solas y le pregunta sobre Morbius planteándole que lo ayude a encontrarlo, que él hará que entre en razón y se acepte a sí mismo.
Después de esa charla vemos a la Doctora en un refugio con Morbius donde conversan y terminan besándose en la terraza donde se encontraban y a la distancia se ve como Milo lo está vigilando, ya que este siguió a la Doctora.
En otro momento vemos al Doctor que crio a Milo y a Morbius visitar a Milo en su departamento luego de que vio en las noticias como ya es culpado de los asesinatos a personas, porque fue grabado por cámaras de seguridad, el Doctor tras intentar convencerlo de que no siga haciendo lo que hace que lo va a ayudar a curarse y comenzar desde cero Milo lo deja herido diciendo que le deje un mensaje a Morbius.
Morbius recibe una llamada de auxilio de parte del Doctor que lo crio y sale en su ayuda del refugio, al llegar el Doctor le dice que tiene que detener a Milo y en eso escucha con su sonar que Milo está torturando a la Doctora, al llegar la Doctora está convaleciente y decide que Morbius la drene para que tenga energías para combatir contra Milo, llegando así la batalla final donde Morbius se enfrenta a Milo (Dato que se me olvido mencionar antes la Doctora y Morbius hallaron la cura al vampirismo la cual mata también al portador).
En el enfrentamiento final vemos cómo van destrozando zonas de la ciudad hasta caer en unas ruinas de metro, donde Michael se comunica con murciélagos para que lo ayuden a derrotar a Milo y lucha de esa forma usando a tantos murciélagos como le es posible para así inyectarle la cura a Milo, al final llamándole por su verdadero nombre Lucius logrando derrotarlo por completo luego los del FBI llegan a la escena y Michael Morbius se va volando conjunto a los murciélagos viendo a la distancia a la difunta Doctora y allí se termina la película.
En el Post-Creditos vemos como Buitre, uno de los villanos de Spider-man se reúne con Morbius para aliarse contra Spider-man.
Opinión
Morbius está decente tiene una trama normal para mí mejor que algunas películas que ha sacado el UCM está por lo menos te entretiene con sus escenas de acción además no se complica en tener una trama muy elaborada es una historia de origen sencilla.
Por lo menos veo el plan de Sony con su universo de Venom es que tratan de hacer las películas simples de digerir sin nada rebuscado para mí está bien la idea.
A nivel actoral Jared Leto actúa bien, pero para mí se destaca más Matt Smith se nota una experiencia actoral.
Bueno espero que este resumen les haya dado ganas de ir a verla o de estar al tanto de lo que sucedió en esta película.
Summary
After that, we see in Greece, 25 years before that event we see how Michael Morbius when he is a sick child and meets a new companion named Lucius who end up becoming friends, he gives him the nickname Milo because all those who ended up on that stretcher with him usually ended up dying tells him that they are not cured it is because they lack something in their DNA and have not found the cure yet, outside that medical institution there is a school where there are children outside who make fun of the children inside. When he is notified Michael sees the state of his friend again and the doctor explains that he will take care of him, that he does not have to worry about it, in the next scene we see how Michael Morbius wins an award for his development of artificial blood delivered by the King of Sweden.
Then they go to a laboratory where they have several patients and he has a work colleague who criticizes him who rejecting the Nobel Prize and then tell him about the experiments he is doing and we see the vampire bats of the beginning in a kind of stained glass Window Morbius explains that they are the mammals that have evolved to feed exclusively on blood, the doctor what she understands is that Morbius wants to fuse vampire DNA with his DNA hoping that it works as a cure after doing some tests they inject it into a laboratory mouse this is seen to die after that a patient is seen to need help and go out to solve the problem to what they do they realize that if the medicine worked that they placed the lab mouse, since, in the end, he did not die. The next thing is that we see Morbius meeting with Milo and the Doctor who raised them, then Morbius goes out with Milo to walk and tells him about the experiment he is doing to find a cure, tells him how dangerous it can be.
They happen to be in International Waters to carry out their illegal experiments, where Morbius and the Doctor are found as his assistant, they proceed to do new tests on the medicine, but with human DNA and they come out totally stable, and then the Doctor tests the medicine with Michael Morbius leaving him alone in an observation room, completely tied to the stretcher. While watching from the outside later one of the mercenaries who protect the ship arrives to try to flirt with the Doctor, but she tells him her things, but at that moment Morbius begins to convulse in the room altering and starting a transformation the mercenary who is nearby asking for reinforcements and the Doctor asks that they not shoot, but one of the guards pushes her and is unconscious when entering the observation room Morbius murders each of them having a striking action scene after draining the blood of each of the mercenaries Morbius becomes conscious again and notices the improvements in his body, then he becomes concerned about the Doctor and makes an emergency call to then flee the ship.
So we went on to see the FBI investigating what happened on the ship to open an investigation into what happened, seeing what happens with Morbius of the dependence he is having with the desire to consume blood he does tests using artificial blood to see how long his state of normality lasts, see what he can do with his body and how he feels good, notices his new abilities and that the vampires see him as a brother do not attack him until he makes the last test that is to stop consuming blood to see what happened and begins to transform into a monster having his body a strong need to consume blood thinks how dangerous it is what he did, that what he did on the boat cannot happen again after already being consumed by his cravings until Milo arrives and passes him a bag of artificial blood.
Milo asks him what happened and this one from Morbius tells him that he found the cure, but it is a curse and that he can not give it, which is a mistake, Milo is upset because he believes that he is being selfish and this one of Morbius scares him away leaving Milo from the laboratory where they were.
Then we see the FBI visiting the Doctor in the hospital who is recovering from the blow that made her lose consciousness, asking her about Morbius if she was at the scene and the Doctor evades the questions.
We see a scene where a nurse who is on duty begins to flee from someone who is stalking her until she is violently attacked and ends up dead on the floor, the next morning they see what happened, coincidentally Morbius went to the laboratory to get artificial blood and sees the scene of the dead nurse when trying to leave the FBI to try to interview him and panics trying to flee above the building, but he is caught by the FBI.
We have a scene with Morbius handcuffed in a room being interviewed by the FBI who blame him for the murders and explain what is happening, he tries to explain and shows that he is already in need of his dose of blood and asks them to bring it to him, they ignore his request and put him in the cell, who is visited by Milo who brings him a bag of blood tries to convince him that it is not a curse and try to accept himself when he leaves Milo walks away as if nothing, implying to Morbius that Milo took the medicine turning him into a monster like Morbius this after taking the blood escapes from prison in search of Milo.
When he finds him murdering people who have disagreements with him, Morbius begins to argue with Milo and they end up fighting, going for a Metro fighting while the police begin to follow them, at one point Milo kills them all. (The scenes are great Milo demonstrating all the power he gained with remarkable charisma) Morbius is cornered by how strong Milo is and ends up learning to fly with the wind currents to end up fleeing through a subway tunnel, the next thing we see is Milo watching the Doctor on that night.
Then Morbius the next day contacts the Doctor through that he was on a bus and they meet to talk about what happened, to help him defeat Milo, then as he has no laboratory to enter casually he sees in the store where he was talking to the Doctor two mules (drug sellers) and decides to follow them to his laboratory where he forcibly takes them out to be able to do the experiments there.
Likewise, Milo intimidates the Doctor when he is alone and asks her about Morbius asking her to help him find him, that he will make him come to his senses and accept himself.
After that talk, we see the Doctor in a shelter with Morbius where they talk and end up kissing on the terrace where they were, and in the distance, it is seen how Milo is watching him since he followed the Doctor.
At another time we see the Doctor who raised Milo and Morbius visit, Milo, in his apartment after he saw on the news how he is already blamed for the murders of people because he was recorded by security cameras, the Doctor after trying to convince him not to continue doing what he does that will help him heal and start from scratch Milo leaves him injured saying to leave him a message to Morbius.
Morbius receives a call for help from the Doctor who raised him and comes to his aid from the shelter, when he arrives the Doctor tells him that he has to stop Milo and in that he hears with his sound that Milo is torturing the Doctor, when the Doctor arrives he is convalescing and decides that Morbius drains her so that he has the energy to fight against Milo, thus arriving the final battle where Morbius faces Milo (Fact that I forgot to mention before the Doctor and Morbius found the cure to vampirism which also kills the bearer).
In the final confrontation, we see how they destroy areas of the city until they fall into some subway ruins, where Michael communicates with bats to help him defeat Milo and fights in that way using as many bats as possible to inject the cure into Milo, at the end calling him by his real name Lucius managing to defeat him completely then the FBI arrive at the scene and Michael Morbius flies away with the bats watching the late Doctor in the distance and there the film ends.
In the Post-Credits we see how Vulture, one of the villains of Spider-man reunites with Morbius to ally against Spider-man.
Opinion
Morbius is decent and has a normal plot for me better than some films that the UCM has released is at least entertains you with its action scenes and also does not complicate in having a very elaborate plot is a simple origin story.
At least I see Sony's plan with its Venom universe is that they try to make the movie's simple to digest without anything far-fetched for me is fine the idea.
On an acting level, Jared Leto acts well, but for me, Matt Smith stands out more, you can see an acting experience.

What a coincidence, I’m watching this movie right now and I have to say that it’s not at all what I expected of the MCU after seeing the trailer. The plot is simple but there is a lot that could have been done better.
