This is League of Movies third Edition in week 04 with a mind-blowing theme, there are a number of movies that force me to think hard about the storyline, which is a bit confusing, so it takes a few times to watch it again, and this time my choice is "Shutter Island".

I first watched this movie in 2011 ago, but a few years later this movie was often watched again to treat my curiosity which was confused with the storyline.

Yes, until now I am still confused, this movie, starring Leonardi Di Caprio, seems to create a double ending. The storyline is still a lot of debate.

Even so, Shutter Island is one of the 20 best films that need to be watched in 2010 according to my friends in Indonesia.

Shutter Island is a thriller genre that was released on February 19, 2010, directed by Martin Scorsese. Based on the book titled Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane, the rewriting of the film script was done by Laeta Kalogridis.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Emily Mortimer, Patricia Clarkson, and Max von Sydow.

Shutter Island tells the story of Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), two members of the U.S Marshal who were sent to an island in the Massachusetts area called Shutter Island to investigate the disappearance of a woman named Rachel Solando (Emily Mortimer).

Shutter Island is an island that is useful to be a special hospital treating prisoners suffering from psychiatric disorders. Before disappearing, Rachel had left a message written about 67 patients, Teddy felt the message was important evidence of this case. From here on, the puzzle in this movie begins, I am increasingly curious as I continue to watch it.

Apparently, the mental hospital there seemed to cover up the case and refused to provide assistance to Teddy. In this scene, I am increasingly curious about this movie, as if it does have two stories in one movie.

When Teddy felt suspicious that the hospital was involved in a case and did not want Rachel to be found because it would reveal something that had long been hidden. However, the problem is getting bigger, when Teddy is considered to be someone else who has an alter-ego and is a patient from the mental hospital, very confusing right? Synopsis

Until now I still assume this movie with the story of Teddy is Andrew Laeddis, Teddy is Marshall tough and famously cruel. Teddy's wife, Dolores, indeed killed their child and drowned his three children in the lake. One of the names of Teddy's children who were victims was Rachel. Teddy was arrested and put into Shutter Island Mental Hospital and had been there 24 months. Chuck is Dr. Sheehan's proof that he cannot take weapons at the beginning of the movie.

Whereas the second version in my opinion is Teddy No Mad and the Mental Hospital parties are Criminals. Teddy is indeed Marshall Teddy Daniel, Teddy's wife, Dolores did not kill their child. Teddy's wife died in an apartment which was set on fire by a man named Andrew Laeddis. Teddy does not have children, Teddy to the mental hospital aims to dismantle the practice of hidden crime.

Teddy was defeated from the start, the Hospital Party managed to train Teddy. Teddy from the beginning he was framed by the mental hospital, the first through his partner, Chuck, and then by the mental hospital directly through drugs such as aspirin, cigarettes, beverages, etc. George Noyce is real, he knows that Teddy is alone and knows Chuck is a mental hospital. Teddy who was already trapped ended up often having hallucinations and delusions like when he saw rats on the edge of a cliff.

At the end of the story, Teddy was finally executed. But the real question is, is Teddy really crazy? Teddy had previously claimed that he deliberately created the figure of Andrew Laeddis to blame for his wife's death, but finally, he claimed that he was Andrew.

But when the end of the story asks something and after Teddy answers, Chuck shakes his head sign that Teddy has not succeeded, they brainwash to be Andrew and must immediately in Lobotomy, but in the ending Teddy asks, "This place makes me worry. Which is better, living as a monster or die as an honorable person? "

Instantly Teddy stood up and walked, Chuck with a surprised look to call "Teddy". Why does Chuck call by the name Teddy? Why not Andrew? Because at that moment Chuck realized that Teddy knew everything. But Teddy who understood the game finally realized that he had lost, and then resigned, he realized that he could not get out of the island.

I realize there are still many facts that have not been disclosed above but apart from all this, we should admit that Shutter Island is a smart movie that makes us think and grope what really happened. Well, if you are curious about this movie, here is the trailer.
