¡Hola amigos! En el día de hoy vengo a hablarles sobre la serie Percy Jackson y los dioses del Olimpo que tuve el gusto de terminar el fin de semana y ya les adelanto que me encantó.
Hello friends! Today I'm here to tell you about the Percy Jackson and The Olimpians series that I had the pleasure of finishing over the weekend and I'm telling you that I loved it.

Percy es un niño de 12 que siempre se sintió diferente al resto, su madre solía contarle historias sobre los dioses griegos y la mitología, hasta que un día descubre que es un semidiós y que todas estas historias eran reales. Al mismo momento que se entera de su identidad es atacado por poderosos monstruos y en el trayecto hacia el campamento mestizo donde estará a salvo, pierde a su madre. Allí es informado de todo y empieza su entrenamiento de mestizo, pero Percy quiere saber qué pasó con su madre y cuál será el Dios que lo reclamé como su hijo. Sin embargo, las cosas no son tan simples, Zeus lo acusa de haberle robado su rayo maestro y planea una guerra contra su padre si no lo devuelve. Así que ahora Percy deberá resolver el misterio del rayo, pelear contra peligrosas criaturas de un mundo que le es extraño y familiar a la vez, recuperar a su madre y evitar la guerra entre dioses.
Percy is a 12 year old boy who always felt different from the rest, his mother used to tell him stories about Greek gods and mythology, until one day he discovers that he is a demigod and that all these stories were real. At the same moment he learns his identity he is attacked by powerful monsters and on the way to the half-breed camp where he will be safe, he loses his mother. There he is informed of everything and begins his half-breed training, but Percy wants to know what happened to his mother and which God will claim him as her son. However, things are not so simple, Zeus accuses him of having stolen his master ray and plans a war against his father if he does not return it. So now Percy must solve the mystery of the lightning, fight against dangerous creatures of a world that is strange and familiar at the same time, recover his mother and avoid the war between gods.

Mi niña interna amante de la mitología adoro esta serie, no tuve el placer de leer los libros aunque siempre me dieron curiosidad, pero hay sagas que deje pasar porque ya tenía muchas obsesiones con libros en mi adolescencia jajajaja. Ver esta serie renovó mi espíritu de querer leerlos, así que no lo descarto. Como verán, no puedo enfocarme mucho en si es fiel como adaptación literaria, lo que sí sé es que es una muy buena serie mitológica, aunque mezcla un poco de fantasía.
My inner child mythology lover adores this series, I didn't have the pleasure of reading the books although I was always curious about them, but there are sagas that I let pass because I already had many obsessions with books in my adolescence hahahaha. Watching this series renewed my spirit of wanting to read them, so I'm not ruling it out. As you will see, I can't focus much on whether it is faithful as a literary adaptation, what I do know is that it is a very good mythological series, although it mixes a bit of fantasy.

La historia de Percy me fascinó, desde el vínculo con su madre, hasta las relaciones de amistad que fue formando en su viaje de descubrimientos. Ver a tantos dioses e historias personificados fue bastante agradable, ya que me los podía imaginar siendo de esa manera. Cada uno con sus vicios y su personalidad, algunos sentí que los caracterizaron un tanto mediocres, no eran muy imponentes, creo que ese es el único fallo, porque para mí un dios debe verse y sentirse poderoso, y no dejarse engañar por niños. Sin embargo, esto me hace pensar que también es parte de lo que buscaban, ya que hacen ver qué los dioses están lejos de ser perfectos y cometen equivocaciones como cualquier persona.
Percy's story fascinated me, from the bond with his mother, to the friendships he formed on his journey of discovery. Seeing so many gods and stories personified was quite enjoyable, as I could imagine them being that way. Each one with his vices and personality, some I felt they were characterized as somewhat mediocre, they were not very imposing, I think that's the only flaw, because for me a god should look and feel powerful, and not be fooled by children. However, this makes me think that this is also part of what they were looking for, since they make it clear that the gods are far from perfect and make mistakes just like anyone else.

Me encantó ver tanta historia mitológica cobrar vida, medusa, las moiras, las criaturas demoníacas, se vio todo bastante bonito, aunque esperaba más del Olimpo y el inframundo. Se vio un poco sin vida esto último, pero creo que puede mejorar y seguro que haya más viajes a estos lugares en futuras temporadas.
I loved seeing so much mythological history come to life, Medusa, the moiras, the demonic creatures, it all looked quite nice, although I was expecting more of Olympus and the underworld. It looked a bit lifeless the latter, but I think it can get better and for sure there will be more trips to these places in future seasons.

También encontré cierta similitud de cosas con Harry Potter, hubiera sido genial leerlo en su momento, pero creo que ahora van a volver a cobrar relevancia estos libros. Así que espero que muchos niños se embarquen en el camino de la lectura con esta saga, como muchos lo hicimos con Harry Potter, Crepúsculo y Los Juegos del Hambre en su momento.
I also found some similarity of things with Harry Potter, it would have been great to read it at the time, but I think now these books are going to become relevant again. So I hope many kids will embark on the reading journey with this saga, as many of us did with Harry Potter, Twilight and The Hunger Games back in the day.
Me gustó la historia que mostraron y contaron, me pareció entretenida, los capítulos son cortos y se puede maratonear en un día para el que quiera verla. Se puede sentir infantil de primera mano, pero pienso que a medida que crezcan los protagonistas la historia se tornará más oscura con el paso del tiempo. Me agrada que eligieran actores de la edad correspondiente y caras nuevas que observar. Ya quiero ver cómo continuará esta aventura.
I liked the story they showed and told, I found it entertaining, the chapters are short and can be marathoned in a day for those who want to watch it. It can feel childish at first hand, but I think that as the protagonists grow up the story will become darker as time goes by. I like that they chose actors of the corresponding age and new faces to watch. I already want to see how this adventure will continue.

Aún no la he visto pero me la han recomendado muchísimo la vida lo más pronto posible ya que me interesa ver cómo reiniciaron esta historia.
Creo que hicieron un buen reinicio de esta historia, al menos por lo que vi es bastante fiel a la original y sus fans están satisfechos. Por mí parte siento que fue una buena serie, entretenida y educativa también por toda la historia relativa a los dioses. Espero puedas verla! Saludos.

Hola amiga, no sabía de la existencia de esta serie y se escucha muy bien, sin duda logre ver la película de esta aventura con otros actores y es más vieja y me gusto mucho por la manera como lograron desarrollarla y darle ese toque único con los de las mitologías. Así que esta nueva adaptación la buscare y ver qué pasará en ese gran mundo, donde se puede ver?
Hola amigo, sí hicieron un reinicio de esta historia, esta vez más adaptada a lo que es la obra literaria. Estuvo bastante entretenida y educativa de ver, a mí que me gusta todo lo que es mitología logre disfrutarla mucho. La serie pertenece a Disney+, sino seguro que está en páginas de internet.
