Hey all, just found this community and wanted to post and help from now on with a series of articles about less known movies and series. I hope you enjoy this series, i will try to make it a regular thing.

We all saw a lot of movies but it is almost impossible to see everything and know all of them even with tools like IMDB. With this in mind i will leave you this 3 great movies that i think are underrated gems.

Primer

Primer is a movie from 2004 i have seen a lot of times, i was really not a fan the first few minutes, at least the first time i saw it, but the idea is witty and clever and offers a lot to link and think while watching it.

Shane Carruth is a talented guy, there are some small details i love about the movie, i like the way the sound is sometimes narrated in an almost echoed fashion, and also both main characters and actors work very well. I will not post spoilers of any kind ever. This surely is one movie you should see in case you have not. Also worth mentioning when i first watched it i could clearly see it was a cheap movie, but still this is not at all a problem, in fact it was a great surprise still many years later how you can make so much with so little. Puts to shame a lot of million costing movies with simple and well achieved ideas and executions.

Uncanny

Staring David Clayton Rogers at a great level in my opinion, Uncanny is a pretty unique movie. Like a lot of the stuff i like to watch, the story revolves around AI and human relations. I would call it a drama/mystery kind of movie genre wise.
The plot is great on this one, crafted into a movie that works a lot like an illusionist trick, without much chance most users will be drawn to an immersive experience with this movie, also one among my underrated movies list that is worth mention. Not much i can say about it without blowing it up but Clayton Rogers really nails it with his performance.

The Thirteenth Floor

The Thirteenth Floor is without a doubt one of my go to movies every time i don't know what to watch, the reason being the beautiful image and the amazing cast, with some also very underrated actors or very important support actors, this movie gathers in it, Gretchen Mol, Vincent D'Onofrio (AKA Pvt Pyle, from Kubrick's masterpiece Full Metal Jacket) and also Armin Mueller-Stahl, always a solid performer and lastly Craig Bierko at a superb level also.
Once again on this one the story revolves around, drummm role brrrr, you guessed it, AI and human relations 🤖. The movie is all in all a great experience with moments that really leave you wondering about many of the aspects of what we take for granted and real. Again i avoid any details or spoilers of any kind but this is in my must see list for a long time and i really recommended it.

Already seen any of this movies? Care to share your idea and take on it? please feel free to use the comments i will gladly answer back.
