Por fin, luego de un tiempo que fue lanzada la segunda temporada del anime Récord Ragnarok, específicamente el 14 de Abril del presente año, fue que tuve el tiempo de ver la producción, luego de quedar fascinado con la primera entrega, más allá de las críticas suscitadas entorno al anime. Lo cierto es que para esta oportunidad les traigo una reseña con mi opinión respecto a esta segunda entrega del anime, que es la adaptación del maga escrito por Takumi Fukui y Shinya Umemura e ilustrado por Chika Aji. ¿La segunda temporada de Record Ragnarok fue lo esperado?

Este es un torneo donde obviamente los humanos tienen una desventaja, ya que están luchando con dioses que poseen poderes sobrenaturales, que van más, aunque una de las cosas que más me gusta es que nos llevamos muchas sorpresas, siendo una de las mejores cosas, el giro que suele dar la historia, cuando menos nos esperamos, suceden cosas que no pensaríamos que sería así. La primera temporada de Shūmatsu no Valkyrie, como se le conoce también a Record of Ragnarok, fue muy crítica, sobre todo por aquellos que habían leído el manga y sabían lo no muy bien adaptada que estaba esta producción, sobre todo en lo que a la animación respecta. Lo es que a mí en encantó, debido a que no me había leído el manga y me enteré primero por la adaptación animada.

The first season of Shūmatsu no Valkyrie, as Record of Ragnarok is also known, was very critical, especially by those who had read the manga and knew how not very well adapted this production was, especially in terms of animation. I loved it, because I had not read the manga and I first learned about it from the animated adaptation.
The truth is that my expectations with this anime were high, I wished the day would come when I could watch it, although to be honest it took me a while due to lack of time, but finally I can do it. But to have a clearer experience, in my spare time I decided to read the manga, and clearly there is a difference between the literary material and the anime adaptation, being much better the manga. But I must say that I still like the anime a lot, it was the first one I saw and that's why I got interested in this story. As I said after watching the first installment, a fight between gods and humans? this is disproportionate, but as I continue watching the story, many of our characters that we know even from the story, are great, at least in the anime the plot makes them look like that, of course with certain modifications that we may even think are exaggerated, but it is part of the attractiveness of the story.
Una de las cosas por la que más me esperaba esta segunda temporada era por ver la pelea entre Jack el Destripador y Hércules, la verdad que me esperaba que fuese épico, como la de Zeus y Adán. La verdad es que esta me pareció que era muy buena y más con una mejorada animación con respecto a la primera temporada, ya que en esta se prometió el uso de la CGI (imágenes generadas por ordenador), la cual en teoría sería una mejora, pero lo cierto es que por momento pensé que esto fue excesivo, aunque debo confesar que no soy experto en estos temas, me concentro más en la historia, que si esto me atrapa o no, más allá que en los detalles técnicos, claro que una buena animación es esperada. Lo que si les puedo decir es que esta segunda temporada de Record Ragnarok está mucho mejor adaptada, con respecto al manga, que la primera temporada, lo cual me parece que es un punto a su favor.

Lo cierto es que la trama está mucho más fiel al manga, se muestro mucho más de las historia de los personajes, ya que algunas habían sido eliminadas de la primero temporada, lo que no me había dado cuenta ya que nunca había leído la serie escrito, pero lo que no quiere decir que hay dejado de gustarme la adaptación animada, porque más allá de las críticas su historia me gusta, me atrapa, sobre todo las peleas, más allá de las animaciones pueden ser muy toscas por momentos, incluso con la animación encargada por parte del estudio Graphinica. Lo más rescatable de la animación es la pelea entre Hércules y Jack, sobre todo por el uso de la CGI como ya les había mencionado, que le dio una gran mejora a la visual del anime, aunque luego las demás peleas fue más de lo mismo, en cuanto a la mala animación.

The most remarkable part of the animation is the fight between Hercules and Jack, especially for the use of CGI as I had already mentioned, which gave a great improvement to the visuals of the anime, but then the other fights were more of the same, in terms of bad animation.
La segunda temporada de Record Ragnarok nos deja grandes peleas que llegamos a disfrutar, sobre todo la primera entre Hércules y Jack el destripador, sin menospreciar las demás que nos presentan en esta última temporada que se nos presentó de la serie animada. Algo que siempre he llegado a destacar, al igual que la primera temporada, es que siempre es grato conocer de la historia de nuestros personajes, porque llegaron a ser lo que son. Este último punto es del más positivo del anime. Algo que me gusta de la plataforma Netflix es que saca todos los capítulos al instante y no hay que esperar cada semana para ver un nuevo capítulo. Pero no todo es bueno y que 10 capítulos me parecen muy pocos, quede con ganas de ver más y esto es porque el anime capturo mi atención desde el primer momento en ver el capítulo 1 de la primera temporada. Jamás pensé que el anime me llegará a gustar tanto.

¿La segunda temporada de Record Ragnarok fue lo esperado? La verdad que Record Ragnarok ha quedado entre mis animes favoritos, al menos de los más reciente, ya que tiene una historia que cautivas, la lucha de la humanidad contra los dioses para su superviviencia, donde incluso vemos muchas sorpresas, que no se las voy a comentar para no arruinar su experiencia si en algún momento quieren ver esta gran historia. Lo cierto es que la segunda temporada de este anime si fue lo que yo en lo personal me esperaba, tal vez no sea perfecto, tiene cosas que mejorar, pero la trama logra conectar conmigo, nunca llego aburrirme de los capítulos, incluso en aquellos momentos donde está pasando las historias de nuestros personajes, quiero seguir viendo mucho más. No todo es pelea, también nos cuenta el porqué de las cosas. El director de esta adaptación animada, Masao Okubo, mencionó que quiere que esta historia este lo más apegado posible al manga, ya que sabemos que no siempre se puede mostrar todo en la pantalla, por cuestión de tiempo. Lo más sobresaliente fue la batalla entre Hércules y Jack El destripador, una de las mejores animaciones de la serie, lo demás es más de lo normal, pero aun así me encantó. Quiero seguir viendo más, se espera con ansias lo que al parecer será la tercera y temporada final de Record Ragnarok.

The director of this animated adaptation, Masao Okubo, mentioned that he wants this story to be as close as possible to the manga, since we know that not everything can always be shown on screen, due to time constraints. The highlight was the battle between Hercules and Jack The Ripper, one of the best animations of the series, the rest is more than usual, but I still loved it. I want to keep watching more, looking forward to what will apparently be the third and final season of Record Ragnarok.

Yo aún no la he visto y efectivamente al igual que tú me quede enganchado con este anime, al punto que cuando termine la primera temporada fui corriendo a buscar el manga, sinceramente el manga cambio mi perspectiva con respecto al anime, pero igualmente me gustaria ver estos epicos combates animados, que la verdad es que ninguno decepciona, bueno... Quizas la de Raiden vs Shiva si me decepciono un poco, pero ya son cosas mías.
