Para empezar, la película se fundamenta en que el villano sale de su tormento eterno gracias a que Jack cambio la Brujula por Ron, ademas de que esta es una justificación bien floja y carente de emoción, en las anteriores entregas, Jack, se canso de estar intercambiando la brújula, ella esta establecida como un objetivo inanimado que solo te guia a lo que mas deseas, no como un objeto con sentimientos que puede liberar a tu némesis el dia que hagas algo que no le gusto, ademas, en el flashback que hace Salazar, se cuenta que el origen de la brujula, es porque Jack la heredo de su antiguo capitán, contradiciéndose con lo visto Piratas del Caribe 2, donde Tia Dalma o Calipso confirma que Jack se la compro a ella, encima, se establece a Salazar como el único que fue capaz de casi extinguir a los piratas, cuando esto, no fue mencionado en ninguna de las películas anteriores, es mas, creo que Barbosa, dice inclusive que nunca habían estado tan acorralados como estuvieron en la tercera, por lo que tenemos otro error mas para el carrito.

La película termina con los protagonistas enfrentándose a Salazar, en el fondo marino, gracias a que descubrieron el tridente de Poseidón, Jack destruye el Tridente y con ello, todos los hechizos del mar caribe... conveniente que no lo supieran antes pero si ahora, no obstante, en el proceso si ocurre algo medianamente salvable, y es que la astrónoma, hija de Barbosa, esta apunto de ser alcanzada por Salazar, pero este ultimo se sacrifica por su hija, cayendo al fondo del mar, y salvando a los demás, muriendo tal vez, como un padre primero antes que Pirata, si in esta escena no redime toda la película, la verdad es que me gusto esta despedida emotiva, ¿pudieron hacerlo mejor? obvio, pero tampoco hay que ser exigente con todo, fue bueno, especial, ver como Barbosa hace un ultimo acto compasivo antes de despedirse de la saga.

Gente, podria irme y simplemente decirles que esta pelicula no tiene sentido, pero considerando que este es el final de la saga como la conocemos, me temo que mi amor por una franquicia que hizo una de las mejores trilogias conocidas en el cine me lo impide, y mucho, Piratas del Caribe 5 es muy mala, pero tambien, es una prueba de que si hay buena ideas en Disney, solo que parece haberseles olvidado que no todo es dinero en la vida, un ejemplo esta en el villano, que pese a aparecer y morir sin posibilidad de retorno, hay algo, que te hace estar cautivado por el mismo, creo que esto se debe mas a la actuación que a sus motivaciones, porque son muy básicas, pero su diseño esta bastante bien pensado, otro es tratar de explorar mas el mundo pirata con mas artefactos místicos, solo que bueno, aqui lo usaron de una manera que se contradice con las demás películas, como suelo decir, yo siempre me quede a la expectativa de las consecuencias de Piratas del Caribe 3, y aunque esta sepulta mis esperanzas de saber que paso con Calipso, al menos "siembra" que todos los hechizos del caribe quedaron liberados, por desgracia, no creo que vemos a otra secuela de esta saga mis panas, y por lo que lei lo mas probalb es un Reboot, pero bueno, quedara solo esperar que nuevas historias podran traernos el nuevo equipo que se encargara de izar la bandera pirata una vez mas.
