Yo considero que más que una simple tendencia, que evidentemente lo es, es una continuación de una política editorial y de marketing, que Netflix, como empresa ha detectado y por ahora sigue explotando con éxito. Dicho de otro modo, saben que el crimen vende y atrae, y por tanto han apostado realmente fuerte en este temática. Al punto de realizar miniseries como esta. "Dahmer" es un ejemplo claro del sendero que inició con Mindhunter y que hasta ahora continúa y seguiré continuando. Muy buen post.

I had added this series to my Netflix list but didn't know what it was about per se, I just knew it had to do with police stuff and since that's one of my favorite topics I put it there. Looking online I even came across the story of the profiler that the character in that story is based on, now it piqued my curiosity....
And yes, you're right, the crazier, the more it appeals, and the more they use it. 🤷
