Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is another perfect anime for those people who have not seen anime or have seen very few. One Punch Man is another good choice, lots of action and comedy.

There are two versions of Full Metal Alchemist, an old one that up to a certain point is the same as the manga, but then takes a totally different direction. And then there is another version (Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood) which keeps almost everything from the manga. I understand that the first version, even though it is far away from the original story, is quite good, although I have not seen it yet. I only saw Brotherhood and it is spectacular.
