Hablemos del cast de esta película, con el papel protagónico tenemos a Thomasin McKenzie haciendo a la estudiante de modas Eloise "Ellie" Turner que emprende un viaje a la ciudad de sus sueños con la idea de convertirse en diseñadora de modas pero que en el proceso va experimentando visiones de los 60's en Londres. Anya Taylor-Joy recreando a Alexandra "Sandie" Collins una aspirante a cantante en la época de los 60's y quién poco a poco nos va contando su oscura historia a través de los sueños de Eloise. Además de estas dos grandes actrices contamos con el actor Matt Smith quien hace al personaje de Jack, quien más tarde se convertiría en el manager y luego en el novio de Sandie pero que la obliga a hacer cosas que ella no quiere hacer solo para que ella cumpla su sueño de ser famosa.

Cuando estaban comenzando a promocionar esta película me llamo mucho la atención ya que además de tener a una actriz como lo es Anya Taylor-Joy, quien se está abriendo paso entre los actores más nuevos en alcanzar la fama, tenía representaciones de la época de los 60's y yo soy una total fanática de las películas que recrean épocas de ese calibre así que espere por un tiempo hasta que por finales de noviembre pude conseguirla. Me dejó totalmente sorprendida la forma en la que la trama gira en torno a una Londres oscura en donde incluso en sus rincones más pequeños ocurren muchas atrocidades, donde yo pensaba que la historia giraría de forma totalmente diferente me dejó bastante sorprendida el tema que tocó y a la vez me encantó ya que es un tema que debe ser tocado ya que es algo que aún sigue ocurriendo y que a pesar de no ser expuesto como debería ser es algo que aún está ahí aún si no se ve. Con esto me refiero al tema de la prostitución, lo triste de toda la historia es el hecho de que incluso si intentas llegar a cumplir tus sueños de manera totalmente legal siempre te encontrarás con situaciones en donde no puedas tener el poder de detener lo que ocurre.
When they were starting to promote this movie, it caught my attention because in addition to having an actress like Anya Taylor-Joy, who is making her way among the newest actors to reach fame, it had representations of the 60's era and I am a total fan of movies that recreate eras of that caliber so I waited for a while until the end of November when I could get it. I was totally surprised by the way in which the plot revolves around a dark London where even in its smallest corners many atrocities occur, where I thought the story would turn in a totally different way I was quite surprised by the theme that touched and at the same time I loved it because it is a topic that should be touched as it is something that is still happening and that despite not being exposed as it should be is something that is still there even if it is not seen. By this I mean the issue of prostitution, the sad part of the whole story is the fact that even if you try to fulfill your dreams in a totally legal way you will always find yourself in situations where you can't have the power to stop what is happening.
Last night in Soho o Anoche en Soho cuenta con una gran filmografía y cinematografía que hace que cada una de sus escenas te hagan sentir como si estuvieses tu mismo parado en aquellas calles llenas de música y bailes, además de usar algunos efectos visuales para unir a ambas protagonistas en ciertas escenas estás siempre se notan muy suaves y sutiles lo que hace que la imagen se vea con cambios suaves y no de manera brusca. La moda es otro punto a favor en esta película, la confección de ropa y el sentido de la moda hace que puedas reconocer y diferenciar los diferentes estilos de moda en aquellos años, además de ser un factor importante es muy bien empleado y proyectado en escenas y en mi opinión fue un punto extra a la película que le añadió elegancia y mucho disfrute visual a la película. Las personalidades tampoco se quedan atrás, sobretodo por el cambiazo que tuvo nuestra protagonista Ellie quien al principio se mostraba como una joven un poco ingenua del mundo a su alrededor pero que mientras va experimentando en carne propia situaciones como el acoso, se da cuenta de que el mundo no es exactamente el mundo colorido y amable que ella creía y ahí es donde da el increíble cambio de actitud antes la gente y ante todo a su alrededor.
Last night in Soho has a great filmography and cinematography that makes each of its scenes make you feel as if you were yourself standing in those streets full of music and dancing, besides using some visual effects to join both protagonists in certain scenes you are always noticed very soft and subtle which makes the image looks with smooth changes and not abruptly. The fashion is another plus in this movie, the clothing and fashion sense makes you can recognize and differentiate the different styles of fashion in those years, besides being an important factor is very well used and projected in scenes and in my opinion was an extra point to the film that added elegance and much visual enjoyment to the film. The personalities are not left behind either, especially for the change in our protagonist Ellie who at the beginning was shown as a young girl a little naive of the world around her but as she experiences first hand situations such as bullying, she realizes that the world is not exactly the colorful and friendly world she thought and that is where she gives the incredible change of attitude before people and especially around her.

Hola, vi esta película la semana pasada ya que salió en el formato de disco (DVD y Blu-Ray) y valió la pena verla. Me gustó el misterio y suspenso que hubo entre la drama.
