Freddy Got Fingered (2001) // Movie Review Rating: 1/10

Seeing "Freddy Got Fingered" would be excruciatingly painful for all moviegoers. In this movie, Tom Green is an oddball. He can't act because he's incapable of doing so. He doesn't have the skill to practice. He has no idea what it means to "act." He comes across that he doesn't have any natural intelligence.

"Freddy Got Fingered" is more like a set of silly gags than a film. Don't get me wrong: there's nothing wrong with silly gags in general. In reality, silly gags can work well within the context of a good story. "Austin Powers," "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo," and "American Pie" are only a few examples. However, Tom Green, who is almost solely to blame for Hollywood's humiliation, has little plot structure to give. He isn't tastefully abstract; instead, he is bafflingly spontaneous.

He has not produced one-dimensional characters. Instead, they ask mathematics to explain the fraction of a dimension in which they wander. There's Gord Brody (Green), a guy who isn't even complete enough to explain cliché. He has a paraplegic woman that he stimulated by hitting with a cane. And he's a struggling animator who seeks strength in a wild animal carcass and a slanderous fairy-tale about his father molesting his younger brother, Freddy.

Hollywood wrongly embraced Mr Green after his performance on MTV. Granted, his big-screen debut, "Road Trip", was a genuine comedy. But because his role was so small, the film's structure and script gave his idiocy and randomness a close, warm embrace, and all turned out fine. But once again, there's no promise in "Freddy Got Fingered", which hasn't aged well at all.

awwwww. I actually kind of liked this film but you are not wrong. It isn't a story so much as it is a collection of skits but "The Backwards Man" and "Daddy would you like some Sausage" always make me laugh.

LOL! I struggled with coming up with a review for this movie. It hasn't aged well and I don't think it would've survived if it was released to cinemas in 2021. Its not very PC at all!

oh no it wouldn't make it today and neither would most of the edgy stuff back in the 80's and 90's... , but then again you can't do anything without offending several groups of people these days.
