Hello everyone,

"Run Forrest Run ", these words keep echoing throughout the film directed by Robert Zemeicks. This film is said to be one of the best films of all time because there are many values of life that can be emulated.

The film Forest Gump, played by Tom Hanks, was first released on July 16, 1994 in the United States. The film directed by Robert Zemeckis is a romantic comedy drama genre based on the novel of the same name by Winston Groom.

This film tells the story of a man with an IQ below average named, Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks), who was raised by his mother with great love. Forrest was often bullied by his friends since he was a child, treated as a fool, until he was claimed as a child who could not do anything by doctors and the principal of the school. But behind his shortcomings, there are many advantages that make Forrest a person who is very loved by those around him.

The first day of school, he meets Jenny, the only friend who doesn't make fun of him. Her home is close to Forrest and they end up being good friends until they grow up.

Even though he has limitations, Forrest is able to continue his education to a higher level because of his ability to run (this ability is obtained when his friends chase him by car every time he comes home from school). He entered the football club and won several awards.

When he graduated from college, he enlisted in the military and was sent to Vietnam. There, he met a black man named, Bubba, who later became his best friend. Bubba convinces Forrest to join the shrimp business with him after the war is over.

Forrest became a very instrumental in his platoon with his fast running ability. He became the savior of many wounded soldiers and also helped his commanders, so that he received the Medal of Honorary Congress for his heroism. However, he lost his best friend, Bubba, who was so badly injured that he could not be saved.

Adult Forrest Gump spends his time searching for his missing little girl friend, Jenny. He also took out his savings to buy a shrimp fishing boat as promised to Bubba.

At first, her business always failed, but with hard work and never gave up she always tried. The commander, who has retired due to a disability, joins Forrest to fight in the shrimp fishing business. Eventually they became successful people and were able to support the Bubba family.

One day, Jenny came back and met Forrest. Forrest also proposed, but Jenny refused (for reasons unknown). But Jenny also loves Forrest and proves her love by sleeping with him. Early in the morning, Jenny left Forrest again.

This made Forest feel very sad and chose to go on a trip. He ran around the United States, for more than three and a half years. He is also famous on television and newspapers.

One day he gets a letter from Jenny, who sees him running on television. Jenny asked him to come to his house. After being separated for so long, they finally met. Jenny introduces a little boy to her, who turns out to be their son. At the same meeting, Jenny told Forrest that he was sick with a virus.

The three then returned to Greenbow, Alabama. Jenny and Forrest eventually got married, but soon Jenny passed away. And Forrest took very good care of his son. His son was given the same name as Forrest and he became a very smart boy. Occasionally Forrest visited Jenny who was buried under a tree, where they played as children.

The film scene closes with Forrest driving his son to the school bus. And a happy smile on his face.

My opinion, the film Forrest Gump (1994) is interesting to watch again, especially the lesson on moral values from the social and psychological perspectives of the characters. The figure of Forrest Gump also presents a different imagination to the audience. Because, behind all its shortcomings, someone must have many advantages that make it different from others. Forrest Gump teaches us that a person has his own destiny.

I don't know if each of us has a destiny or if we all just float by coincidence, like a gentle breeze. But I think maybe both. "- Forrest Gump.

También me gustó mucho esta película, siempre que puedo la veo de nuevo!

One of my favorite movies of all time. I remember when the producers tried to claim that the movie lost money although the box office receipts tell a very different story and it appeared as though they were trying to cheat people involved out of getting their percentage cut that they opted for instead of getting a one-time fee. These disputes were all settled out of court for undisclosed amounts and well, it was really suspicious.

I have seen FG at least a dozen times and would gladly watch it again. It is in my mind, the perfect film.
