Just like when you have nothing to do, and suddenly you remember one of the many series that our good friend JC has recommended to us, then you take the opportunity to watch it, and find out for yourself what it is about and how good is it.
Well, there are many series and movies that I have seen that you share here, which call my attention, and I say, I'm going to see it, when I remember; so it happened to me this weekend, in my search for series, I found this one, in fact, I saved it to see it at the time, until I finally decided.
It is a short series, it consists of five chapters, but it certainly catches you from the beginning, to the point that you want to know how it ends, who is the real culprit in this story, but above all understand why he did it.
The series is called Candy, a story based on true events, shows us how the lives of these people, who apparently had a perfect life, are affected by these events that marked their lives forever.
In a Texas town, set in the time of the 80's, where people attended mass, family functions and events, supported each other and shared all the time, with the same routine over and over again, where women were in charge of taking care of their children, of the household chores, while men locked in their work day and night, and only came home to eat, sleep and watch TV.
This is where you wonder, where is that love as a couple, that sharing, those adventures, well, over the years all that changes, and they get used to the same, that is why some use this as an excuse to look outside what they do not have inside their marriage.
We always see those couples that over the years, after living together for so long, do not seek to keep alive the spark of that love that once united them, but they transform, and sink into their monotony, making that love that once existed disappear little by little, leading them to look for a little adventure or fun with other people.
Here we see how these monotonous situations lead these marriages to decay, make mistakes that will later cost them and well, of course, bring them serious consequences.
In this story we have two marriages, one formed by Candy and her husband Pat, and on the other we have Allan with his wife Betty, where here two people who are tired of the routine, the burden of their partner, in their quest to try something different, leads them to the point of having a love relationship, thus being unfaithful to their current partners.
As they happen in the movies, it happens in real life, you want to have a simple affair, but this affair goes beyond, feelings are mixed, and already when you want to end it, it is too late, hence the terrible and tragic consequences, such as separations, arguments, and even this can lead them to commit a crime of passion.
A series composed by great actors, among them the famous actress Jessica Biel, playing the role of Candy, I must admit that I was surprised by her transformation, it does not look like her at all, and well she is a great actress, she knew how to get involved very well in her role, and transmit that image of a dedicated woman, willing to do whatever it takes to maintain her good image.
We can also see the actor Raúl Esparza, I don't know if any of you remember him, he worked in the famous series, La Ley el Orden UV, how curious, in this series he plays the role of a prosecutor, who fights for justice, and here he also acts as a lawyer, but in the defense part.
There is one of the characters who I wasn't sure who he was, but I thought he was familiar, in this movie he plays the role of the policeman, I must admit he wasn't bad at all, I think it's the first time I see a performance of him, I'm not sure, I won't tell you who he is, let's see if you can identify him.
There is no doubt that they did a great job with respect to the transformation of each character, set in this eighties era, with their hair, clothes, cars, in short, with a good scenery.
I liked the plot, the bad thing is that from the beginning everything is shown, it does not keep you more in suspense to know who is the culprit of this crime, however, if you are interested in understanding how it happened, how he was able to do all this, without any remorse apparently, then that is where you have to continue watching each chapter.
Too bad it was so short, only 5 chapters, I would have liked to see a little more of this story, of the life of these families, how they continued to live together despite all these facts, the most ironic of all, is the end, as it tells us the outcome of these marriages, especially Candy's, which certainly takes all the credit here.
A story of passion and crime, where jealousy, obsession for not wanting to be alone, or to keep something that no longer makes sense, makes you commit all kinds of madness, you can really get to love so much, to become so obsessed with someone, to expose your life, simply because you are afraid of losing him.
Well, these are things that happen, as they say, they happen in the movies, they happen in real life, it's like that, whatever the time it is, love makes you do crazy things, mistakes, and even lose yourself.
This movie was released in May of this year, I imagine that very few will know it, as it is a miniseries, not many get hooked with short series, but this one is certainly worth watching, it is entertaining, focused on real events, these stories always have something to tell and that catch you somehow.
I hope I haven't made too much spoiler, and you are encouraged to watch it, if you haven't done it yet, when you don't know what to watch, enter the community, there are many series and movies that have shared that are worth watching and enjoying.
Así como cuando no tienes nada que hacer, y de repente recuerdas una de las tantas series que nos ha recomendado nuestro buen amigo JC, entonces aprovechas para mirarla, y saber por ti de que se trata y que tan buena es.
Bueno, son muchas las series y películas que he visto que comparten por aquí, las cuales me llaman la atención, y digo, la voy a ver, cuando me acuerde; así me paso este fin de semana, en mi búsqueda de series, me encontré con esta, de hecho, la guarde para verla en su momento, hasta que por fin me decidí.
Es una serie corta, consta de cinco capítulos, pero que sin duda te atrapa desde el principio, a tal punto que quieres saber cómo termina, quien es el verdadero culpable en esta historia, pero sobre todo entender por qué lo hizo.
La serie se llama Candy, una historia basada en hechos reales, nos muestra como la vida de estas personas, que aparentemente tenían una vida perfecta, se ve afectada por estos hechos que marcaron sus vidas para siempre.
En un pueblo de Texas, ambientado en la época de los años 80, donde las personas asistían a misa, a actos y eventos familiares, se apoyaban y compartían todo el tiempo, con la misma rutina una y otra vez, donde las mujeres se encargaban de atender a sus hijos, de los quehaceres del hogar, mientras que los hombres encerrados en su trabajo día y noche, y solo llegaban a casa para comer, dormir y ver televisión.
Aquí es donde te preguntas, donde está ese amor de pareja, ese compartir, esas aventuras, bueno, con los años todo eso cambia, y se acostumbran a lo mismo, es por qué ello que algunos usan esto como excusa para buscar por fuera lo que no tienen dentro de su matrimonio.
Siempre vemos esas parejas que con el pasar de los años, de convivir juntos tanto tiempo, no buscan mantener viva la chispa de ese amor que un día los unió, sino que se transforman, y se hunden en su monotonía, haciendo que ese amor que un día existió desaparezca poco a poco, llevándolos a buscar un poco de aventura o diversión con otras personas.
Aquí vemos como estas situaciones monótonas llevan a estos matrimonios decaer, cometer errores que luego les costará y bueno, claro, que les traerá graves consecuencias.
En esta historia tenemos dos matrimonios, uno conformado por Candy y su esposo Pat, y por otro tenemos a Allan con su esposa Betty, donde aquí dos personas que están cansadas de la rutina, del agobio de su pareja, en su búsqueda de probar algo diferente, los lleva a tal punto, de tener una relación amorosa, siendo de esta manera infieles a sus actuales parejas.
Como suceden en las películas, sucede en la vida real, quieres tener una simple aventura, pero esta aventura va más allá, se mezclan los sentimientos, y ya cuando quieres terminarlo, es demasiado tarde, de allí las terribles y trágicas consecuencias, como las separaciones, discusiones, e incluso esto los puede llevar a cometer un crimen pasional.
Una serie compuesta por grandes actores, entre ellos la famosa actriz Jessica Biel, interpretando el papel de Candy, debo admitir que me sorprendió su transformación, no se parece a ella en absoluto, y bueno es una gran actriz, supo involucrarse muy bien en su papel, y transmitir esa imagen de mujer entregada, dispuesta a hacer lo que sea para mantener su buena imagen.
También podemos ver al actor Raúl Esparza, no sé si alguno lo recuerden, el trabajo en la famosa serie, La Ley el Orden UV, qué curioso, en esta serie interpreta el papel de fiscal, que lucha por la justicia, y aquí igualmente actúa de abogado, pero en la parte defensora.
Hay uno de los personajes el cual no estaba segura quien era, pero pensaba me es familiar, en esta película representa el papel del policía, debo admitir no estuvo nada mal, creo que es la primera vez que veo una actuación de él, no estoy segura, no les diré quién es, a ver si ustedes lo identifican.
No cabe duda que hicieron un gran trabajo con respecto a la transformación de cada personaje, ambientados a esta época ochentera, con sus cabellos, vestimenta, los autos, en fin, con una buena escenografía.
Me gusto la trama, lo malo es que desde un principio todo se muestra, no te mantiene más en suspenso para saber quién es el culpable de este crimen, sin embargo, si te interesa entender como sucedió, como fue capaz de hacer todo esto, sin remordimiento alguno aparentemente, entonces es allí donde tienes que continuar viendo cada capítulo.
Lástima fue tan corta, solo son 5 capítulos, me hubiese gustado ver un poco más de esta historia, de la vida de estas familias, como continuaban conviviendo a pesar de todos estos hechos, lo más irónico de todo, es el final, como nos relata el desenlace de estos matrimonios, sobre todo el de Candy, que sin duda se lleva todo el crédito aquí.
Una historia de pasión y crimen, donde los celos, la obsesión por no querer quedarte sola, o por mantener algo que ya no tiene sentido, te hace cometer todo tipo de locura, en verdad se puede llegar a amar tanto, a obsesionarte tanto por alguien, para exponer tu vida, simplemente porque tienes miedo a perderlo.
Bueno, son cosas que pasan, como dicen, pasan en las películas, pasan en la vida real, es así, sea la época que sea, el amor te hace cometer locuras, errores, e incluso perderte a ti mismo.
Esta película fue estrenada en mayo del presente año, me imagino que muy pocos la conocerán, como es una miniserie, no muchos se enganchan con las series cortas, pero esta sin duda vale la pena mirarla, es entretenida, enfocada en hechos reales, estas historias siempre tienen algo que contar y que te atrapan de alguna manera.
Espero no haber hecho mucho spoiler, y se animen a verla, si aún no lo han hecho, cuando no sepan que ver, entre en la comunidad, hay muchas series y películas que han compartido que valen la pena mirar y disfrutar.

I've not even finished all that I'm seeing and I want to add this one too the list but since it's a short series, maybe I'll see it quick.
I think this happens to everybody. Nobody likes routine, doing the same thing over and over again, it turns out boring something so the little opportunity we have to branch out, we take it.

Realmente esas situaciones ocurren en la vida real, la rutina cansa mucho a las personas, por ello cuando ven algo distinto, parece que les aviva un poco el deseo de algo nuevo, aunque no debería ser así, por eso es que luego suceden los malos acontecimientos.
A mí sí me gustan las series cortas, toman menos tiempo, y pueden ser muy buenas. Veo que todo termina con crimen, tendré que ver ese desarrollo, seguro el drama es intenso.

Bueno la veré aun que no me llamo tanto la atención pero ya me puse al día con One Piece y me quede sin nada que ver seguido haha. Con respecto a eso si pasa bastante en la vida y es lamentable que sea tan común que las cosas no resulten, tiene que ver mucho con la persona que se elija hay quienes tienen los principios adecuados para que las cosas si resulten, aun que son difíciles de encontrar jeje la mayoría quiere pasar la vida de un lado a otro por eso hay que elegir con cuidado a la pareja que se tiene.
