The story follows a convict, named Callum, who is recruited by an organization, which seeks to access the genetic memories he possesses, through a new technology. Particularly, I started playing the video game after watching the movie. However, I didn't dare to finish it, I didn't have much patience to continue with the story, besides, I felt I couldn't do the moves, but I saw how my brothers did it. But I liked seeing how they brought the best of both worlds together, especially in the Leaps of Faith.

For a non-gamer, and not much of a fan of the story, I thought this movie was very well done. I think it has the best of an action movie and at the same time, the most important of the game, although of course it has its differences in terms of the story, something that didn't affect me so much because I'm not a fan of the saga and I didn't know how the game ended.

A person who has played the videogame and is a fan of the saga, possibly, would have reacted in the same way as my brothers: "I didn't like it, I expected more". Because they have the knowledge of the way the characters should develop and the story in which the Assassins follow their rules, from different historical moments.
Una persona que se haya jugado el videojuego y que sea fanático de la saga, posiblemente, hubiera reaccionado del mismo modo que mis hermanos: “No me gustó, esperaba más”. Assassin's Creed es uno de los mejores videojuegos de aventura que he tenido la oportunidad de jugar. Pero esta adaptación no fue de mi agrado, sentí que hubieron algunos elementos forzados en el largometraje. En aspectos generales se puede disfrutar, más sin embargo, le falto más chispa. Como mencioné, no lo había jugado, lo comencé, pero no lo termine jajajaja, por eso me gustó, porque no había visto la diferencia. No sabía que ya tenía la secuela, la voy a buscar. Bueno, no es una secuela como tal, es como una animación, es lo que he logrado oír. Creo que hubo una disputa allí aunque la verdad de esto no se mucho. La peli en general entretiene, no es mala del todo. Pero yo espere más jajaja tal vez sean solo ideas mías 🙈.

Well, it's not a sequel as such, it's like an animation, that's what I've managed to hear. I think there was a dispute there although the truth of this I do not know much. The movie is generally entertaining, it's not bad at all. But I waited longer lol maybe it's just my ideas 🙈.

Hola Izzie, buen post. No he jugado nunca el Assassin's Creed (no soy para nada un gamer), tampoco he visto la película, pero la premisa que comentas me llama un poco la atención, quizá en cuanto me la tope la vere, las adaptaciones de videojuegos siempre me han parecido que tienen poca calidad, sin embargo, últimamente ha habido algunos casos en los que el resultado ha sido muy bueno, como la serie Halo y la película Uncharted. Aun no presencio tu podcast, pero en cuanto me sea posible lo hare. Saludos.
A mi me gusto, aunque no he jugado el videojuego y por eso la recomiendo, creo que tiene la calidad necesaria para esta saga, pero no soy una experta en ese tema jijiji. Muchas gracias por comentar y espero verte pronto en el programa 😊
