Casey is a young studious girl who is very good at math, and who works in a store inside a sports stadium, where she constantly sees young girls training in figure skating. One of her best friends is there, as her mom is her coach and prepares her for upcoming competitions.

I think this is a movie that when I was a kid I couldn't get enough of, because I love the way this girl discovers that she can do more than study. Also, I was annoyed at certain moments by the attitude of both the mother, and the trainer, one for not trusting what she was capable of doing and the other for wanting to harm her daughter's friend, however, I loved seeing how they both vindicate themselves at the end and help her accomplish her goal.
Creo que es una película que cuando era niña no me cansaba de ver, porque me encanta la forma en la que esta chica descubre que puede hacer más que estudiar. Asimismo, me molestó en ciertos momentos la actitud tanto de la madre, como de la entrenadora, una por no confiar en lo que era capaz de hacer y la otra por querer dañar a la amiga de su hija, sin embargo, me encantó ver como ambas se reivindican al final y la ayudan a cumplir su meta.
One of the things I liked the most from the first time I saw this movie, is the costumes, I still wondered if they don't get cold wearing that kind of dress. However, having a great importance for the presentation, I like to see how it shines with the light of the stadium.
Una de las cosas que más me gustó desde la primera vez que vi esta película, es el vestuario, todavía me preguntó si no les da frío usar ese tipo de vestido. Sin embargo, al tener una gran importancia para la presentación, me gusta ver como brilla con la luz del estadio.
