Didn't you see the '87 adaptation? I recommend it. I saw the 2014 one and found it an acceptable movie. It's not perfect, but it's watchable. But it wasn't good enough, I didn't see the sequels. have you seen the sequels?

I haven't seen the '87 adaptation, but I would like to see it soon. I haven't seen the sequels either, but I did read the entire Dollaganger saga, I loved the saga, in fact it was the first novel I'd read in my life, I was so hooked on the plot.
