Dramas about rich people are very successful, the viewer is attracted to these characters. I like the American HBO series Sucession, which is about rich and despicable people. I also recently watched a miniseries, The white Lotus, which has black humor and deals with the problems of rich people.
You got that right. Maybe because of the complexities which surrounds them makes for a good story, so dignified yet broken with dirty linens to unfold. I have seen a clip of succession, but didn't follow up with the rest of the episodes. Problems of the rich seem worse than those of the ordinary, it is never ending.
