It happens to me with Asian cinema, when I look up the name of the filmmaker I realize that I have seen other productions, but it happens to me because I have a hard time remembering Asian names. Now, this Iranian film you are talking about I haven't seen it, but what you say fits with the kind of cinema I like. I will look for it to see it.
