I haven't seen this animated version, but I did get to see episodes of the black and white TV series when I was a kid. Then I watched the 90's version. Uncle Lucas was my favorite character.

I'll have to look for some old episodes to watch. For this one my favorite was their daughter, Wednesday. She was purposefully made to look bland but brilliant inside
