RE: One Battle After Another | Film Review

It's a shame to read that the script falls into that Manichaeism of “very good good guys and very bad bad guys” that you mention; I feel that when the political message becomes so obvious and propagandistic, the magic of cinema is lost, no matter how good the technique or photography is. Now I have a dilemma: on the one hand, I want to see it for the visuals and because it's by Anderson, but on the other, I'm reluctant to sit through two hours of propaganda. I think I'll go with very low expectations thanks to your warning. Cheers!
