First, the sequence in the prison is one of the most brutal I've seen in a long time. It's crazy choreography, action, and tension. Seriously, I was glued to the sofa, unable to even blink. The part where his arm is on fire while he keeps fighting is savage! It's true that the first one had a different pace, perhaps a little more raw and with more personal tension. This one is a non-stop action spectacle. Despite its flaws, such as the forgettable villain, it's a great action movie, and that escape scene alone makes it worth watching.
