I haven't seen it, but it sounds super intense and just like you say, a roller coaster. I'm really intrigued by the twist it puts on the theme of revenge and how Carey Mulligan portrays that double life. It's true that cinema sometimes manages to touch very sensitive chords about those painful experiences that leave their mark... that you gave it a 9 despite not liking the ending... that really intrigues me! It means the ride was brutally good, even if the destination wasn't what you expected. I'm definitely going to watch it.
