Today I want to share with you my thoughts on the series: Superman and Lois. This series simply redefines what it means to be a hero, or to be THE hero. This CW production, made me have faith in superhero series again.. after the big disappointment I had with "The Flash", series that was one of the best superhero series, during its first seasons.. and then sadly was being reduced to a joke... But well, that's not what I'm here to talk about today. Superman and Lois, has achieved the essence of the Man of Steel perfectly... Introducing us to a more human and earthy version of the classic character known to almost everyone. In this first season, it lays the groundwork for a new adventure and story, this time we see Clark Kent and Lois Lane, facing one of the greatest challenges that can be presented to a human being... dealing with two teenage children, haha.
Out of jokes, we are introduced to these two new characters, being reinventions of the comics (but I won't talk much about this) at the beginning we can see how (to no one's surprise) Jordan, one of Clark's sons, starts to develop powers, so it's time for dad hero to come clean with his kids and tell them the truth. This premise may seem silly, or simple, but I consider it a strength to have this new family dynamic... This allows us to explore facets never seen before in live action productions (in the comics yes, Superman has had a son for years) but in live action we had not seen Sups father until this moment, and people this man is not only the best hero ever created, but he becomes the father we always wanted to have, and the one we should all aspire to be.

Hola a todos! Querida comunidad fanática de las buenas historias. Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy, hoy por aquí ha hecho un calor horrible.. espero pronto tener la oportunidad de comprar un aire acondicionado, porque este calor aquí en Venezuela no es normal.. En fin amigos míos, hoy vengo inspirado jaja. Y es que hoy me levante, y decidí compartirles mi reseña con mi opinión de una de mis series favoritas actualmente, una serie que comencé por capricho y que ha sabido ganar un espacio en mi corazón. Algunos no sabrán, pero soy super fan de los comics, y los súper héroes, y mi editorial favorita es DC. Así que me lleno de alegría obtener una producción de tremenda calidad, de unos de mis superhéroes favoritos de todos los tiempos.Hoy les quiero compartir mis opiniones sobre la serie: Superman and Lois. Esta serie simplemente redefine lo que significa ser un héroe, o ser EL héroe. Esta producción de CW, me hizo volver a tener fe en las series de superhéroes.. luego de la decepción tan grande que me lleve con “The Flash”, serie que fue de las mejores series de superhéroes, durante sus primeras temporadas.. y que después tristemente fue siendo reducida a un chiste.. Pero bueno, no vengo a hablar de eso hoy. Superman and Lois, ha logrado la esencia del Hombre de Acero a la perfección.. Presentándonos una versión más humana y terrenal del clásico personaje conocido por casi todo el mundo. En esta primera temporada, sienta de maravilla las bases de una nueva aventura e historia, en esta ocasión vemos a Clark Kent y a Lois Lane, enfrentar uno de los mayores desafíos que se le pueden presentar a un ser humano.. lidiar con dos hijos adolescentes, jaja.
Fuera de bromas, se nos presentan estos dos nuevos personajes, siendo reinvenciones de los comics (pero no hablaré mucho de esto) al principio podremos ver como (para sorpresa de nadie) Jordan, uno de los hijos de Clark, comienza a desarrollar poderes, por lo que es hora de que papá héroe se sincere con sus hijos y les cuente la verdad. Esta premisa puede parecer tonta, o simple, pero considero que es un punto fuerte tener esta nueva dinámica familiar.. Esto permite explorar facetas nunca antes vistas en producciones live action (en los comics si, Superman desde hace años ha llegado a tener un hijo) pero en acción real no habíamos visto a sups padre hasta este momento, y gente este señor no solo es el mejor héroe jamás creado, sino que se vuelve el padre que siempre quisimos tener, y el que todos deberíamos aspirar a ser.
This series gives us incredible impersonations of this well-known and beloved couple, Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch have incredible chemistry! They perfectly embody Clark and Lois, respectively, capturing all the love this duo has for each other, and how they simply complement each other and fit together in such a special and unique way. Their relationship feels so authentic and captivating.... I haven't seen such a genuine connection in a long time, their marriage relationship comes across as a true partnership of equals, as I said, they complement and support each other.
It's great to see this side of Lois more presented, to see how she really gets into the action when the situation warrants it, and how her gifts as a journalist make her always want to uncover the truth and help others. This was a key point for the development of this story, the other adaptations of the man of steel usually leave Lois very much aside.. She's there, she's the love interest, and that's it. And this is NOT like that, Lois is determined, and has a sense of justice equal to her husband, she is not a damsel in distress who wants to be saved, she is a reporter who is not afraid of anything, or anyone, and will fight to the bitter end to contribute and do good, without super powers, but with her reporting skills, and ideal of wanting the best for other people. I greatly appreciate that I have been given these two protagonists so good...

Esta serie nos brinda increíbles personificaciones de esta pareja tan conocida y amada, Tyler Hoechlin y Bitsie Tulloch tienen una química increíble! Encarnan a la perfección a Clark y a Lois, respectivamente, capturando todo el amor que este dúo se tiene, y como sencillamente estos se complementan y encajan de manera tan especial y única. Su relación se siente tan auténtica y cautivadora.. Desde hace tiempo no veía una conexión tan genuina, su relación matrimonial se presenta como una verdadera asociación de iguales, como les dije, ambos se complementan y apoyan.Es genial ver esta faceta de Lois más presente, ver como realmente se incorpora a la acción cuando la situación lo amerita, y como sus dotes de periodista la hacen siempre querer descubrir la verdad y ayudar a los demás. Esto fue un punto clave para el desarrollo de esta historia, las otras adaptaciones del hombre de acero normalmente dejan muy de lado a Lois.. Ella está ahí, es el interés amoroso, y ya. Y esto NO es así, Lois es decidida, y tiene un sentido de la justicia igual al de su esposo, ella no es una dama en apuros que quiere ser salvada, ella es una reportera que no le teme a nada, ni a nadie, y que luchara hasta el cansancio para aportar y hacer el bien, sin super poderes, pero con su habilidad de reportera, e ideal de querer lo mejor para las demás personas. Agradezco enormemente que me hayan dado a estos dos protagonistas tan buenos..
Well, it should be noted, that the secondary characters in this series also have their charm, Lana and her family are there for a reason, and although their plots seem to contribute nothing, I feel that everything is there for a reason, Jhon Irons is also an incredible additional... but well, I do not want to make spoilers haha. Let's move on.. The second season only improves more and more on everything that came before. It explores deep themes, without losing the hopeful tone that characterizes the man of steel, we are introduced to a new villain, which adds a new focus of tension and excitement..
You must be asking yourself, "Jesus, what about the action? And the fights?" Calm down, calm down, I tell you that this series being about a superhero, obviously there is action... of course Sups will have to face different threats, and he does it in a very excellent way, surprise villains, script twists, shocking moments, this series has it all my people. You want action? Well, it also has action, and with some pretty good special effects for a TV series, it presents sequences very nice to watch, with very well done effects.

Bueno, cabe destacar, que los personajes secundarios de esta serie también tienen su encanto, Lana y su familia están ahí por algo, y aunque sus tramas parecieran no aportar nada, siento que todo está ahí por una razón, Jhon Irons también es un adicional increíble.. pero bueno, no quiero hacer spoilers jaja. Vamos a continuar.. La segunda temporada solo mejora más y más todo lo anterior. Explora temas profundos, sin perder el tono esperanzador que caracteriza al hombre de acero, se nos presenta un nuevo villano, que añade un nuevo enfoque de tensión y emoción..Debes estar preguntándote, “¿Jesus, y la acción? Y las peleas?” Calma, te cuento que esta serie al tratarse de un superhéroe, obvio hay acción.. claro que Sups tendrá que enfrentar amenazas, y lo hace de una muy excelente manera, villanos sorpresa, giros de guion, momentos impactantes, esta serie lo tiene todo mi gente. ¿Quieres acción? Pues te tiene también acción, y con unos efectos especiales bastante buenos para ser una serie de televisión, presenta secuencias muy agradables de ver, con unos efectos muy bien hechos.
The third season has been my favorite, it's so deep and emotional that wow, at the end of each episode it killed me to wait a week to see what the fuck was going to happen. It deals with incredible themes already addressed before, like family, support, and love between couples (people, watch this series so you know what a real marriage is supposed to be like, don't accept less) but well, anyway. We are introduced to a new villain, who each time brings a new challenge for our hero, we finally see how Jordan begins to control his powers.. and how this affects positively and negatively the family dynamic.
I feel that this season is the best, because it is the one in which you identify more with the protagonist family.. like the previous ones, it masterfully balances action and drama, with incredible sequences, and moments of real emotional impact. The direction and photography of this series are also very well done... they have nothing to envy to superproductions in terms of aesthetics, this only raises the levels that were already quite high.

La tercera temporada ha sido mi favorita, es tan profunda y emotiva que wow, al acabar cada episodio me mataba esperar una semana para ver qué carajos iba a pasar. Se abordan de igual manera temas increíble ya abordados anteriormente, como la familia, el apoyo, y el amor entre pareja.. (gente, vean esta serie para que sepan cómo ha de ser un verdadero matrimonio, no acepten menos) pero bueno, en fin. Nos presentan a un nuevo villano, que aportan cada vez un nuevo desafío para nuestro héroe, vemos por fin como Jordan empieza a controlar sus poderes.. y como esto afecta positiva y negativamente a la dinámica familiar.Esta temporada siento que es la mejor, porque es con la que mayor te identificas con la familia protagonista.. al igual que las anteriores, equilibra de manera magistral la acción y el drama, con secuencias increíbles, y momentos de real impacto emocional. La dirección, y fotografía de esta serie también están muy bien logradas.. no tienen nada que envidiarle a superproducciones en cuanto a estética, esto solo eleva los niveles que de por sí ya estaban bastante altos.
What most distinguishes this series from other series with superheroes, is the love and affection they have for the characters, and their essence. I really liked the previous adaptations of the character... Henry Cavill played an impressive role, I love his Superman. But I feel that several times he deviated from the general essence of the character, Clark is not a God, he doesn't feel like a God, he doesn't need to be a God. Superman is what he is, he is a good man, who wants to help people from his heart, no matter what powers, or how invincible he is, he is a classic good-natured, boy scout, who wants to defend those who can't defend themselves, he is just the man who taught him to be his father, not his Kryptonian father, but his farmer father, his caring and loving mother.
Clark is proof that where there is good, justice will always prevail.... This for me is the best production of the character to date. For those of us who are fans of this hero, we know what he represents, and how important he is for the culture in general, he is not the best hero for facing galactic threats, or for blowing up entire spaceships... Although he does, what stands out the most about him is his human side, how he stops to help a cat in a tree, or stopping a robbery. Superman and Lois shows you this, as more than a super-powered alien, Clark is a human, he has human problems, human anxieties... It serves to reflect a little on the goodness and capacity that we all have to make this world a better world, and that is what a hero really represents...

Lo que más distingue esta serie de las otras series con superhéroes, es el amor y cariño que le tienen a los personajes, y a su esencia. Las anteriores adaptaciones del personaje me gustaron mucho.. Henry Cavill hizo un papel impresionante, me encanta su Superman. Pero siento que varias veces se desvió de la esencia general del personaje, Clark no es un Dios, no se siente como un Dios, no necesita ser un Dios. Superman es lo que es, es un buen hombre, que desea ayudar a las personas de corazón, sin importar los poderes, o lo invencible que sea, él es un clásico bonachón, boy scout, que quiere defender a quien no puede defenderse, él solo es el hombre que le enseño a ser su padre, no su padre Kryptoniano, sino de su padre granjero, su madre atenta y cariñosa.Clark es la prueba que donde haya bondad, siempre prevalecerá la justicia.. Está para mí es la mejor producción del personaje hasta la fecha. Para los que somos fanáticos de este héroe, sabemos lo que representa, y lo importante que es para la cultura en general, no es el mejor héroe por enfrentar amenazas galácticas, o por mandar a volar naves espaciales enteras.. Aunque sí lo hace, lo que más sobresale de él es su lado humano, como se detiene a ayudar a un gato en un árbol, o deteniendo un robo. Superman and Lois te muestra esto, como más que un alíen superpderoso, Clark es un humano, tiene problemas humanos, angustias humanas.. Sirve para reflexionar un poco sobre la bondad y capacidad que todos tenemos para hacer de este mundo, un mundo mejor, y eso es lo que representa de verdad un héroe..
What else can I say, well ... this series like everything in this life .. can not be perfect, I feel that the part where it sometimes fails are in the plots focused on the brothers, I can tell you, they are teenagers, being teenagers ... In part it makes sense all the shit they do haha, but they also have their good moments, I wouldn't qualify them as the worst of the series.. they serve to teach you also what is bravery, and determination. Superman and Lois is a must watch series, you don't need to know anything before starting it, even though it derives from the Arrowverse, it's totally independent, you can start it today if you felt like it, without knowing anything at all.
If you are a fan of superheroes, I highly recommend it, if you are a fan of Superman, obviously you have to watch it if or if, if you are neither, I invite you to give it a chance, you will find a good family drama, that will surely make you smile, or make you get excited, with outstanding performances, an interesting plot, and emotional messages about family and love... it is certainly a 9.8/10. Unafraid to tackle difficult topics, this series has become one of my all time favorites... soon to be released its fourth and confirmed last season... and you will see me crying when it's all over, although I'm sure, and I hope I'm not wrong, that it will close in an incredible way.
Undoubtedly a gem that deserves all the attention in the world, and should become a benchmark for upcoming superhero adaptations... Will it stand as the best adaptation so far? Well James Gunn, next year, will bring us a new Superman movie, opening his new cinematic universe... we'll see what will happen. Que más le puedo decir, bueno.. esta serie como todo en esta vida.. no puede ser perfecta, siento que en la parte donde a veces falla son en las tramas enfocadas en los hermanos, que te puedo decir, son adolescentes, siendo adolescentes.. En parte tiene sentido todas las cagadas que hacen jaja, pero también tienen sus buenos momentos, no los calificaría como lo peor de la serie.. sirven para enseñarte también lo que es la valentía, y la determinación. Superman and Lois es una serie imprescindible, no necesitas saber nada antes de comenzarla, aunque derive del Arrowverse, es totalmente independiente, puedes comenzarla hoy mismo si te dieron ganas, sin saber nada de nada.Si eres fan de los superhéroes, te la recomiendo enormemente, si eres fan de Superman, obviamente tienes que verla si o si, si no eres ninguna de las dos, te invito igual a darle una oportunidad, te encontrarás con un buen drama familiar, que seguro te saca una que otra sonrisa, o te hace emocionarte, con unas actuaciones sobresalientes, una trama interesante, y mensajes emotivos sobre la familia y el amor.. es sin duda un 9.8/10. Sin miedo a abordar temas difíciles, esta serie se ha vuelto una de mis favoritas de toda la vida.. próximamente se estrenará su cuarta y confirmada última temporada.. y me verán llorando cuando todo acabe, aunque seguro, y espero no equivocarme, que cerrará de una increíble manera.
Sin duda una joya que merece toda la atención del mundo, y que debería volverse un referente para las próximas adaptaciones de super héroes.. ¿Se mantendrá como la mejor adaptación hasta ahora? Pues James Gunn, el año que viene, nos traerá una nueva película de Superman, abriendo su nuevo universo cinematográfico.. veremos que pasara. Gente, espero que les haya gustado esta reseña.. y nos veremos próximamente con más producciones increíbles, cuídense mucho!

La historia entre Luisa y Superman siempre nos ha cautivado, lo han versionado tanto que casi sabemos más de él que de muchos. Sin embargo, este protagonista no se me parece tanto al Superman que recuerdo jeje. Seguro está genial la serie.

Hola, muy buen resumen de tus impresiones de esta serie. Wow, eso sí que no lo esperaba, yo veía Superman y sabía todo el eso del romance con Luisa, pero esto de lidiar con dos hijos que desconocen la verdad y no saben cómo decirles es otro nivel. Me imagino lo interesante de la trama. Saludos.
