And how great when I discovered this community dedicated to Movies & TV Shows, I immediately identified myself and subscribed, now well since childhood I have been a fan of anime, series and movies, so today I want to share with all of you my favorite anime of all time Samurai X. Just by writing its name I get excited, I am a big fan of this anime and I still am, in fact I have all the chapters from 01 to 95 recorded on my computer and every time I can I watch them.
Main Characters
Kenshin Himura : is the main character of the work. Known as the legendary assassin "Hitokiri Battōsai", he worked as a hitokiri for the Ishin Shishi during the Meiji Restoration. After the Restoration ended, he vows never to kill again and wanders Japan protecting the weak. He uses the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu kenjutsu style and wields a sakabatou (reverse-edged sword), which has no edge so as not to kill. At the beginning of the story he helps Kaoru defend himself against an assassin who uses his name Battousai and defames Kaoru's dojo. It is then that he confesses to her his past as an assassin, but Kaoru plays it down and invites him to stay with her. His personality is calm, kind and humble to the extreme; although it changes completely for a cold, violent and merciless one when he gets angry and transforms again into Battousai. Physically he is small and thin, with long red hair tied in a ponytail and a cross-shaped scar on his left cheek. At the beginning of the story he is 28 years old.
Kaoru Kamiya) (Himura Kaoru after marrying Kenshin): is a young orphan, who learned the Kamiya Kashin Ryu style from her father and inherited her kendo dojo from him. At the beginning of the story, her dojo is in a state of decay due to an assassin on the loose who claims to be a practitioner of her dojo and proclaims himself "Battousai". Kenshin reveals his identity as a former assassin to her and she allows him to live in her home, claiming not to care about his past.
She has a very strong personality, befitting the demands of a young woman who must fend for herself. She is very skilled in kendo. Physically she is presented as very beautiful. At the beginning of the story she is 17 years old. She is called ojou-san (little miss) by Sanosuke.
Sanosuke Sagara , also known as Zanza): is hired to face Kenshin being a street fighter, specializing in a huge sword called Zanbatō. Kenshin manages to defeat him, breaks his sword, and the two become great friends. During the fight, it is revealed that Sanosuke was from a poor background and belonged to the Sekihoutai, an army of peasants led by Souzo Sagara, who supported the Ishin Shishi and were betrayed by them; and their leader beheaded. Sanosuke takes his surname from Sagara's name, and has been dedicated to fighting ever since. He has a very strong character, is aggressive and moody. He is tall and has the body of a wrestler. At the beginning of the story he is 19 years old.
Yahiko Myōjin : he wandered around Tokyo as a minor delinquent; tricked by the local yakuza they make him believe he owed money from his deceased mother's medicines forcing him to steal to get that money. Although at first he was hostile to the help of Kenshin and Kaoru thanks to them, he realizes the deception and decides to go with them to train in Kamiya-Kashin school and become great friends and member of the dojo. He is a very proud young man with many desires to be stronger. At the beginning of the story he is 10 years old.
Brief Description :
The story begins in the year 11 of the Meiji Era, ten years after the end of the Tokugawa Era, where the best swordsmen had learned to wield their swords. This is a story that grabs you from the first chapter of this great samurai named Kenshin or Battousai the piecing, who after having worked for the government in the restoration killing people, decides to change his life and the course of his destiny, opting to choose a quieter lifestyle and leaving that past behind, he logically can not because it will always haunt him, yet decides not to kill more with his sword and instead decides to use it only where it has no edge and that is how the story goes. His main motto is about peace, love and redemption driven by defending the weak from the strong.
He decides to take his way and wander all over Japan and that is where he meets Kaoru and starts a beautiful love story, then comes Yahiko and then Sanosuke and begins an adventure that leads them to share and live together as a family, without blood ties, taking care of each other.

After a while Kenshi and his group of friends are forced to face enemies from the past, as well as threats that seek to end the peace in Japan.
Makoto Shishio was undoubtedly one of Kenshin's most formidable enemies. His story is chilling after being burned alive, he set out to make a plan of world conquest, and gathered a select group of swordsmen who faced Kenshin to finally face what would be the final battle of Makoto Shishio and Kenshin Himura. In which once again the good triumphed over evil resulting winner Battousai, was a battle to the death in which the 2 swordsmen gave the best of themselves each using the techniques that characterize them.
Himura Kenshin is an expert samurai who at one point in his past (between the ages of 14 and 19) put his skills at the service of the Ishin Shishi (Patriots of the Restoration) as a hitokiri (murderer, madman, pieceworker). During this time he received the name Hitokiri Battōsai (Battōsai the Homicidal or the pieceworker) and was the most famous and feared assassin of these times. After the fighting was over, he decided to become anonymous and from then on became a wanderer who traveled the country helping people as a way of making amends for all the lives he took, vowing never to take another life again. He carries with him a sakabatō, a katana where the blade and blunt side are reversed and allows him to use his style of kenjutsu, the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryū, without the risk of it being deadly.
The story begins in the year 11 of the Meiji Era, ten years after the end of the Bakumatsu and with it, the Tokugawa Era; upon Kenshin's arrival in Tokyo, he meets Kamiya Kaoru, a 17-year-old teenager who is orphaned by both parents. The young girl works as a substitute instructor at a Kendo dojo where the Kamiya Kashin Ryū style inherited from her father is practiced. After Kenshin saves her from a group of thieves bent on taking her property, who were actually former students of the dojo who, in order to tarnish the reputation of the dojo and in revenge for having been expelled by her father, use the name of Battōsai to commit multiple murders in the city, loudly claiming to use the style practiced in Kaoru's dojo for their crimes. Kaoru invites him to stay and live with her until he decides to wander again, downplaying the young man's past which leaves him very surprised. They are eventually joined by Yahiko Myōjin, an orphaned boy who was forced to steal on the streets by a group of yakuza and is saved by Kenshin and put into training with Kaoru; Sagara Sanosuke, a hired fighter who deeply hates the Ishin Shishi; and Takani Megumi a doctor unwittingly involved in the dark world of drug trafficking who searches for her lost family from Aizu.
Problems will arise when different enemies related to Kenshin's dark past appear. Many of them will be driven by superficial interests, others will be former enemies seeking revenge.
