Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros inmortales del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, siguiendo con la temática de ver animes Isekai hoy toca darle una revisión a uno de los exponentes más conocidos del género que es ni más ni menos que “Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World” el cual destaca por sobre el resto debido a la gran cantidad de sangre y muertes bizarras que tienen lugar en más de una ocasión. Sin más que añadir, prepárense para revivir la misma situación muchas veces pues estamos por comenzar.

Es una animación de acción y aventura, la historia se centra en Subaru Natsuki, un joven estudiante que de forma sorpresiva se ve teletransportado a un mundo completamente nuevo, en este nuevo lugar existen muchos peligros, no obstante, el protagonista corre con la suerte de ser salvado por una bella semi-elfa de cabello plateado, como agradecimiento este decide quedarse con ella y tratar de ayudarle con su predicamento, lastimosamente debido a los múltiples enemigos que deben enfrentar ambos terminan falleciendo, es en este punto cuando Subaru se da cuenta de que le es imposible morir y que puede regresar en el tiempo para poder tomar un camino diferente, el problema es que él es el único que recuerda todo lo sucedido en las diferentes líneas temporales.

The animation is well achieved, it has moments of good amount of detail, however, it also has several moments where it looks static and with a rather deplorable aesthetic, this reduces this section to something decent with some remarkable moments.
La animación está bien lograda, la misma tiene momentos de buena cantidad de detalles, no obstante, también tiene varios momentos en donde se ve estática y con una estética bastante deplorable, esto reduce este apartado a algo decente con algunos momentos destacables.
The soundtrack is pleasant, it fulfills its role of accompaniment to the different events, but it does not become something that has an interesting prominence, it is a section that passes without pain or glory.
La banda sonora es agradable, la misma cumple su rol de acompañamiento a los diferentes sucesos, más no llega a ser algo que tenga un protagonismo interesante, es un apartado que pasa sin pena ni gloria.
The construction of the world is interesting, throughout the episodes it is gradually delved into the operation of it, the latter is pleasant although it does not have a too striking context, it is a section that is curious despite the fact that it does not have many interesting elements to its credit. La construcción de mundo es interesante, a lo largo de los episodios se va ahondando paulatinamente en el funcionamiento del mismo, esto último resulta agradable aunque tampoco tiene un contexto demasiado llamativo, es un apartado que resulta curioso pese a que no tenga muchos elementos interesantes en su haber. Por otro lado, su ambientación está muy bien, previamente se mencionó cómo su animación tenía momentos espectaculares, eso se ve en momentos en donde se presenta una escenografía bella, cargada de detalles y elementos que la hacen muy vistosa.

There is not much to offer narratively, from the start it is made clear that there is no fixed direction, as the series progresses, various objectives are established, however, this style over substance suits it well, since it gives the narrative possibility of exploring as many scenarios as desired, in addition, thanks to this it can give rise to various plot twists that are quite well achieved, all of the above is framed in an insane amount of violence and grotesque deaths that give it a touch. Visceral, these two elements are the main attraction of the series and what makes it very digestible and engaging.
La trama es muy atrapante y curiosa, a lo largo de la animación, el volver en el tiempo es un punto focal en la premisa y el hecho de poder ver los diversos cursos que pudo tomar la historia solo la hace más interesante. No hay mucho que ofrecer narrativamente, desde el vamos se deja claro que no existe un rumbo fijo, conforme avanza la serie es que se van estableciendo diversos objetivos, no obstante, ese estilo sobre sustancia le queda bien, puesto que le da la posibilidad narrativa de explorar tantos escenarios como se desee, además, gracias a esto se puede dar pie a diversos giros argumentales bastante bien logrados, todo lo anterior se encuentra enmarcado en una cantidad insana de violencia y muertes grotescas que le dan un toque visceral, estos dos elementos son el principal atractivo de la serie y lo que la hace muy digerible y enganchante.

The villains are meh, they are imposing and lunatic but other than that there is not much to mention.
Sorprendentemente, este apartado está más trabajado de lo que se podría esperar de este tipo de animes, por cuestiones narrativas el personaje más complejo y desarrollado es el propio protagonista, a lo largo de la serie sufre bastante tanto por su propia muerte como el ver a sus seres queridos fallecer, esto le da un matiz psicológico muy curioso debido a que todo ese sufrimiento le afecta de sobremanera al punto de que en más de una ocasión toca fondo psicológicamente, esto no solo lo hace más realista, sino también facilita el poder empatizar con él y su sufrimiento, por otro lado, también se denota un crecimiento progresivo, uno en el cual afronta sus errores y aprende a manejar mejor las situaciones horribles que se le presentan. Los personajes secundarios tienen un rol curioso, muchos de estos tienen un desarrollo nulo puesto que este es reiniciado muchas veces, sin embargo, es curioso como estos interactúan con el protagonista y esto depende de las decisiones que este vaya tomando, esto les da un toque curioso pese a no tener una caracterización tan interesante. Los villanos son meh, son imponentes y lunaticos pero fuera de ello no hay mucho de lo que mencionar.
Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World is a curious anime in which blood, mental crises and bizarre deaths are the order of the day. Its story may be somewhat basic but despite this it is quite engaging. Despite not having great successes, the series stands out for doing well the few things it proposes. It is for all the above that it deserves 4 stars out of 7, it is not a masterpiece but at least it is above the average of animations of its genre, highly recommended to pass the time.
Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World es un anime curioso en el que la sangre, las crisis mentales y las muertes bizarras están a la orden del día, su historia puede resultar algo básica pero pese a ello resulta bastante atrapante, pese a no tener grandes aciertos la serie destaca por hacer bien las pocas cosas que se plantea. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 4 estrellas de 7, no es una obra maestra pero por lo menos sí está por encima de la media de animaciones de su género, muy recomendada para pasar el rato.
