Sin más que agregar, prepárense para conducir sus D-Wheel pues estamos por comenzar.

The animation is good in general, it retains that characteristic touch of the franchise, some combats look a little more colorful although it is nothing very remarkable, the use of CGI is quite meh and the scenes that mix it with traditional are somewhat strange, by the standards of the time it was not a crazy thing but not a mess either, it was a middle ground.

The soundtrack does not really stand out by much, it is a section that does not really have a remarkable presence within the animation, it is curious that in more than one epic moment it does not function as an element that increases the situation itself, it is even a section that on more than one occasion is wasted.

The construction of the world is simple, although they give a striking context for the situation of the 2 main cities of the series this is quite poor and does not favor the world to a great extent, it is interesting the dark background that exists but is not exploited as much as it could have been. The scenery does not stand out much that is said, it is intended to give some life with CGI, however, it still lacks something else for it to stand out in some way.

La escenografía no destaca mucho que se diga, a la misma se le intenta dar algo de vida con CGI, no obstante, le sigue faltando algo más para que esté apartado destaque de alguna forma.

Su narrativa es pobre y predecible, Yugioh es una franquicia muy difícil de ver si no estás familiarizado con las mecánicas, además, el hecho de conocerla no implica que sea disfrutable, sus enfrentamientos constan de explicar efectos, hacer jugadas milagrosas y salvadas de último minuto, esto hace que fácilmente se torne aburrida y más que una serie visual sea más viable ponerla de fondo e ir haciendo otras actividades, como entenderán esa forma de desarrollar su premisa hace que sus 154 capítulos sean tediosos de ver.

Este es el apartado más decepcionante de la serie, varios de sus personajes se sienten como una copia de otros presentados en la franquicia, por otro lado, trata de presentar personajes más complejos y con predicamentos interesantes (Nacer en la pobreza, tener poderes sobrenaturales, etc.) sin embargo, la resolución de los problemas personales es poco trabajada, un personaje puede estar deprimido por algo en concreto y su problema se resuelve en medio capítulo o menos, eso le quita la posibilidad de caracterizar de forma interesante a sus personajes, por otro lado, las interacciones de estos es lo esperable, hacen todo por sus amigos, el poder de la amistad siempre vence y todas esas pendejadas. Los villanos son planos como de costumbre, no tienen ninguna clase de motivación creativa ni nada que se le asemeje, son malos porque sí y quieren acabar con todo, existen algunos pocos con motivaciones más elaboradas, el problema reside en que la resolución de las mismas es paupérrima y lamentable.
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's meets the fact of presenting a new mechanics for the card game, it exploits it as if there were no tomorrow, however, the repetitive formula of having to save the world and that the protagonists are the chosen ones does not give it much margin to be striking in some other way. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 2 estrellas de 7, solo un selecto grupo de personas que les guste el juego de cartas serían los que disfrutarían de esta animación sin quedarse dormidos.

Es casi lo mismo, la narrativa no cambia mucho, aunque lo que le daba aura a la primera saga eran las jugadas fumadas que hacía Yugi, eso ya no se ve así que se torna más tedioso fácilmente.
