The first movie with Borat was able to make you laugh because it was improvised and people didn't know that Borat is another incarnation of Sacha Baron Cohen.
It's been 15 years since the first film about Borat so it's time to go back to Kazakhstan and tell the twisted story again. With the second film I have a problem, he was funny in places, but most of the time, Borat acted as if he came from another film.
Compared to the first part, the second one is also less controversial and less touching on difficult topics (the first one was the only one, where Sacha mocked every religion and everything around) In the second part, it focuses on the concept of sexism and how women are treated in some countries, of course in his own "funny way"
This time Borat has the task of returning to the USA (currently, he will be punished in Kazakhstan) and by a coincidence he will want to offer Donald Trump his daughter (this year a young actress who was nominated for the golden globe for this role, but also received a number of other awards, she played very convincingly)
The film can be described as a fairy tale about an ugly duckling that goes to a new place and undergoes a number of metamorphoses (including psychological) and becomes a beautiful swan.
The film continues to be a satire on the current problems in the US, how women are treated, or how easy it is to have access to weapons, but the performance itself is not as strong as in the first part, I missed this "austerity".
The movie is available on Amazon and, well he is weird, it has interesting moments like singing Borat at a concert, but also stupid as telling a lot of strange things to your daughter. Some coins are funny, but for most of the screening I felt embarrassed that Sacha was trying too hard to return to the character of Borat, which made Borat himself a caricature, in places it looked almost idiotic. The film, of course, also makes fun of politicians, including Gulliano (forgive me if I made a mistake) where Borat's daughter tries to seduce him.
The scene itself seemed idiotically stupid and added nothing to the entire plot.
The first part defended itself with a good cultural joke and mocking everything around, here I try to be funny and ridicule Covid or feminism. (the covid scene is very average, you can see that some scenes were just to fill the time they had. Borat's big comeback was supposed to be too fictional without "documentary elements".

Some will like the second part due to the famous character, others including I will say that this is, unfortunately, a bad film without a well-thought-out plot, looking for sensation in the wrong places.
To touch certain problems is not to point the finger, but at least it is funny to try to create a dialogue like in the first part where racism, which is a problem in the US, is presented. that the third part will not be created, but if it was to be a poor movie, maybe it would be good.
I rate the movie at 4/10 because of literally a few funny scenes and Borat's return, the rest is, unfortunately, the bottom, which does not have much to do with an interesting message

I agree with the fact that it feels that the second film is less controversial, it was good, but the chaotic style of the first film felt better.
Miałem napisać recenzję tego filmu, ale odechciało mi się :P. Podobał mi się bardziej niż 1 część.
Mi wręcz odwrotnie, albo gdzieś utraciłem humor albo wydawał mi się ten film głupi, ale to może tylko ja byłem tym narzekającym ;) pierwsza cześć oglądałem dawno temu może to przez pryzmat nostalgii tamta cześć uważam za lepsza a może bardziej była robiona „na żywo „ co potęgowało autentyczność nagrań ( słynna scena z kurczakiem czy porwanie pameli anderson hehe. Dzięki za komentarz :)
Nie ma za co ;). Druga część też była kręcona "na żywo", jak np. scena z tym Julianim :P. Też wszystko miało autentycznie miejsce. Poza tym - mam 100% na odwrót :D. Dla mnie jedynka była zbyt glupia.
