Movie: The Gray Man

Genre: Action, Adventure.

Network: Netflix

Release Date: July, 2022

I only got to watch this based on strict recommendation from someone who knows that I have a special preference for TvShows in comparison to Movies. I finally decided to add it to my watchlist and boyyy... This Movie served me very intriguing action sequences. It's not one of the popular Movies, to the best of my knowledge. As far as I can tell, I never even heard of this until it got recommended a few days ago.

While watching the movie, I got to realize that it is based on a 2009 novel of the same name. I don't know how popular the novel is or how the novel would be rated by those who read it. However, as far as the Movie itself is concerned, the production team nailed it. The casting is on point and the choreography of the combat scenes was done with cinematic brilliance.

The show stars Ryan Gosling as the protagonist in this action-packed movie. Ryan's character is introduced as a young lad who is convicted as a minor for killing his abusive Dad to protect his brother. While serving time, he got an offer from Fitzroy, a senior CIA official who's in charge of training black Agents who operate in the dark and live off the record.

His younger self took up the offer, went through their intense special training for years, and was introduced 18 years later as Sierra Six, a lethal assassin used by the CIA to carry out top-level assassinations. During one of the assassination missions that he had to do in Bangkok, he was supposed to use a sniper to take out his target at a festival. However, because he wanted to limit the chances of harming civilians in the process, he opted to improvise and take his target out in close combat.

That was when he got his hands on an encrypted drive. The CIA didn't like that. They wanted their hands on the drive and they were ready to let all hell loose to get it. Meanwhile, Sierra Six wasn't going to hand over the drive without a fight. You can already imagine how the plot unfolds.

Remember Chris Evans who's well known in his role in the MCU as Captain America? Did you notice him with that funny mustache in the above trailer? He's one to look out for in this show. He's a hilarious villain, the type you can't stop watching whenever he's onscreen.

Dhanush is another dude who's getting a really big shout in this Movie. He sure has a very impressive screen presence and his performance is phenomenal. I just didn't realize he's also a big star, but the reaction I've seen from people who know him shows that he's a big name in the India Movie industry.

Make your weekend more remarkable with this movie. You will be glad you checked it out.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
