Sabemos bien que existen muchas películas con el mismo nombre de la madrastra.
¿Pero has visto La madrastra que salió de este año?
El título original de esta película es Homebound, una película que entra en el género de terror, drama y misterio, la historia nos habla de Holly interpretado por Aisling Loftus y Richard interpretado por Tom Goodman-Hill.
Juntos se dirigen a la casa de la exesposa de Richard, quienes van para compartir con los hijos que tiene para pasar unas cortas vacaciones con ellos, ya que este hombre tenía años que no veía a sus hijos ni compartía.
El director de esta película se llama Sebastián Godwin, honestamente ha tenido pocas películas en las que ha trabajado, puesto que su carrera no marcha muy bien que digamos, ahora que estoy comenzando a centrarme más en el mundo del cine, estoy comenzando a notar a los directores de estas películas y series, pero honestamente menciono que esta película no es del todo buena, pero al menos sirve para pasar el rato, no la considero mala pero tampoco buena.

Siempre he pensado que cuando un matrimonio se acaba y tienen hijos, justos deben llevar las cosas por la paz para que esto no les afecte a los hijos, ya que ellos son los que sufren más a la hora del rompimiento de una relación.
Por ese motivo, esta película nos demuestra algunas de las cosas que pueden ocurrir en este tipo de relaciones que amargan a los hijos llevándolos a hacer cosas indebidas.
En esta película tenemos a los tres hijos de Richard, Anna interpretado por Raffiella Chapman, Lucia interpretado por Hattie Gotobed y Ralph interpretado por Hattie Chapman, juntos viven con su madre en una gran mención lejos de la ciudad, lo poco que Richard les dejo a ellos cuando su matrimonio acabo.

Los niños a esa edad cuando sus padres se separan toman un comportamiento depresivo, odio y temor por todas las cosas que están pasando y que pasaran, en esta película vemos como estos niños reaccionan de mala manera al conocer a Holly, puesto que ellos sienten que ella es una intrusa en sus vidas y no quieren que ella esté cerca de su papá.

Children at that age when their parents separate take a depressive behavior, hate and fear for all the things that are happening and will happen, in this movie we see how these children react badly to meet Holly, since they feel that she is an intruder in their lives and do not want her to be close to their dad.

These boys have a lot of time alone, since it has been the only way for Richard to see his children again because apparently their mother has been gone on a trip for a long time now.
No one knows where she went and why she left her children, but this creates a totally mysterious atmosphere that will keep us hooked to this movie, to know where their mother is and why she left them.
Tampoco es que estos chicos sean del todo normales, pueden que su conducta siempre haya sido un caos entre estos padres y hayan sido el motivo de que ellos terminaran, los niños son coas especiales a los que se les debe atender en todo momento, ya que ellos pueden hacer cosas indebidas solamente para llamar la atención de los padres, más aun cuando se sienten celosos de unos a los otros.
Siempre hay que demostrarle que a todos se les quiere tal cual como a los demás, nunca debe existir ese favoritismo porque al crecer sienten ese desprecio en su corazón, por ese motivo nacen a los que le dicen “la oveja negra de la familia” por ese tipo de situaciones.

Richard se lo toma todo como si fuera normal cuando Holly no hace más que sufrir por lo que los hijos de Richard están haciendo, pero todo se desenlaza cuando Holly comienza a descubrir las mentiras que estos chicos le han hecho a su padre solamente para atraerlos hasta donde están.

Los críticos han hablado muy bien de esa película, pero al parecer la audiencia no estuvo muy contenta por ello, por ese motivo en Rottentomatoes se menciona que la crítica de la audiencia ha sido de un 70%, pero que ha logrado tener una audiencia del 17%.
A esta película le doy 2 estrellas de 5, hay muchas cosas de esta película que me parecieron un poco extraña, como mencione al principio, no digo que sea mala ni buena, sino que es perfecta para pasar el rato.

Hola amiga, este tipo de película no es mi estilo, nunca me han gusto, pero esta es la primera vez que escucho esta que nos compartes y de verdad que suena interesante, además debe ser una total locura para esta gran familia saber que no es la mejor opción y tener la vista de es mujer, no debe ser nada agradable. La buscaré y leeré un poco más de ella, para ver qué tal, además no siempre la película de este tipo terminan como uno se lo esperaba, pero bueno. Hola amigo @davidpena21, muchas gracias por tu comentario, como cinéfilos siempre sentimos curiosidad de la diversidad de géneros del drama, misterio y terror, yo particularmente siempre busco en una película ver qué mensaje nos deja, aunque no parezca aquí podemos notar que en la inocencia está la otra cara de la maldad.
