Hoy haré una pequeña reseña sobre la muy conocida serie animada Avatar the last airbender o la leyenda de Aang como se le conoce en latinoamerica. Cuando era niña la transmitían mucho en la programación de la televisión pero no entendía muy bien, hace poco la volví a ver entera y me voló la mente. Por esta razón, decidí compartirla con ustedes para animar a los que no la han visto y honrar esta pequeña obra de arte, que lo merece.
Today I will make a small review about the very well known animated series Avatar the last airbender or the legend of Aang as it is known in Latin America. When I was a child it was broadcasted a lot on TV but I didn't understand it very well, recently I saw it again in its entirety and it blew my mind. For this reason, I decided to share it with you to encourage those who have not seen it and honor this little work of art, which deserves it.
A pesar de tener una animación parecida al anime no es una serie asiática ni japonesa, es una serie americana, de nikelodeon. Para los que no conocen de que trata, haré un corto resumen para que entren en contexto. En un mundo, 4 naciones vivían en armonía, estas eran las tribus del agua donde vivían los maestros que controlaban ese elemento, los nómadas del aire, la nación del fuego y la tierra pero todo cambió cuando la nación del fuego decidió atacar. Solo podría detenerlos el avatar, un ser capaz de dominar los 4 elementos, el inconveniente es que el único avatar de esa generación desapareció. Después de cien años el avatar es encontrado por un par de jóvenes y al enterarse de la guerra se ve en la obligación de intervenir, aunque aún le falta mucho por aprender.
Despite having an anime-like animation it is not an Asian or Japanese series, it is an American series, from nikelodeon. For those who don't know what it's about, I will make a short summary to put it in context. In a world, 4 nations lived in harmony, these were the water tribes where the masters who controlled that element lived, the nomads of the air, the nation of fire and earth but everything changed when the nation of fire decided to attack. Only the avatar, a being capable of dominating the 4 elements, could stop them, but the only avatar of that generation disappeared. After a hundred years the avatar is found by a couple of young people and when he finds out about the war he is forced to intervene, although he still has a lot to learn.
Aang, nuestro protagonista, sin experiencia se enfrentará a una nueva era donde todo lo que conoce es diferente y todos los que solía conocer ya no están. El joven emprenderá una cruzada en busca del conocimiento que le falta, pues a pesar de ser un habilidoso maestro aire aún no domina los otros elementos. La serie estará dividida en 3 libros o temporadas: agua, tierra y fuego, cada uno narra la busqueda de un maestro que le enseñe y su proceso de aprendizaje. En el camino él y sus amigos se verán envueltos en situaciones que nos harán pasar un momento agradable y hasta nos sacará algunas risas. Los personajes me encantan y como cada uno va resolviendo sus problemas personales desarrollandose para terminar siendo la mejor versión de ellos.
Aang, our inexperienced protagonist, will face a new era where everything he knows is different and everyone he used to know is gone. The young man will embark on a crusade in search of the knowledge he lacks, because despite being a skilled airbender he has not yet mastered the other elements. The series will be divided into 3 books or seasons: water, earth and fire, each one narrates the search for a master to teach him and his learning process. Along the way he and his friends will be involved in situations that will make us spend a nice time and even get us some laughs. I love the characters and how each one solves their personal problems and develops to become the best version of themselves.
Algo que no puedo dejar de elogiar es la historia, tanto en general como de cada personaje particular, pues no solo logra que te encariñes de los personajes buenos sino también de los personajes antagónicos, demostrando el lado humano de cada bando. Otra cosa a resaltar es que a pesar de tener una dinámica esencialmente graciosa no deja de lado la seriedad en la temática, la guerra, el miedo del protagonista, el honor, el bien y el mal. A lo largo de la serie nos irán mostrarando la situación socio-politica que ha sufrido cada país, pues cada parte del mapa ha sido afectado por la guerra en diferentes maneras todo con el fin de involucrarte más y más en la trama.
Something that I can't stop praising is the story, both in general and of each particular character, because it not only makes you get attached to the good characters but also to the antagonistic characters, showing the human side of each side. Another thing to highlight is that despite having an essentially funny dynamic, it does not leave aside the seriousness of the subject matter, the war, the fear of the protagonist, honor, good and evil. Throughout the series we will be showing the socio-political situation that each country has suffered, as each part of the map has been affected by the war in different ways, all in order to involve you more and more in the plot.
El entretenimiento está asegurado y aunque pueda parecer una serie infantil les puedo contar que trata de temas más complicados de lo que representa la animación. Esta es de las mejores series que he visto, ha marcado muchas infancias y ha tocado muchos corazones, incomparable sin duda. Espero que esta breve reseña les haya motivado a verla o les haya dado nostalgia, yo soy feliz con haber escrito sobre esta obra de arte. Muchas gracias por leer y déjame saber que opinas.
The entertainment is assured and although it may seem like a children's series I can tell you that it deals with more complicated issues than what animation represents. This is one of the best series I have seen, it has marked many childhoods and has touched many hearts, incomparable without a doubt. He visto que salió el life action, me han contado que esta brutal pero claro que tiene sus diferencias, no significa que este mala, aunque aun no la he visto, pero si, te recomiendo que veas la original, gracias por compartir tu opinión
