I'm a fan of supernatural for sure but I do try to temper expectations when I talk about it with someone. Probably the biggest draw of the show is that you really connect with the characters if you stick with it. Also there are some serious gems of creativity for random episodes as you get deep into the seasons. If someone isn't about character development or following a character's journey they probably won't be able to get through the first 10 episodes.
