¡Hola mis queridos Hivers! Luego de un buen tiempo inactiva en la comunidad regreso presentándoles este post de mi top 5 de películas favoritas de terror. De verdad es un verdadero y gran honor participar en este maravilloso concurso patrocinado por @ocd, existen muchas razones por las que podemos decidir ver cine de terror. Aunque sin perjuicio real o posibilidad de acabar muertos, desmembrados o poseídos, la psicología afirma que las vemos porque queremos entender nuestros temores y los miedos de la población en su conjunto. “El género de terror se dirige a nuestros miedos arquetípicos. Se puede ver en toda la historia cómo cada generación ha definido el ' terror' a su manera y se convierte en gran medida en la idea de que es algo fuera de nuestro entendimiento que nos amenaza”, explica Paul J. Patterson de la Universidad Estatal de San José (EE.UU).
Desde muy pequeña siempre me he sentido atraída por ver películas de terror, y a pesar de que muchas nos pueden dejar noches enteras sin poder dormir igual sentía la necesidad de seguir viendo mas películas de este genero, muchos se preguntaran ¿Porque? pues la respuesta es simple: No quería sentir mas miedo, y es que si, tal cual como lo leen, sentía que mientras mas películas de terror lograra ver, era una manera de afrontar mis miedos hasta llegar a un punto en que ya nada pudiese asustarme.

From a very young age I have always been attracted to watching horror movies, and despite the fact that many of them can leave us whole nights without being able to sleep, I still felt the need to continue watching more films of this genre, many would wonder why? Well, the answer is simple: I did not want to feel more fear, and it is that if, as they read it, I felt that the more horror movies I managed to see, it was a way of facing my fears until I reached a point where nothing could scare me.

Pero bueno ya aclarado este punto, vamos con mi top, para mi no fue fácil esta selección ya que he visto antas pero tantas películas de terror que tengo demasiadas que me gustan, pero bueno vamos con las de 5 películas de terror que mas me han marcado

1. Pet Sementery 1989. (Cementerio de mascotas).
Cementerio de mascotas en Hispanoamérica) es una película dirigida por Mary Lambert en 1989. Es una adaptación de la novela Cementerio de animales de Stephen King.
Louis Creed, su esposa y sus dos niños se instalan en una vivienda próxima a una carretera con mucho tráfico. Cerca de la casa hay un sendero que lleva a un cementerio de animales y también a un antiguo cementerio indio; según la leyenda, los que sean enterrados allí volverán a la vida. Cuando uno de los niños muere atropellado por un camión, Louis decide enterrarlo en el cementerio indio.

2. El resplandor (título original: The Shining).
Es una película angloestadounidense de 1980 del subgénero de terror psicológico, producida y dirigida por Stanley Kubrick y protagonizada por Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd y Scatman Crothers. Está basada en la novela homónima del escritor Stephen King, publicada en 1977, si bien la novela y la película difieren notablemente.
La película relata la historia de Jack Torrance, un exprofesor que acepta un puesto como vigilante de invierno en un solitario hotel de alta montaña para ocuparse del mantenimiento. Al poco tiempo de haberse instalado allí junto con su esposa y su hijo, empieza a sufrir inquietantes trastornos de personalidad. Paulatinamente, debido a la incomunicación, al insomnio, a sus propios fantasmas interiores y, tal vez, a la influencia maléfica del lugar, se verá inmerso en una espiral de violencia contra ellos, que a su vez parecen víctimas de espantosos fenómenos sobrenaturales.
2. The Shining (título original: El Resplandor).
It is a 1980 Anglo-American film of the psychological horror subgenre, produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick and starring Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd and Scatman Crothers. It is based on the novel by the writer Stephen King, published in 1977, although the novel and the film differ markedly.
The film tells the story of Jack Torrance, a former teacher who accepts a job as a winter watchman in a lonely high-mountain hotel to take care of maintenance. 3. La casa del fin de los tiempos. (The house of the end of time).
Es una película venezolana de suspenso con rasgos de terror, ópera prima de Alejandro Hidalgo. Protagonizada por Ruddy Rodríguez, Gonzalo Cubero, Rosmel Bustamante Alejandro Mercado y Guillermo García Alvarado. Filme aclamado por su Giro de Tuerca.
Dulce, una madre de familia, habita en una casa antigua junto a sus pequeños hijos Leopoldo, Rodrigo y su esposo Juan José. En aquel lugar Dulce experimenta aterradores encuentros con apariciones en la oscuridad. Misteriosos fantasmas que le advierten de una profecía que está por desatarse. Dulce, desesperada, intenta todo lo posible para cambiar el destino, pero una tragedia está por ocurrir. Dulce es condenada a la pena máxima de prisión por un crimen que ella no ha cometido. Treinta años después, envejecida, la mujer regresa a la casa para continuar su condena en un arresto domiciliario. Allí, junto a la ayuda de un sacerdote, luchará por descifrar el misterio y la tragedia que tanto la han atormentado hasta descubrir el fenómeno que lo cambiará todo.
3. The house of the end of time. (La casa del fin de los tiempos).
It is a Venezuelan suspense film with horror features, Alejandro Hidalgo's first film. Starring Ruddy Rodríguez, Gonzalo Cubero, Rosmel Bustamante Alejandro Mercado and Guillermo García Alvarado. Film acclaimed for its Twist of the Nut.
Dulce, a mother of a family, lives in an old house with her young children Leopoldo, Rodrigo and her husband Juan José. In that place Dulce experiences terrifying encounters with apparitions in the dark. Mysterious ghosts that warn him of a prophecy that is about to unfold. Sweet, desperate, she tries everything possible to change destiny, but a tragedy is about to occur. Dulce is sentenced to the maximum prison sentence for a crime that she has not committed. 4. El Grito o La maldición. (Ju-on: The Grudge).
El grito en Hispanoamérica y La maldición en España) es una película de terror japonesa escrita y dirigida por Takashi Shimizu. La película es la tercera parte en la serie de Ju-on y es la primera película cinematográficamente estrenada (las primeras dos partes fueron producciones direct-to-video). La premiere de la película tuvo lugar en el Screamfest Film Festival de Los Ángeles, California, en octubre de 2002. Fue estrenada en Japón el 25 de enero de 2003 y ha engendrado varias secuelas y un remake estadounidense titulado The Grudge que fue estrenado en el año 2004. La película está basada en una leyenda sobre la típica casa embrujada japonesa.
Se dice en Japón que cuando alguien muere en una pena o rabia extrema, la emoción permanece y puede dejar una mancha en ese lugar. La muerte se convierte en una parte de ese lugar, matando todo lo que toca.
4. Ju-on: The Grudge. (El Grito o La maldición).
The Scream in Latin America and The Curse in Spain) is a Japanese horror film written and directed by Takashi Shimizu. The film is the third part in the Ju-on series and is the first cinematically released film (the first two parts were direct-to-video productions). The premiere of the film took place at the Screamfest Film Festival in Los Angeles, California, in October 2002. It was released in Japan on January 25, 2003 and has spawned several sequels and an American remake titled The Grudge that was released in the year 2004. The film is based on a legend about the typical Japanese haunted house.
It is said in Japan that when someone dies in extreme grief or rage, the emotion remains and can leave a stain in that place. Death becomes a part of that place, killing everything it touches.

Es una película de terror tailandesa del año 2004 producida por Yodphet Sudsawad y dirigida por los directores Banjong Pisanthanakun y Parkpoom Wongpoom. Es protagonizada por Ananda Everingham, Natthaweeranuch Thongmee y Achita Sikamana.
La trama se enfoca en imágenes misteriosas de carácter paranormal y un ser fantasmal que busca venganza. La película fue un gran éxito de taquilla por lo que es una de las mejores películas de terror de Tailandia reconocidas en todo el mundo. Tuvo una versión estadounidense bajo el mismo título Shutter que fue lanzado en 2008.
5. Shutter. (El fotógrafo).
It is a 2004 Thai horror film produced by Yodphet Sudsawad and directed by directors Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom. It stars Ananda Everingham, Natthaweeranuch Thongmee, and Achita Sikamana.
The plot focuses on mysterious images of a paranormal character and a ghostly being that seeks revenge. The film was a huge box office success making it one of the best Thai horror films recognized around the world. It had an American version under the same title Shutter that was released in 2008.

😱😱👀 The Grudge, no me dejo dormir por un par de noches, es de esas películas que se meten en tu cabeza y te joden el sueño.
El terror es un género clásico que no pasará de modo y poco a poco se hs adaptado a los aveces de efectos especiales y maquillaje.
Recuerdo que cuando tenía 12 años actualmente tengo 30 años, las películas de terror tenían esa fotografía tan tenue y que te daba la sensación de pesadez era algo alucinante y eso casi no lo vemos. Claro no todas juegan mal con el uso de la tecnología pero extraño esa vieja época.
