Hello, friends! With today's post I want to venture into a new community, about Movies and TV Series, this time making a small review of the new Disney + WandaVision TV series, which premiered last Friday the 15th and in which they offered us 2 episodes to go into what will be phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
¡Hola, que tal amigos! con el post de hoy quiero incursionar en una nueva comunidad, la de Películas y Series de Tv, esta vez haciendo una pequeña reseña de la nueva serie de TV de Disney+ WandaVision, que se estrenó el pasado viernes 15 y en la que nos ofrecieron 2 capítulos para ir adentrándonos en lo que será la fase 4 de Universo Cinematográfico Marvel.
This series will have 9 episodes of 30 minutes each. At the moment only one season is known, but for those who want to see more of this couple, a second season is in the works. The series combines classic situation comedy set in the 50's, even both episodes are in black and white, although that changes at the end of episode 2 and leads us to continue with the story of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) who try to live a normal life by hiding their powers, which leads them to be in really comical situations, in addition, it develops temporarily after what happened in Avengers: End Game.
Esta serie contará con 9 episodios de 30 minutos cada uno. Por el momento solo se sabe de 1 temporada, pero para los que ansían ver más de esta pareja, está en planes una segunda temporada. La serie combina comedia de situación clásica ambientada en los años 50, incluso ambos episodios son en blanco y negro, aunque eso cambia al final del episodio 2 y nos lleva a continuar con la historia de Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) y Visión (Paul Bettany) quienes intentan vivir una vida normal ocultando sus poderes, lo que los lleva a estar en situaciones realmente cómicas, además, se desarrolla temporalmente después de lo sucedido en Avengers: End Game.
Let's talk about the First Episode / Hablemos del Primer Episodio
This episode is in black and white format, making reference to the current period of the series. This can generate confusion, since previously I commented that temporarily the series is developed after the End Game events, so we can suspect that there is a mystery behind all this illusion of Wanda and Vision in an apparently normal life of newlyweds and that not everything is what it seems to be.
The series begins with Wanda and Vision in a car moving to what will be their new home in Westview. At first the Scarlet Witch is shown as a housewife doing housework, while Vision works as a data processor at Computer Services Inc. That morning, both see a heart marked on their calendar on August 23rd and neither remembers why. I can assume that this day will have its meaning later in the series.
Es un capitulo que destila carisma gracias a sus personajes principales y donde encontramos muchas referencias al MCU (Universo Cinematográfico Marvel por sus siglas en inglés).
Este capítulo está en formato blanco y negro, haciendo referencia a la época actual de la serie. Esto puede generar confusión, ya que anteriormente comentaba que temporalmente la serie se desarrolla posterior a los hechos de End Game, por lo cual podemos sospechar que hay un misterio detrás de toda esta ilusión de Wanda y Visión en una vida aparentemente normal de recién casados y que no todo es lo que aparente ser.
La serie comienza con Wanda y Visión en un automóvil mudándose a lo que será su nuevo hogar en Westview. Al inicio la Bruja Escarlata se muestra como una ama de casa encargada de las labores del hogar, mientras que Visión trabaja procesando datos en Servicios Computacionales Inc. Esa mañana, ambos ven marcado un corazón en su calendario en la fecha 23 de agosto y ninguno recuerda el por qué. Puedo suponer que este día tendrá su significado más adelante en la serie.
Although Vision works at that company and has increased the company's performance by 300%, he still can't figure out what that company actually does. By that time, his boss comes on board and reminds him that that night he and Wanda would welcome him and his wife to a dinner that would define his promotion as a manager in that company, which makes Vision understand what was on his calendar.
Aunque Visión trabaja en esa empresa y ha aumentado el rendimiento de la misma un 300%, él aún no logra descubrir qué es lo que hace realmente esa compañía. Para ese momento, entra en escena su jefe quien le recuerda que esa noche Wanda y él, lo recibirían junto a su esposa en una cena que definiría su ascenso como gerente en esa compañía, lo cual hace entender a Visión lo que estaba marcado en su calendario.
On the other hand, Wanda meets her neighbor Agnes, who cordially goes to visit her to introduce herself and starts asking Wanda questions that she doesn't know how to answer, such as the fact that she doesn't wear a wedding ring, even though she claims to be married. Finally, Wanda comes to the conclusion that what is marked on the calendar cannot be anything else but an anniversary, so she decides to plan a romantic evening with Agnes.
Por otro lado, Wanda conoce a su vecina Agnes, quien cordialmente va a visitarla para presentarse y comienza a hacerle preguntas a Wanda que ésta no sabe cómo responder, como el hecho de que no lleva alianza de matrimonio, a pesar de que afirma que está casada. Finalmente, Wanda llega a la conclusión de que lo que está marcado en el calendario no puede ser otra cosa que un aniversario, así que decide junto a Agnes planear una velada romántica.
At this time appears the first Easter Egg, for those who do not know the meaning, in the audiovisual world, refers to a hidden message in the plots, dialogues or scenery. In this first commercial, we see the promotion of a Stark Industries toaster, which at the end has a sound similar to the timer of an explosive.
En este momento aparece el primer Easter Egg, para los que no conocen el significado, en el mundo audiovisual, se refiere a un mensaje oculto en las tramas, diálogos o escenografías. En este primer comercial, vemos la promoción de una tostadora de Industrias Stark, que al finalizar tiene un sonido similar al temporizador de un explosivo.
After this interesting Easter Egg, we continue with the plot, for this moment Vision arrives home with his boss and his boss's wife for dinner. At this moment a very comical scenario arises, as both were talking about very different situations for the dinner, so Wanda has not planned any dinner and receives the guests with a provocative outfit.
Neighbor Agnes comes to the rescue bringing gourmet food for 4, which as she explains, every housewife should have in her fridge. While Wanda takes care of the dinner that ends in a complete disaster, Vision tries to distract her guests by singing songs and making time for Wanda to improvise a breakfast for dinner, using European style as a pretext.
Después de este interesante Easter Egg, seguimos con la trama, para este momento Visión llega a casa con su jefe y su esposa para la cena. En este momento surge un escenario muy cómico, ya que ambos hablaban de situaciones muy diferentes para la cena, por lo cual Wanda no ha planeado ninguna cena y recibe a los invitados con un traje provocador.
La vecina Agnes viene al rescate trayendo comida gourmet para 4, cosa que como ella misma explica, toda ama de casa debe tener en su nevera. Mientras Wanda se encarga de la cena que termina en un completo desastre, Visión intenta distraer a sus invitados cantando canciones y haciendo tiempo para que Wanda improvise un desayuno para la cena, utilizando como pretexto que es el estilo europeo.
At the time of the dinner, again begin the uncomfortable questions for Wanda and Vision by the head of Vision, questions that none manages to answer and so the boss already very upset, begins to choke, his wife says to stop looking at her husband, but gradually turns his head and talking directly to Wanda, as it seems that it is she who is suffocating him, finally Wanda asks Vision to help his boss and this with his powers manages to save his boss. Finally, Vision is promoted and Hart and his wife leave the house happy.
This scene is really interesting because Vision just sits there like he doesn't know what to do and it's only when Wanda gives the order that he helps. In my opinion, Wanda is the one who handles all this married reality, so not knowing how to answer the questions about her life breaks that reality and makes her feel disturbed and somehow she can lose control.
En el momento de la cena, nuevamente comienzan las preguntas incomodas para Wanda y Visión por parte del jefe de Visión, preguntas que ninguno logra responder y por lo cual el jefe ya muy molesto, se comienza a atragantar, su mujer dice que pare mirando a su marido, pero poco a poco gira la cabeza hablándole ya directamente a Wanda, ya que al parecer es ella quien le está sofocando, finalmente Wanda le pide a Visión que ayude a su jefe y este con sus poderes logra salvar a su jefe. Finalmente, Visión es ascendido y Hart y su mujer salen contentos de su casa.
Esta escena es realmente interesante ya que Visión simplemente se queda sentado como sin saber qué hacer y es solo cuando Wanda da la orden que él ayuda. A mi parecer, Wanda es quien maneja toda esta realidad de casados, por lo cual, el no saber responder las preguntas sobre su vida, rompe con esa realidad y hace que ella se sienta perturbada y de alguna manera pueda ir perdiendo el control.
With a typical curtain of the time, the episode that is being broadcast on television in the style of the Truman Show ends, but the one who is watching is someone from S.W.O.R.D. in the current time and is taking notes. In the comics, S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient World Observation and Response Department) is an anti-terrorist agency and an intelligence agency that deals with extraterrestrial threats to world security. It is also a subdivision of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Con una cortinilla típica de la época, se acaba el episodio que se está retransmitiendo en televisión al estilo del Show de Truman, pero quien está vigilante es alguien de S.W.O.R.D en la época actual y está tomando notas. En los cómics, S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient World Observation and Response Department) es una agencia de lucha contra el terrorismo y una inteligencia que se ocupa de las amenazas extraterrestres para la seguridad mundial. También es una subdivisión de S.H.I.E.L.D.
This is another interesting point offered to us at the end of this first episode, because if S.W.O.R.D. is watching, they are probably involved, we just don't know in what way, if they are keeping Wanda in that reality or helping her escape from it.
Esto es otro punto interesante que se nos ofrece al finalizar este primer capítulo y es que si S.W.O.R.D está observando, posiblemente esté involucrado, solo que no sabemos de qué forma, si manteniendo a Wanda en esa realidad o ayudándola a escapar de ella.

¡Hola! Yo pensaba que era una película nueva de Marvel, esta serie se ve muy interesante, lastima que no tengo como verla, pero siento que me gustaría, se ve algo diferente.
Hola @dayna199019 yo también pensé en su momento que era una pelicula, luego comprendí que era una serie. Al principio no entendía muy bien la situación, pero al ir viendo los episodios 1 y 2 quedas enganchado. Espero que en algún momento tengas la oportunidad de ver la serie.

I think the show is slow for what we're used to seeing, so it gets a little weird, but I'm sure it will be a very interesting TV series in the end.
