Saludos a todos y bienvenidos a mi blog. Aunque últimamente no tengo cabeza para terminar de ver series complicadas (ni tiempo) y he optado por ver cosas simples, esta fue una serie que me llamó la atención y dejé todo de lado por terminarla.
Imposible dejarla inconclusa, por lo menos para mí. Tiene cosas que la hacen muy interesante, que me animaron a seguir viéndola hasta el final.
Por fin puedo sentarme a escribir tranquila el día de hoy, y realmente espero estar por aquí más seguido. Sin nada más que decir, empezaré con la reseña.
Greetings everyone and welcome to my blog. Although lately I don't have the head to finish watching complicated series (nor the time) and have opted to watch simple things, this was a series that caught my attention and I put everything aside to finish it.
Impossible to leave it unfinished, at least for me. It has things that make it very interesting, which encouraged me to keep watching it until the end.
I can finally sit down to write today, and I really hope to be here more often. Without anything else to say, I'll start with the review.

Esta serie está basada en el comic de Neil Gaiman y fue estrenada este mismo año. Aunque es bastante reciente, por el momento es una de las más populares que se pueden encontrar en Netflix.
Ojalá su popularidad siga aumentando, porque no vale la pena dejarla rezagada en el olvido. No creo que sea perfecta, de hecho hubo cosas que no me convencieron o gustaron del todo, pero tiene algo mágico y muy entretenido de ver.
El protagonista de esta historia es interpretado por Tom Sturridge, y también podemos encontrar a actores y actrices que lo acompañan como Gwendoline Christie, Kirby Howell Baptiste, Boyd Holbrook, David Thewlis, Masón Alexander Park... Y bueno, la lista es larguísima, hay una gran cantidad de personajes.
This series is based on Neil Gaiman's comic book and was released earlier this year. Although it is fairly recent, at the moment it is one of the most popular that can be found on Netflix.
Hopefully its popularity will continue to increase, because it is not worth leaving it behind in oblivion. I don't think it's perfect, in fact there were some things I didn't like or like, but it has something magical and very entertaining to watch.

De qué trata 🖤 What it is about
Uno de los Eternos, Sueño, es capturado por un mortal cuando viene a este mundo. Con ayuda de una pesadilla prófuga descubren cómo mantenerlo encerrado sin posibilidad de escape, quedando a merced de la voluntad de los humanos.
Mientras las personas que lo encerraron piden y exigen milagros de Sueño, el mundo cada día se pone peor por la ausencia de este Eterno, ya que es una parte fundamental de sus vidas.
No solo eso, sino que su propio mundo se ve afectado en su ausencia, el reino que le llevó años construir y mantener. Así que cuando por fin logre salir de la jaula, las cosas no hacen más que complicarse.
One of the Eternals, Dream, is captured by a mortal when he comes to this world. With the help of an escaped nightmare, they discover how to keep him locked up without the possibility of escape, leaving him at the mercy of the humans' will.
While the people who imprisoned him ask and demand miracles from Sueño, the world is getting worse every day because of the absence of this Eternal, since he is a fundamental part of their lives.
Not only that, but his own world is affected in his absence, the kingdom that took him years to build and maintain. So when he finally makes it out of the cage, things only get more complicated.
Mi opinión 🖤 My opinion
Tengo opiniones encontradas con esta serie, pues empecé a verla con mucho gusto por todo lo que te presentan al principio pero a medida que avanzaba algo fue decayendo. El interés seguía ahí, también el entretenimiento, pero ya no era lo mismo.
Aún así, creo que son más las cosas buenas las que hay que resaltar. Empezaré por la historia, la historia que te cuentan es súper entretenida, pero no solo eso, es el modo en que la cuentan, las interpretaciones de los actores y los efectos especiales.
Todo esto se complementa y te dan una obra de arte, porque sí, esta serie es muy hermosa visualmente, incluso cuando lo que te quieren mostrar es el caos, o escenas sangrientas.
Me gustó mucho la interpretación del actor principal, pues desde el comienzo parece un verdadero ser de otro mundo, y pese a que lo ves llorando (una de mis escenas favoritas, me dejó congelada), no lo humanizas fácilmente, crees que más bien es un sufrimiento más allá de este mundo, como solo ellos saben sentir.
I have mixed opinions with this series, because I started watching it with a lot of pleasure for everything that is presented at the beginning but as it progressed something was declining. The interest was still there, also the entertainment, but it was no longer the same.
Even so, I think there are more good things to highlight. I'll start with the story, the story they tell you is super entertaining, but not only that, it's the way they tell it, the performances of the actors and the special effects.
All this complements each other and gives you a work of art, because yes, this series is very beautiful visually, even when what they want to show you is chaos, or bloody scenes.
I really liked the interpretation of the main actor, because from the beginning he seems like a true being from another world, and even though you see him crying (one of my favorite scenes, it left me frozen), you don't humanize him easily, you think it is rather a suffering beyond this world, as only they know how to feel.
Eh, no sé de dónde me saqué eso, pero, creo que esto es algo importante a la hora de adentrarte en esta historia: la imaginación.
De igual modo, la voz. La voz de este actor es genial para este papel, muy bonita voz. Aunque al principio no me convencía el cómo estaba narrado todo, ni cómo hablaba a cada momento, luego me descubrí decepcionándome un poco cuando su voz empezó a ser más normal, como si se le hubiese olvidado cómo hablaba al comienzo.
Antes de avanzar al siguiente punto debo decir que hubo momentos épicos dónde Sueño gana peleas complicadas contra enemigos increíbles, pero otros donde lo sentí débil, dependiente, incluso como un humano, y hasta ridiculizado.
Admito que quería ver a alguien más fuerte, y que esto me hizo cuestionarme que tan bueno o importante era el Dios del sueño, que tan fuerte, y dudar de otros Eternos que dicen que es más fuerte que ellos.
Así que por ese lado siempre fluctuaba mi opinión. Algunas veces lo ví débil, algunas veces lo ví fuerte, y algunas veces lo vi humano. Eso sí, una de las cosas que más me gustó del actor fueron sus expresiones y cómo sus ojos siempre hablan por él.
En cuanto a la historia hubo episodios super raros, sobre todo uno donde hasta te olvidas qué serie estás viendo, pues te dan casi una hora de conocer a personajes secundarios, sus vidas, y lo que está a punto de suceder con ellos.
Hey, I don't know where I got that from, but, I think this is an important thing when it comes to getting into this story: imagination.
Likewise, the voice. This actor's voice is great for this role, very nice voice. Although at first I wasn't convinced by how everything was narrated, nor how he spoke at every moment, then I found myself getting a little disappointed when his voice started to be more normal, as if he had forgotten how he spoke at the beginning.
Before moving on to the next point I must say that there were epic moments where Sueño won complicated fights against incredible enemies, but others where I felt him weak, dependent, even human-like, and even ridiculed.
I admit that I wanted to see someone stronger, and that this made me question how good or important the God of the dream was, how strong, and doubt other Eternals who say he is stronger than them.
So on that side my opinion always fluctuated. Sometimes I saw him weak, sometimes I saw him strong, and sometimes I saw him human. Of course, one of the things I liked most about the actor were his expressions and how his eyes always speak for him.
As for the story there were super weird episodes, especially one where you even forget what series you are watching, as you are given almost an hour of getting to know secondary characters, their lives, and what is about to happen to them.
Al principio de este episodio decía: ¿Qué es esto? Lo peor es que era entretenido, esta serie es muy entretenida hable de lo que hable, y luego me descubrí súper absorta por este capítulo. De hecho, uno de mis favoritos.
Es más de terror, de locura, de reflexión incluso, visualmente genial, y aunque finalmente termina en un buen y positivo discurso, da cosas que pensar.
Me gustó mucho cómo estuvo grabado este episodio, aunque al principio no entendí qué hacía allí. Y esto es algo bueno, a mí parecer, que te muestren la vida o parte de la vida de otros personajes, aunque ya no los vuelvas a ver.
También, sentir que a veces no te puedes tomar las cosas literal. Por ejemplo, en un episodio pasamos un día con Muerte, otra de los Eternos. Aunque parece humana y demás, en el fondo nos hablan un poco de la muerte y lo que causa en los demás.
Es increíble cómo incluso sientes simpatía por este personaje o que te descubras pensando que la Muerte es amigable. 😆
Una de mis cosas favoritas de esta serie son los personajes. Es cierto que no me gustó la interpretación de unos cuantos, pero... Hay otros que son simplemente geniales.
At the beginning of this episode I was like: What is this? The worst thing is that it was entertaining, this series is very entertaining whatever I talk about, and then I found myself super engrossed by this episode. In fact, one of my favorites.
It's more horror, madness, reflective even, visually great, and although it finally ends in a good and positive speech, it gives things to think about.
I really liked the way this episode was filmed, although at first I didn't understand what he was doing there. And this is a good thing, in my opinion, that they show you the life or part of the life of other characters, even if you don't see them anymore.
Also, feeling that sometimes you can't take things literally. For example, in one episode we spend a day with Death, another one of the Eternals. Although she seems human and so on, deep down they talk to us a little bit about death and what it causes in others.
It's amazing how you even feel sympathy for this character or find yourself thinking that Death is friendly. 😆
One of my favorite things about this series is the characters. It's true that I didn't like the interpretation of a few of them, but.... There are others that are just great.
Su vestimenta, maquillaje, estilo, lo que representan, las caracterizaciones. Es demasiado genial, es una serie muy creativa y loca, incluso la mitad de un capítulo es en animación y trata sobre la vida de los gatos, una historia que no sé de dónde se sacaron, pero... 😆
Y aunque ya el último capítulo no tiene una continuidad en sí, un final como tal, y no era lo que esperaba como otras series que se van poniendo más interesante a medida que avanzan y hay tragedia y lágrimas y demás, aún así valió la pena distraerse con ella.
Hubo situaciones súper absurdas, como la convención de asesinos en serie 😆... En cierto modo eso me hacía reír, pero en serio, son ideas muy locas, o extravagantes, o raras, y en ello también hay algo de comedia. O al menos a mí me lo parece.
Realmente me hubiera gustado seguir viendo esa serie sangrienta y loca desde principio a fin, sin que se desviara, pero tampoco estuvo mal y asumo sin necesidad de buscarlo por allí que ya saldrán más temporadas de la misma. 🤷

Their clothing, makeup, style, what they represent, the characterizations. It's too cool, it's a very creative and crazy series, even half of one chapter is in animation and it's about the life of cats, a story that I don't know where they got it from, but.... 😆
And although the last chapter does not have a continuity as such, an ending as such, and it was not what I expected like other series that get more interesting as they progress and there is tragedy and tears and so on, it was still worth distracting yourself with it.
There were super absurd situations, like the serial killer convention 😆.... In a way that made me laugh, but seriously, they are very crazy ideas, or outlandish, or weird, and in that there is also some comedy. Or at least it seems that way to me.
I really would have liked to keep watching that bloody and crazy series from start to finish, without it getting sidetracked, but it wasn't bad either and I assume without looking it up over there that more seasons of it will be coming out. 🤷

I haven't seen it yet, maybe this weekend I'll watch the whole thing. I read a news that they have not confirmed if there will be a second season, everything is on hold. Ya leí unos cuantos que también están en la comunidad y gracias a un usuario me animé por completo a verla. 😆 ¿Suspenso? Hummm... No lo sé. Acabó sin concluir nada, de seguro salen otras temporadas.
A mi me encantóoo demasiado, si que tiene unos dos capítulos que se me hicieron estresantes, como el de la cafetería, esa parte quería saltarla, ya no podía seguir viendo nada, pero muy a pesar de esos dos capítulos lentos y extensos, el resto de la serie se me hizo bastante linda, coincido contigo en que me esperaba más de Sueño, esperaba verlo más fuerte y sin embargo lo vi muy vulnerable, es entendible teniendo en cuenta lo que le sucede pero creo que esperaba un poco más. Aún así le doy un 4/5 a la serie haha
JAJAJA en serio? A mí me gustó mucho el capítulo de la cafetería, no sé por qué. 🤣🤣🤣 Al principio no entendía que hacía allí, parecía de otra serie, pero después wow, reflexivo y muy loco. Aunque sí es súper raro que todos terminen sintiendo atracción los unos por los otros. Gracias por el comentario. 💜
