Hola amigos de Peakd, debo decir que los próximos post que haga lo más probable es que sean o de series o de películas porque siendo sincera he estado viendo unos films bastante bueno y que me encantaría recomendar. Pero como es costumbre, no hablaré mucho fuera del tema e iremos directo al punto.

Sí, Netflix lo ha vuelto a hacer.
Debo admitir que este género de terror no es lo mío, puedo ser probablemente una de las peores compañías al momento de ver estás películas, me tapo los ojos, me asusto de la nada y de verdad sufro de ansiedad porque no entiendo del todo la trama pues trato de no prestar mucha atención y así evitar traumarme. Sin mencionar, que vivo pánico al momento de dormir.
Está película se ha viralizado en internet debido a la temática que trata y como fue abordada, uno de los aspectos más interesantes es que es de Taiwán y cuenta con un reparto de actores que trabajan muy bien y no dejan algún espacio que desear.

Juega un poco con lo que ya hemos visto, estas películas que usan la primera persona para que hacernos sentir parte de la película más allá de un juego de cámaras y ángulos que hacen más dramático el escenario, está técnica cuando no es bien manejada deja mucho que desear, pero definitivamente en este proyecto se supo utilizar muy bien, dado que no te mantienen la camara fija en ángulos o son aleatorios los movimientos de cámara, logras darte cuenta que es parte del juego psicológico que te ataca desde el primer instante.
Los escenarios son tal cual lo que deben ser, escenas a plena luz que resulta ser más aterradores que en oscuridad, te presenta fobias comunes, que te harán recordar aquellos sueños que no son específicamente pesadillas pero que saben que están mal.
Más allá de maquillaje y escenas aterradoras, llegan a jugar con el asco del espectador que puede rozar la línea de lo repulsivo sin miedo alguno y ese es su principal gancho.

Acá es dónde me pongo un poco exigente, pero con esto debo admitir que muy pocas películas de este género te hacen encariñarte con algún personaje o incluso que hagan sentirte triste por lo sufrido del personaje, y se ha usado mucho el recurso de niños, pero dudo mucho que se haya hecho de esta forma.
Ahora, con respecto a la historia en general, te muestra un inicio que es el primer juego psicológico, no es una tercera persona narrando, no es un reporte de prensa, nada de eso, es justo la protagonista hablándote a ti, preguntándote e incluso dándote una instrucción que al final de todo el proyecto es que entenderás por qué.
Pero debo decir que quedaron muchos huecos en la trama, que quizás sea porque en las partes más aterradoras yo tape mis ojos y mentalizaba una canción para olvidar el mantra que repetían durante toda la película. Pero faltó un poco más de información, ¡yo no quiero quedarme con este chisme a medias! Traté de entender algunas cosas de la película sin investigar mucho, porque eso es lo que te advierten en la película, mientras menos sepas, mejor será para ti.

En blanco quedó mi mente cuando mostraron aquella pantalla negra llena de letras con un conjunto de palabras mostrándose en el centro, y luego me levanté del mueble cuando la pantalla blanca apareció y me cuestioné si de verdad quería seguir viendo esto y... No lo hice. Las personas que estaban junto a mi si terminaron de verla pero yo de verdad no quise averiguar aquello que iban a revelar y siendo sincera no pienso averiguarlo.
El desarrollo de esta película es un suspiro en el oído cuando estás completamente solo, es un susto que solo dura milisegundos, pero que deja su huella y no es fácil de superar.

Yes, Netflix has done it again.
I must admit that this horror genre is not my thing, I can probably be one of the worst company when watching these movies, I cover my eyes, I get scared out of nowhere and I really suffer from anxiety because I do not fully understand the plot because I try not to pay much attention and avoid being traumatized. Not to mention, I panic when I go to sleep.
This movie has gone viral on the internet because of the subject matter and how it was approached, one of the most interesting aspects is that it is from Taiwan and has a cast of actors who work very well and do not leave any space to be desired.

It plays a little with what we have already seen, these films that use the first person to make us feel part of the film beyond a game of cameras and angles that make the scenario more dramatic, this technique when it is not well managed leaves much to be desired, but definitely in this project it was used very well, since they do not keep the camera fixed at angles or are random camera movements, you realize that it is part of the psychological game that attacks you from the first moment.
The scenarios are as they should be, scenes in full light that turn out to be scarier than in darkness, presenting you with common phobias, which will remind you of those dreams that are not specifically nightmares but that you know are wrong.
Beyond makeup and terrifying scenes, they get to play with the disgust of the viewer that can border the line of repulsive without any fear and that is its main hook.

Here is where I get a little demanding, but with this I must admit that very few films of this genre make you get attached to a character or even make you feel sad for the suffering of the character, and the resource of children has been used a lot, but I doubt it has been done in this way.
Now, regarding the story in general, it shows you a beginning that is the first psychological game, it's not a third person narrating, it's not a press report, nothing like that, it's just the protagonist talking to you, asking you and even giving you an instruction that at the end of the whole project is that you will understand why.
But I must say that there were many gaps in the plot, that maybe it's because in the scariest parts I covered my eyes and mentalized a song to forget the mantra that they repeated during the whole movie. But a little more information was missing, I don't want to be left with this half-baked gossip! I tried to understand some things in the movie without doing much research, because that's what they warn you in the movie, the less you know, the better it will be for you.

My mind went blank when they showed that black screen full of letters with a set of words showing in the center, and then I got up from the furniture when the white screen appeared and I questioned if I really wanted to continue watching this and.... I didn't. The people next to me did finish watching it but I really didn't want to find out what they were going to reveal and to be honest I don't plan to find out.
The development of this film is a sigh in your ear when you are all alone, it's a scare that only lasts milliseconds, but it leaves its mark and it's not easy to overcome.
