A few weeks ago, I and my parents watched this movie on Amazon Prime Video. My sister has a subscription and we take all take advantage of it.
Overview
The movie is based on the book 'The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell. The 2020 movie was a remake of the classic movie (same title). I am still searching to download a copy of the 2022 movie.
Let's talk about the 2020 film.
The story revolves around a guy who got desperate to take care of his wife before he found out that he has a terminal illness and may not live long. An unknown company contacted and offered help to get 'insurance' by participating in a deadly game by being the prey.

Summary
Dodge's business were going bankrupt and he's still looking for investors. His last investor almost pulled out on his business that ended up him to look for other sources. At the same time, he was experiencing headaches and found out that he has a terminal illness and may live for less than a year. His wife is pregnant and they have no money for his treatment. He took himself off from the insurance policy too.
The nurse who took him out of the hospital gave a calling card as it may help them financially. Dodge contacted the company and offered a deal. Yes, the dangerous game. If he participates, he can get as much as $50,000 per hour. He needs to participate for 20hrs. The goal is to stay alive while 5 hunters from the game chase him. Basically he needs to run from the hunters who will kill him.
Dodge was given time to think about it. He was so desperate and worried for his wife and his unborn child leaving him to join the most dangerous game.

You might compare this movie to the korean series, Squid game or the Japanese series, Alice in Borderland.
It's still good to watch even if Liam Hemsworth cheated on Miley Cyrus! HAHAHAHAHA
