Hace unos días vi Dune: Part One con mi familia y me llamo bastante la atención, además que dentro de mi familia nació la conversación de si era una buena o mala película, así que quise traerles aquí unos pequeños aspectos que me gustaron de la película y otros que no tanto
Dune: Part One Es una película de ciencia ficción lanzado en el 2021, dirigida por Denis Villeneuve y protagonizada por por Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Jason Momoa y Javier Bardem. Dune part one es la primera entrega de dos películas basadas en la novela homónima de 1965 de Frank Herbert
Debo admitir que cuando empece a ver esta película no tenía ni idea de que iba, no había visto ni siquiera el trailer, sin embargo el cast de la película hace que esta película se vea bastante interesante así que decidí verla.
Quiero empezar diciendo que no es una película para todo el mundo, es una película que se toma sus tiempos, desarrolla cada personaje y cada situación sin apresurarse, esto tiene su lado positivo y negativo, lo bueno es que nos ayuda a entrar más en la historia y comprender mejor lo que se está mostrando, lo malo es que aveces se puede sentir un poco lenta, más tomando en cuenta que es una película de casi 2 horas y 40 minutos.
Hay dos factores de esta película que en mi opinión son excelentes, la película visualmente es bastante interesante, todos los escenarios, texturas y colores que se manejan hacen que la película sea bastante buena visualmente y encaja perfectamente con el ambiente de la película, el otro factor excelente de esta película son las actuaciones, no podíamos esperar menos de esta excelente cast, pero cada actor logra sacar lo mejor de sí y siento que de verdad las actuaciones son bastante destacables.
Si es verdad que en algunos momentos se me hizo pensada la película, no les voy a mentir, no es un estilo de película al que esté acostumbrado, sin embargo la pude disfrutar bastante, al principio ni siquiera sabia que esta era la primera parte y que me iba tocar esperar para la segunda parte, pero después de verla ando bastante ansioso por saber que nos van a mostrar en la segunda parte.
Aunque no sea una película muy digerible la recomiendo bastante ya que considero que es una buena mezcla entre una película bonita visualmente con una trama bastante interesante y enganchante.

I must admit that when I started watching this movie I had no idea what it was about, I hadn't even seen the trailer, however the cast of the movie makes this movie look pretty interesting so I decided to watch it.
I want to start by saying that it is not a movie for everyone, it is a movie that takes its time, it develops each character and each situation without rushing, this has its positive and negative side, the good thing is that it helps us to get more into the story and understand better what is being shown, the bad thing is that sometimes it can feel a little slow, more taking into account that it is a movie of almost 2 hours and 40 minutes.
There are two factors of this film that in my opinion are excellent, the film visually is quite interesting, all the scenarios, textures and colors that are handled make the film is quite good visually and fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the film, the other excellent factor of this film are the performances, we could not expect less from this excellent cast, but each actor gets the best of himself and I feel that the performances are really quite remarkable.
It is true that in some moments the movie was thoughtful, I'm not going to lie, it's not a style of movie I'm used to, however I could enjoy it a lot, at first I didn't even know that this was the first part and that I was going to wait for the second part, but after watching it I'm quite anxious to know what they are going to show us in the second part.
Although it is not a very digestible movie, I highly recommend it because I think it is a good mix between a visually beautiful movie with a very interesting and engaging plot.
