La película nos muestra a luca, un monstruo marino que vive con su familia pero el es bastante curioso por lo que uno de sus sueños es salir a la superficie, pero su familia no se lo permite por los peligros que esto puede traer, un día se consigue con su amigo Alberto quien Lo lleva a la superficie, por lo que empiezan a vivir muchas aventuras, pero la familia de luca al enterarse de que este salió a la superficie se molestan y quieren mandar a luca con su tío Ugo (voz de Sacha Baron Cohen), Lucas al ver la situación decide huir de casa con Alberto, intentando vivir como simples humanos en un pueblo de Italia.
The film shows Luca, a sea monster who lives with his family but he is quite curious so one of his dreams is to surface, but his family will not allow him due to the dangers that this can bring, one day he gets it with his friend Alberto who takes him to the surface, so they start to live many adventures, but when Luca's family found out that he came to the surface they get upset and want to send Luca with his uncle Ugo (voice of Sacha Baron Cohen), Lucas upon seeing the situation decides to run away from home with Alberto, trying to live as simple humans in a town in Italy.
La trama como tal obviamente no me parece lo más innovadora del mundo, pero si me parece que esta desarrollada de una manera interesante, la película no se hace para nada pesada, aparte de que es relativamente corta, dura aproximadamente 100min (hora y media) por lo que es bastante digerible, tiene un buen ritmo y nos introducen en la historia principal rápido para mantenernos enganchados.
The plot as such obviously does not seem the most innovative in the world, but if it seems to me that it is developed in an interesting way, the film is not heavy at all, apart from being relatively short, it lasts approximately 100min (hour and a half) so it's pretty digestible, has a good pace, and we get into the main story fast to keep us hooked.
La película sigue una historia bastante simple en el sentido de que no hay un giro inesperado o algo así por el estilo, todo es bastante intuitivo.

Uno de los factores a recalcar de esta película es su animación, como es de esperar en pixar la animación de esta película es espectacular, la verdad es que es muy Bonita visualmente, factor que obviamente es bastante importante en una película animada, todo lo que es la parte de colores, de imagines y escenarios esta bastante acertado.

Luca tiene un mensaje muy bonito, primero: todos debemos querernos y aceptarnos tal como somos, todos podemos vivir felizmente en armonía. Segundo: el valor de la amistad, este mensaje puede ser un poco cliché pero se complemente perfectamente con el primero reforzando el mensaje que la pelicula quiere transmitir.

Obviamente la recomiendo, solo por su animación ya vale la pena, pero la verdad es que también es bastante entretenida, esta lejos de ser la mejor pelicula de pixar pero me parece que esta a la talla.
