Hace unos días salió Space Jam: A New Legacy y caí en cuenta que ni siquiera había visto la película clásica, entonces Decidí ver la primera antes que la nueva para así estar más en contexto, por eso les traigo mi opinión sobre Space Jam: The Game Of The Century.
A few days ago Space Jam: A New Legacy came out and I realized that I hadn't even seen the classic movie, so I decided to watch the first one before the new one to be more in context, that's why I bring you my opinion about Space Jam: The Game Of The Century.
Space Jam es una película estadounidense lanzada en 1996, esta película mezcla los dibujos animados con el Live actions, este fue uno de sus grandes atractivos, además de ser una película protagonizada por los Looney Tunes y la súper estrella del básquetbol Michael Jordan.
Space Jam is an American movie released in 1996, this movie mixes cartoons with live actions, this was one of its great attractions, besides being a movie starring the Looney Tunes and basketball superstar Michael Jordan.
Aspectos Generales
La película de por si es bastante entretenida, tiene una buena dinámica y puedo decir que en ningún momento se siente pesada, la trama esta bastante interesante, es exactamente lo que uno creería que es. La propuesta de esta película fue muy innovadora, mezclar live actions y caricaturas era bastante novedoso. En términos generales pienso que nos da exactamente lo que esperamos pero nada más y por eso pasamos a nuestro segundo punto
The movie itself is quite entertaining, it has a good dynamic and I can say that at no time it feels heavy, the plot is quite interesting, it is exactly what you would think it is. The proposal of this movie was very innovative, mixing live actions and cartoons was quite novel. In general terms I think it gives us exactly what we expect but nothing more and so we move on to our second point.
Critica
Obviamente para hacerle una crítica ha esta película tenemos que estar claro que fue lanzada en 1996, hay escenas que se ven muy bien y más recalcando que es una película de hace 25 años, pero también hay escenas que han envejecido bastante mal, eso no es un secreto para nadie, sin embargo siento que la película quiso ser bastante arriesgada y en algunas escenas les salió bien y en otras no tanto.
Obviously to critique this film we have to be clear that it was released in 1996, there are scenes that look very good and more emphasizing that it is a film of 25 years ago, but there are also scenes that have aged quite badly, that's no secret to anyone, however I feel that the film wanted to be quite risky and in some scenes they did well and in others not so much.
Otro aspecto que pude notar es que la actuación de Michael Jordan parece más un comercial de hora y media que una película, se que es una estrella del basquetbol y no un Actor, pero siento que se podía haber hecho un mejor trabajo, aunque también debe ser difícil compartir pantalla con Bugs Bunny por lo que es aún más entendible, ya que actuar rodeado de pantallas verdes no creo que sea tan fácil
Another aspect I could notice is that Michael Jordan's performance seems more like an hour and a half commercial than a movie, I know he is a basketball star and not an Actor, but I feel that a better job could have been done, although it must also be difficult to share screen with Bugs Bunny so it is even more understandable, since acting surrounded by green screens I don't think it is that easy.
Mi opinión
Yo creo que es una película bastante disfrutable, tiene algunos chistes que son muy buenos, en general la considero buena, sin embargo como no existe el factor nostalgia para mi en esta película, siento que eso le resta algunos puntos, ya que ahí es donde a todos engancha.
I think it's a pretty enjoyable movie, it has some jokes that are very good, overall I consider it good, however since there is no nostalgia factor for me in this movie, I feel that takes away some points, since that's where everyone gets hooked.
Aunque debo admitir que era exactamente lo que esperaba de esta película, no me decepcionó para nada, el partido final es muy muy divertido y lo mejor de la película. Al final es un clásico que hay que ver si o si.
Although I must admit that it was exactly what I expected from this movie, I was not disappointed at all, the final game is very very funny and the best of the movie. In the end it's a must see classic.
